I am a Vietnam era veteran and former JW. Tony would have had to serve a minimum of twenty years in order to receive a retirement so that isn’t a likely scenario. He could, however, possibly qualify for a service related disability if one can be proved. After I left the JW’s in 1999 I learned that I could apply due to having tinnitus and hearing loss from working in catapults on an aircraft carrier. Mine is only 10% which isn’t enough to live on. He would have to have a much higher percentage to be able to live on a service related disability. I think that the speculation about a military pension can be ruled out. Patience, things will all come out in time. Actually as someone who left twenty four years ago I’m not exactly on the edge of my seat agonizing over this. I left before internet speeds got fast enough to make UA-cam much of a thing. Us older folks that bailed out years ago just left and tried to live our best lives.
Hey I respect that Darth Stan. Glad you've found peace after this congregation. I've been hearing rumors that Ol Tony's family is "To be prayed for." Lots to unpack there.
@@DarthMagog I left in 1999 after being in for 25 years. Back then UA-cam wasn’t even a thing. It’s entertaining to see what’s going on but at least in my case keeping me head in the JW game from a distance can be depressing. After all, the theology about their supposed anointing doesn’t add up anymore. I knew folks who said they were anointed that were there in 1919 back in the 70’s. The JW’s teaching is that the seats were filled in 1931 and the only additional anointing would be for someone who fell away. Teaching says it originally started at Pentecost 33 ce. They base the dates on 607 bc instead of 587 like every biblical scholar on the planet. Their chronology is flawed and another channel put out an excellent video about how many seats have been taken. There were millions of JW’s when I came in in 1974 yet here we are in 2023 with new GB members being added. They should have reached the full number and have none left by now a few times over. Not to mention the way it’s supposed to be determined aka “they just know”. Their are people in care facilities that “just know” they are Napoleon. Nowhere on the site does it say he was removed, it says he is no longer serving on the governing body, could be he stepped down because of health issues for himself or his wife. Don't jump to conclusions or assume.
Never said he was removed. You'll recall I said "Reason one, he *may* have been removed." I also cited health issues in "Reason two." We officially don't know yet, we're just speculating is all.
To think that this is something you would find at your local Kingdom Hall. It's like when someone who was an elder or a ministerial servant is announced to have stepped down from said position. You don't get to know what's going on behind closed doors. And they kind of make it seem like it's not important either. But you have to look at it from this point too, this is something that has more than just an effect on a congregation. This affects everything that Watchtower represents. And if what they're saying about the Governing Body is true, then it's almost like we're watching Icarus falling from the sky. Here we are watching this man fall. And while we'll never know why he has fallen, it's not like he's down for the count. All they said was he was no longer a member of the GB. It's not like they said that he's no longer one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I almost wonder on the flip side, what would happen if he were to be supposedly reinstated into the Governing Body? Now that would be something that would be very climactic, maybe. Whether or not that'll happen, is anybody's guess. But in this day and age you almost have to wonder what will happen as a result of this? And don't forget... It's become public knowledge that Stephen Lett has property valued under his name, too.
Hurray Master Magog that is wonderful news and funnily enough this week I got a letter from a JW in the mail trying to convert me Then JWs showed up at my house today again trying to recruit me. I didn't answer the door and tore up the letter and pamphlet it came with and threw it in the recycling bin
Yes, I strongly believe his alcohol dependency was a factor in his removal. I’m sure the other GB members were embarrassed by the Bottlegate video and gave him lots of time to turn it around. But judging from his constant slurred speech, that didn’t happen. So he was shown the door.
I'm not sure how much of a pension he'd get from that militaey service. I know currently it's based on your rank when you sepererated. He would' at least',have access to the VA healthcare system, assuming he didn't get Dishonorably Discharged. That's not always good healthcare, though.
@@DarthMagog my Girlfriends care, is generally good. But there are issues. Some due to the system just being jacked up, and some due to there not being many female patients. And she has seen improvements.

Just as the JWs have their Governing Body, so the Baha'is have their Universal House of Justice, a council of nine men which is considered by Baha'is to be under the infallible guidance of God. It is amazing how these various cults imitate each other!
