- This is my first ever actual music video. This song is also the first to be released as official devon graves "solo" music. It's not at all Metal so it wouldn't be right for Psychotic Waltz or Deadsoul Tribe, but it is music that I love nevertheless. I hope you do too. I made this video completely alone except for the help of the lovely dancer-actress Marina Zufall. The music was co-written by Demi Scott from The Shadow Theory.
It is more than a beautiful song, once again you show your enormous lyrical and rhythmic sensitivity, listening to your melodious and seductive voice is one of the most sublime experiences my senses have, the perfect mix of each one of the instruments makes "Angel In The Dark" a masterpiece, not only because of what I already mentioned and the high production quality, but because your soul is in it in this song, that makes it even more impressive!. ❤🖤❤🖤❤🖤

I like this, not only is it vastly different than what we are used to . . . its actually really awesome :).
I'm a Progger and Metalhead, but I sometimes venture off into "unusual" types of Chill Music. This would definitely qualify in what I mean (Robby Robertson to Peter Murphy), Alternative musics with Blues, 70's R&B, hints of Prog, Jazz etc.
Looking forward to hearing more Devon!

You are damn right - metal heads should leave their expectations aside! But this is still one really beautiful song and I’m totally sold on it! The quality of the mix is outstanding - all instruments, all vocals, all small touches, nuances…Definitely looking forward for where are you going with this!

Hi Devon, in my opinion great artists are not bound to one musical style. Artists like maynard or devin townsend are so versitile that they can put there magic into a song, it doesnt matter which genre it is. You are one of those artists too. Im not bound to metal only anymore, i appreciate good handmade music. Angel in the Dark is a very well produced beautiful song with the "Devon Graves" magic Juice inside. During my listening to the song, my wife was entering the room an instantly asking who is this artist, the voice sounds familiar. We liked it immediately. Perhaps its time for a "strange mind of Devon Graves" record. I would appreciate it! 🤘
