if you watched the east in 2007 the cavs actually low key were stacked...the pistons lost ben wallace the bulls were young the heat were old the nets were old the magic were too young the wizards had injuries and the raptors were flawed....the east sucked...the cavs had lebron big z and drew gooden varejao donyell marshall up front which as a 5 some was solid and with larry hughes sasha pavlovic and damon jones in the backcourt they were scary... and daniel gibson came alive from 3 a few times as well to round them out a bit..a tiny bit of eric snow veteran savy as a former member of two finals teams and bam thats a finals team.....this team could defend rebound and played hard

This is my first time really researching this series. I always thought they got blown out all 4 games. LeBron actually gave the Spurs 4 fairly tough games. It was a sweep but not an easy one.
It was a SWEEP. Easily a sweep... and yes , no need for overtimes, because it wasn't close enough. No need for dramas, it was clinical.

What a time to be alive. LeBron was a freak of nature man. The Spurs went on to do what they did coming from championships earlier. This dude was so young playing a tough team in a tough (still) era.
LeBron got beat by the same big 3 in 2007 and 7 years later in 2014.
Now the big 3 are all retired, Spurs are at the bottom but got a promising center, and LeBron is nearing retirement.
This Cavs team was so bad but the Spurs were literally a dynasty they keyed in on Lebron the whole series

I remember Larry Hughes was injured & missed Games 3 & 4!! He was missed & could've won at least 1 or 2 games because they lost by 3 in Game 3 & Game 4 lost by 1 but it was at the the buzzer..

He played against a team that had 2 hall of famers, + Tony Parker, Robert Horry, Bruce Bowen.
I'm an 80/90s kid and Jordan was my hero. But this guy is more than just a hero, this guy is the mixture of all the basketball gods combined in one body.