As a non Witness, I have to admit that I've never really liked Tony Morris and I also know it's hard not to judge, but I'm reminded by my own religion "He who is without sin cast the first stone".
I think he may be stepping down because he can't keep his sins hidden anymore. It's hard to live as a hypocrite all the time and at his age it's catching up with him. Hopefully he may come to his senses and leave the cult.☺️
Wait, he served in Vietnam? I thought JWs were strict pacifists? To my eye, he looks kind of frail, eh, or tired, like you said. Maybe he just stepped down? If he had been disfellowshipped, would they be yelling about it to shame him? Or would they be hush-hush so as not to make the Watchtower look bad?
They made a special announcement when Franz got kicked out, so I suspect he wasn't disfellowshipped. But yeah, he served in Vietnam before studying and getting baptized around age 21 or 22.
True. But if it was planned, I'd think they'd have been ready to spin the situation, maybe paint this as him retiring in glory or some such, rather burying it in the news page like they did. Ah well, I'm sure we'll learn more from the inevitable leaks.
Tony is no longer at GB. This brutal and pithy announcement looks so much like the announcement that an elder could make to exclude a follower by saying, Mr. Tartuf is no longer JW. It is likely that the GB is found less embarrassing to say that Tony is no longer at the GB than to say that Tony is no longer JW. The WT doesn't want to make waves and has every interest in keeping Tony warm with all the benefits of being a GB member so he doesn't go to Lloyd Evans. The announcement that Tony would no longer be JW would be devastating for this company.
@@DarthMagog while I am going to miss Morriss' disarming charm. Stephen Lett's prowess as a public orator is really unparalleled, He is like the embodiment of grace behind a podium.
You have to give it to Phil on the Blue Envelope Channel. He has said for some time that if someone on the GB was going off the reservation it was going to be Tight Pants Tony.
Like maybe he was caught with a little boy like all anti LGBTQ a-holes tend to be caught doing sense in his mind being with a boy wouldn't count as being with a man Master Magog. 😈😉🏳️🌈
As we say here in "Dueling Banjos" Territory... "Oooh sh!t, who's in the bucket? Who's in the bucket, in the bucket of sh!t?" XD I'm thinking it's faaaar more likely though that he didn't skip any meeting, but went to said meeting full of said way too expensive booze... I mean, just looking at the video w him and the matches, he looks so sauced just there...
In regards to the tight pants 🤔 my guess is that since people who were em want to come off as sexy which isn't necessarily wrong since high fashion people gay or not generally tries to make their clothes sexy or bizarre. On a personal note I can't see anyone purposely wanting to go out in tight clothes unless they want to be sexy, or can't afford bigger ones.
When you consider the mental issues that JW's suffer from childhood onward and the alcoholism it's possible it's both his health and his job, They might have told him to either lay off the booze or step down before he causes a scene... Since he was in Vietnam on top of that... He might have opted for the booze since it's the easier of the 2 to manage. I don't condone the hate speech but I wish him well, I'm probably one of the few people on the planet who could have a chat with just about anyone and at least be indifferent. Learning about people and how they go about things can give insight and empathy. To me, hatred is simply poorly managed dislike, while the dislike may be very well warranted, letting it spill over into anger or violence is something that should normally be within the bounds of self control. To let someone else agitate you to that point of action means whoever got triggered let it go to far. And my take on this is just for anyone who reads it to understand and hopefully profit from.
Of all the GB members, he was definitely the one who let his hypocrisy surface the most. I’m surprised it took him this long after Bottlegate to step down.
@@DarthMagog I always wondered how life around him was. Something tells me that DF’ing him was too risky to their reputation whether it causes JWs to question the morality of the remaining members or, in the edge case, triggers Tony to blow the whistle on them.
