I consider this video to be maybe the best you've ever done. The advice is direct, practical, and do-able. Your presentation was clear, engaging, and presented with lots of energy. At the start of this summer, my MD told me to lose 16# by my October app't. I have made that goal and I found meal prepping and calorie counting was essential to success. I also got a lot of use out of buying a decent, not expensive food scale to measure my proteins and carbs to stay within my target goals. At this stage I don't much care about proportions, just total calories. My future goals are too ramp up my exercise program (partially so I can eat more!) in order to begin moving some body fat into muscle mass. I firmly believe that maintaining mental acuity, avoiding obesity, and retaining both some muscle mass & joint strength and flexibility are pretty much the formula for health. You are appreciated. Hello Joanna! I just want to thank you for your videos and the support you send us thru them. I have struggled with my weight and self-steem always but things complicated more when I moved to Canada. As student, I am finding difficult to sustain or rework these habits, and discipline myself while keeping my budget and doing my work at University. I miss home, my mom's food and how easy it was in México to get delicious, fresh and cheaper food! But all your videos have inspired me, made me aware of this Essential and somehow challenging labor that is taking care and love and nourish ourselves, and moreover do something about it while keeping it healthy with our life and mind. I usually cook more like vegetable soups, beans to last me all week or bake chicken with vegetables. The difference I need is to have them all ready to just grab and go, rather than taking it out of different containers losing my time. Thanks!
