ソニー α7sⅱの暗所ビデオ性能テストです。
ISO20000 1/50s 28mmF2.0開放の条件で撮影。
この夜道がいかに暗いかを示す目的で、序盤でiPhone6で撮影した
場合の写り方を参考掲示しています。
所感だと、初代α7sとの差は今回のようなISO20000を超えなければ
顕著には現れないと感じました。

すごい機械だというのは頭ではわかっていたつもりでしたが
実際作例をじっくり見せていただいて本当に驚きました。
一般のカメラでは明るいレンズをつけても一般の家屋の屋根のてっぺんの形まで
これだけはっきり判別できるほど写すというのはおそらくほとんど無理だと思います。
せいぜい雨どいの形が分かるくらいで屋根から上はほとんど真っ暗という感じだと思います。
α7sⅡ は完全に描き出していますね、さすがに驚きました。
さらにその上の空の星までしっかり映っているのには度肝を抜かれました。
路地から犬が吠えて出てくるところまではっきりわかるとは、綱まで見えましたね。
カメラの凄味が作例からはっきり伝わってきました。
+Black Cat's Creation “Takashi At Ota” さん、こんばんは。いつもありがとうございます。なるほど、家の屋根の写りですか。洞察力とても勉強になります。確かにこのカメラはノイズを度外視した場合、レンズによっては人の目の見え方を超えることがあり、この作例中に飛び出してきた犬も、全く見えない状態でビックリしました。こうやって普段使うiphoneなどのカメラなどと比較すると、その暗所性能に驚かされますね～。

Heyy, maybe you still check comments, I was wondering what is the full name of the camera? There are so many versions like ILCE7M2KB, ILCE7S/BQ etc. I am super confused when I see it written on youtube only as A7S2 when on amazon it's far from that simple :D

How do you manage the autofocus ? I don’t get it, supposedly the Sony a7 III is a lot better as it used face detection instead of contrast detection, can you explain?

+jpn89f263 さん、コメントありがとうございます(^^仰る通りで、この映像はA7S2のカメラボディ内手ブレ補正機能と片手持ちタイプのブラシレスジンバルで極力手ブレを軽減した歩き撮り専用の組み合わせです。両者掛け合わせると、細かい微振動はカメラで、歩行での大きな揺れはジンバルで吸収することが出来て、多少の小走り程度なら、今までと比較してだいぶ安定した映像が素人でも簡単に撮影出来る時代になったみたいですねー(^^
what type of rig are you using in this video?
can you explain how someone can learn to color grade like this? i recorded a video indoors at a bar with decent light, not even in sLOG and it looks NOTHING like this! I'm still learning mind you but i dont know where to begin finding great learning

Octpber 2020, I just bought one. $800 for the body and three fast lenses. Really can't beat that deal. There are a few "better" cameras now but comparable new gen gear is $5k. So I'm a happy boy :)

α7Sの時は今までなら暗くて画にならないからカメラを鞄にしまう所を、α7S2の時はスタビや三脚に載せてないから諦める所をなんとかしてしまうのが凄いですよね。(さすがに手持ちで歩くとダメですが立ったままパンやチルトは結構イケます)
私の場合、あとは腕だけなんですが…修行します。
+Koichi Koichi さん、ありがとうございます！Koichiさんのα7sの作例は見事で、私みたいにまだまだ初代を使いこなせていない状態で手放しているのが恥ずかしくなってしまいます(^^; それをさて置くと、このカメラの五軸手ブレ補正はジンバルと組み合わせた場合、思いの外効果があって、今まで現地で満足して自宅のモニターで微振動などでがっかりしていた場面も、この五軸手ブレのおかげで非OSSレンズ含めて大変満足いく結果が得られるようになりました。Koichiさんのα7sでの作例も今後どんどん出されて下さい。とても期待しています(^^

what gimbal were you using??
I enjoyed the video however I have a question to ask: why is Sony’s colours so high in contrast and is there a way to reduce that in camera.
I’m liking the low light feature of this camera however the colours are throwing me off. If you know how it can me fixed please tell me thanks.
Actually, when using a camera this grade, most of people use a flat picture profile (really flat in contrast and unsaturated basically). Then in post you can actually color correct it to your desire.