Let's face it. Uncle Tony has been discharged by the governing body in disgrace. Had it been otherwise the announcement would have contained remarks from other body members thanking him for his years of service and wishing him well in retirement. They might have mentioned health issues or "spending time with family and friends." The announcement was so low key that you know the GB hoped that you would overlook it entirely. No, all the indications show that he's been fired.
i know personally when an elder&his real problem unstable daughter would mess up (yes you simmi) a mystery illness would strike ,so instead of announcing he was stepping down as elder because they're behaviour is outrageous,he would be stepping down for medical reason's and of course gain pity,
I wouldn't put it past him to stick his paws in the collection box to support his alcohol addiction. Unless he was caught with another male, it wouldn't have been something with a woman or kid.
I would use cook's matches to light a BBQ. Much safer. Anyway, I highly doubt a governing body member does any cooking. I would not be surprised if he enjoyed a sneaky Marlboro cigarette with his whisky. Speaking of smoking, I still find it amusing and utterly hypocritical that the WatchTower accepted shares in Phillip Morris (the tobacco company) and kept them. Also, for many years retained NGO access to the United Nations, despite their demonisation of the UN.
I thought I was subbed! Damn, I gotta fix that immediately! There. all fixed! All notifications selected. Tony can't control his own lust for the ladies when they wear tight pants, so clearly the issue is the Jezebel women wearing tight pants, not his lustful ways. OBVIOUSLY! My dark lord, how do I not get a heart? I'm feeling left out given every other poster here got one. What? Am I a Jar Jar Binx? (That was so racist, and I beg your forgiveness my dark lord!)
Honestly, after the new changes they just announced in the annual meeting, Tony could just start his own cult if he wanted to. He still has a lot of pull within the JWs. He could just say that the current GB is corrupted and true Jehovah worshippers need to follow him.
There is an “evil slave” in charge. (Matt 24:48-51) He “beats the other slaves” and gets some to follow. (Luke 12:45-48) Upon seeIng this, Jesus orders us to leave and head for the mountains. (Matt 24:15) He says “let the reader use discernment” not listen to a “faithful slave.” Jehovah provided this warning for you, show appreciation, and just wait on him.
I know Tony Morris personally. He was my pioneer instructor. His dad was a rich CEO. He has all the money he needs
Oh so that "Independently Wealthy" thing they said in the Broadcasting was true

Hopefully. Yeah it's lonely at the top, and that "imperfect men" defense only goes so far.
Good evening Darth Magog. What are the chances of you being interviewed by the C.O. Visit?
To quote the great James Early Jones "We would be honored, if you would join us."
I don't know what to think. The lack of spin on this matter suggests to me that his departure from the GB was sudden and unplanned.
Possibly. Adding the other two younger guys feels a lot more calculated in retrospecr
True. But if it was planned, I'd think they'd have been ready to spin the situation, maybe paint this as him retiring in glory or some such, rather burying it in the news page like they did. Ah well, I'm sure we'll learn more from the inevitable leaks.
TONY got FLEEGLED. 😭😭😭😭😭bye ANT MO, I liked you. cheers🥃
Lol Fleegled, that's a good one 🤣
Tony is no longer at GB. This brutal and pithy announcement looks so much like the announcement that an elder could make to exclude a follower by saying, Mr. Tartuf is no longer JW. It is likely that the GB is found less embarrassing to say that Tony is no longer at the GB than to say that Tony is no longer JW.
The WT doesn't want to make waves and has every interest in keeping Tony warm with all the benefits of being a GB member so he doesn't go to Lloyd Evans. The announcement that Tony would no longer be JW would be devastating for this company.
Oh no! Please don’t let anything happen to Stephen Lett, I draw a lot of inspiration from him for my character!
John's favorite charact- er I mean King Priest confirmed.
@@DarthMagog while I am going to miss Morriss' disarming charm. Stephen Lett's prowess as a public orator is really unparalleled, He is like the embodiment of grace behind a podium.
There are some very low mortals in this world
And quite a few of them are on the Governing Body. Well, except Tony lol
@@DarthMagog lmao
Apostates Unite! Follow the FSM in my garage! 🎉😊
Tight Pants Tony terminated. Nice coverage, Darth. 💖
Anytime my friend 💙🍻
Jehovah holly SPIRIT '' kick APOSTATE Tony .Morris😈 out,,🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃,,
Let's have a BBQ to Celebrate
Surely he’s long past having a crisis of conscience as much as I would like to see the book from Vietnam to WARwick - PTSD to RTSD
Could you imagine if he had "Turned to the Dark Side" like us?
