The good:
- Skipped most of library
- Gnomish almost killed me but was quick
- Quick exits overall, especially good Caves
- Excellent Herx, he basically only summoned and stood still
Things that need improvement:
- Herx fight was sloppy for how good the RNG was
- Ghouls wasted my time in Haunted but I waste time there in general by not being as confident in melee range as I should be
- Twins fight was alright but could have been better. Let the squad die too early, should've focused more on bloodletting and could have rushed Erudyce instead of hiding behind pillars to save some seconds in the end.
- Should memorize the Mapping Scroll earlier (during Herx death, maybe?). Wasted time doing it in Hamlet.
- Missed that I had cursed health potions. Could have kept my Vampire in the fight longer.
- Sewer movement in Hamlet was slow because I'm still not 100 % confident in which way I'll be facing after using the ladders
- Could have used an additional pickaxe and speed potion for Citadel
I just started playing this game a couple days ago. This is seriously impressive.
How did you stay alive against the baron. He is the furthest i've gone, and i had 3x as much aC, and twifce as much health and he one shotted me with 3seconds of the start
A lot of it is RNG, this run had a particularly good Baron pattern where he didn't attack so I was able to damage rush him quickly. But that's luck. Usually what you want to do is:
- Bring magic resistance (in form of rings or by using the Blue Orb)
- Bring magic reflection (amulets, cloaks)
- Bring health potions, ideally in combination with magic resistance so you don't die before you can use them
Then just damage him as much as possible. If you are too squishy, you'll need to keep a distance, move laterally to evade his shots and deal some chip damage afterwards. Takes time but gets the job done.

How did you make the Baron never attack you at any moment?
That was just good RNG. His attack patterns are random.
@@fskin-pm That was some good luck then! Didn't know he had random attack paterns.
Once my friend and I had 4 followers each so we managed to surrender him and kill him pretty easily, but even yet, he just melted the NPC health with his attack, was the most close to what happen with you
@@franco-tirador3643 Yeah. The strategy is to damage rush him because dealing damage has a chance to make him teleport and interrupt a possible attack. But that's not guaranteed so you want to have magic resistance, magic reflection and healing potions to be safe.

The Wanderer spawns with Magic Mappings. At 8:25 I look at it to check.