You have to give it to Phil on the Blue Envelope Channel. He has said for some time that if someone on the GB was going off the reservation it was going to be Tight Pants Tony.
Yeah my money was on Drop Top Sammy or Stretchy Steven Lett myself. We owe Phil a bottle of Red Label
A surprise, for sure, but a welcome one nonetheless
So this is how Jehovah dies, with Thunderous Applause 👏
The fall of another Dictator 🙏🏻, thank you Darth Magog. We got this gang
One step at a time 🖖
Maybe Tony is living a Secret life master Magog. 😈😉
Like maybe he was caught with a little boy like all anti LGBTQ a-holes tend to be caught doing sense in his mind being with a boy wouldn't count as being with a man Master Magog. 😈😉🏳️🌈
Isn't it kind of against there vow of None Violence to have been involved in a war master Magog. 😕😵🤔⁉️
Dude clearly forgot to turn his Nord VPN browser on when going shopping, the duck cap and glasses ain't doing shit for ya XD
Lol no browsing incognito for Brother Morris
As we say here in "Dueling Banjos" Territory... "Oooh sh!t, who's in the bucket? Who's in the bucket, in the bucket of sh!t?" XD I'm thinking it's faaaar more likely though that he didn't skip any meeting, but went to said meeting full of said way too expensive booze... I mean, just looking at the video w him and the matches, he looks so sauced just there...
Is it just me or does anyone else hear the "right pants" song from Jimmy Kimmel every time he mentions TM hating tight pants lol
.....are those knife mittens? Cause you're looking sharp!
Haha! Stealing that one
Oh god im gay and like tight pants where did i go wrong lmao
Should-a listened to Uncle Tony 🤣
In regards to the tight pants 🤔 my guess is that since people who were em want to come off as sexy which isn't necessarily wrong since high fashion people gay or not generally tries to make their clothes sexy or bizarre. On a personal note I can't see anyone purposely wanting to go out in tight clothes unless they want to be sexy, or can't afford bigger ones.
I'm sexy and I know it~
And this space sector knows it too O7
Just had an argument with my aunt over Tony Morris LMAO, but Darth Magog, have you ever thought about setting up a discord server?
I wrote a comment about my theory on Wally's video of this topic. I'd be honored if you gave it a read, Darth Magog.
I'll have to pop back over to Wally B's and take a looksee
@@DarthMagog Thank you so much Darth Magog.
Darth magog brilliant!!
TALKING EVIL
MAY JEJOVAH THE TRUE GOD JUDGE UOU
CARRY ON SPEWING YOUR FILTH.THE TRUE GOD WILL DEAL WITH YOU.!!!!
Well that's a little mean spirited 😧. Faith i take if you're a friend of Brother Morris?
1 down, 9 to go.
Lol that was almost my cold open 🤣
reason one........two many tight pants
Of all the GB members, he was definitely the one who let his hypocrisy surface the most. I’m surprised it took him this long after Bottlegate to step down.
Rumor has it they've been peeved at him since then, I guess it takes this long to make a change at WTBTS
@@DarthMagog I always wondered how life around him was. Something tells me that DF’ing him was too risky to their reputation whether it causes JWs to question the morality of the remaining members or, in the edge case, triggers Tony to blow the whistle on them.
Millions now dead never lived....!!!
You are technically correct, which is the best kind of correct
Once again it's so strange hearing "Tony Morris" in the context of JWs since we have a politician here with the same name and it's so weirdddd
Lol thats why we always called him "Tight Pants"
@@DarthMagog it helps
Let's face it. Uncle Tony has been discharged by the governing body in disgrace. Had it been otherwise the announcement would have contained remarks from other body members thanking him for his years of service and wishing him well in retirement. They might have mentioned health issues or "spending time with family and friends." The announcement was so low key that you know the GB hoped that you would overlook it entirely. No, all the indications show that he's been fired.
If he becomes an APOSTATE? Heaven help us! 😆
Mmmmm, if he COULD be turned to the Dark Side, he'd be a powerful ally. Think of the information we could extract
Sorry tony you never made the .cut next. Don't worry tony was buy the liquor for the governing body.
Lol he at least has good taste in Scotch
Yooo that's gotta be battlefront 2 clips
Shoooooot you know I play!
The whisky was really water. He purchased water that he can turn whisky 👍
Lmao see if I got those powers as an Anointed i would have tried harder to be one 🤣
i know personally when an elder&his real problem unstable daughter would mess up (yes you simmi) a mystery illness would strike ,so instead of announcing he was stepping down as elder because they're behaviour is outrageous,he would be stepping down for medical reason's and of course gain pity,
He is probably applying for the PACT act benefits for veterans who were exposed to hazardous chemicals
Pretty much his only choice at this point. No retirement plan at Bethel.
@@DarthMagog Lol true
Darth Magog play Battlefront?
Anytime i can find a game
darth: tony is a nam-vet
me: wait isnt that agents doctrine as it takes sides in political stuff?
It is. He participated prior to his baptism and wasn't officially raised JW so he was in the clear
well it's obvious he just doesn't have the time...now that he is CEO of "The tight pants emporium" worldwide distributor's of tight pant's
"Good ol'" Tony Morris seems to have a "fetish" for tight pants. Or, saying they're somehow bad.
Tight pants, spanks, yoga pants, I think he's just a butt guy
perhaps he is the fall guy for showing governments that they are addressing the problematic practices.
Ooooo, PR stunt. He sacrificed himself for the sins of his fellow CSA Cover-Uppers. Oops, I mean "Brothers."
I wouldn't put it past him to stick his paws in the collection box to support his alcohol addiction. Unless he was caught with another male, it wouldn't have been something with a woman or kid.
Lol Ol Tight Pants was secretly telling on himself
Why does he own matches?
I assume he doesn't smoke.
He's not allowed to. No rule against owning matches, maybe for Bethel BBQs?
I would use cook's matches to light a BBQ. Much safer.
Anyway, I highly doubt a governing body member does any cooking. I would not be surprised if he enjoyed a sneaky Marlboro cigarette with his whisky.
Speaking of smoking, I still find it amusing and utterly hypocritical that the WatchTower accepted shares in Phillip Morris (the tobacco company) and kept them.
Also, for many years retained NGO access to the United Nations, despite their demonisation of the UN.
goodbye Tony, your contribution to the apostate's cause shall not be forgotten.
He was truly the best of us. Except for the homophobia and the genocide, oh and the constant drunkeness
@@DarthMagog he was just very committed to his mission
I thought I was subbed! Damn, I gotta fix that immediately! There. all fixed! All notifications selected.
Tony can't control his own lust for the ladies when they wear tight pants, so clearly the issue is the Jezebel women wearing tight pants, not his lustful ways. OBVIOUSLY!
My dark lord, how do I not get a heart? I'm feeling left out given every other poster here got one. What? Am I a Jar Jar Binx? (That was so racist, and I beg your forgiveness my dark lord!)
Tony Morris disappeared like smoke. Except for that enormous gut of his. The maggots was have to finish that off. That could take a few months.
Honestly, after the new changes they just announced in the annual meeting, Tony could just start his own cult if he wanted to. He still has a lot of pull within the JWs. He could just say that the current GB is corrupted and true Jehovah worshippers need to follow him.
Oooo, a new skism in this early part of the 21st century? Do we dare hope?
tight jeans look good, but tight suit trousers not so much.
It's definetly subjective
Maybe Tony is worshiping the liquor Gods for all we know
Dionysus typically does throw a better party than Jehovah
@@DarthMagog 😯
There is an “evil slave” in charge. (Matt 24:48-51) He “beats the other slaves” and gets some to follow. (Luke 12:45-48) Upon seeIng this, Jesus orders us to leave and head for the mountains. (Matt 24:15) He says “let the reader use discernment” not listen to a “faithful slave.” Jehovah provided this warning for you, show appreciation, and just wait on him.
Also helps that it's a parabel
Darth Magog , awesome news about Anthony Morris III , no longer a member of the governing body .
So excited, one down, nine to go!
