After watching your video again. I really understand now what to look for with sensors and voltage. I noticed on sensor giving me problems said volts where different fron the others. Great job explaining sir!
Glad you got something out of the video! Thanks for watching as well. I did have another issue that was solved in a later video too... ua-cam.com/video/adD8FCPtCWc/v-deo.htmlsi=_d29MPLsanxFrGgN Hope your project goes great! 🍻
New to your channel. I heard you on the Lincoln addict podcast. I had a 79 Collector's Series for a number of years, wish I hadn't gotten rid of her. I own a 71 Mark III now that takes up my free time. Lol... I like what you're doing and I live in the metro ATL area also. Maybe I'll run into you at a local event. 💯✌🏿👍🏿
I just commented on one of your other videos, but i may double check to see my sensors are clocked correctly while im at it. I dont fail calibration, but i always have 1 side front that doesnt go to the correct height and causes errors. To find your mid way point i assume you just took a measurement to your fender aired out and max height then manually aired it to half way before jacking the car up to check where your sensor sat?
Hey thanks for watching! On the fronts, I actually had the wheel off and the jack under the rotor. That way I was to able to cycle it up and down to find the center of travel.
When the system was not calibrating did you just get a clicking noise when trying to use the remote? I just get click click click. I just posted on a different video of yours but I feel I might be on the right video. I will be making adjustments to the ar sensor asap to see if that helps me out. Thank for sharing.
Thanks for watching! Before I resolved the issue with the sensor harness being mislabeled, it would just click by itself trying to level out. But it was the system doing it. The hand held would work. The diagnostic part of the app is very useful. It will tell you if the sensors are out of range and if the harnesses are connected to the right sensors. Keep me posted. DM me on Instagram, I'll be happy to help! I'd love to see your bus too, my brother has 2 lol...
@@SkaggsGarage yeah it seems like I got to trick the system (older setup without app) to get the rear end up then hit calibration.. it works only some times but then right after the back end will only drop not raise.. just clicks away.. or adds a little air at a time.. I do not have Instagram but I did hear you mention the FB group so I just joined that.
I haven't heard one way or the other to be honest. But by leaving it aired up, my brother discovered a slow leak in his when he walked in to find the front sitting on the ground after a couple of days. I'd say that's a reason to leave it up.
@gjoniny1534 I'm coming up on 2 and a half years and the only leak I had was a faulty check valve on the compressor hose. And once I mistakenly moved a line too close to the exhaust pipe and melted a hole in it. But to answer your question, no. Overall I haven't had a leak with the system itself. I haven't driven the car in about 3 weeks and it's still sitting at the height I parked it at.
@@SkaggsGarage thank you, i must have a small leak because after driving 20 minutes or so my compressors come on to fill the tank that was at 200 psi went down to 160 psi
@@SkaggsGarage Leak from a fitting in the trunck and small leak from hose that was rubbing against the front causing a pin hole. All corrected! Thank God
@Liam Whitman ok, question. Are you using, or planning on using the ride height sensors? As far as calibration for that feature, I'm not sure. The instructions sent with the MCU are basically "quick start" instructions. I would suggest downloading the full pdf instructions from Accuair.
@@japans_outkast yeah, I wound up doing my presets on the hand held too, it's easier. Going to be dropping a couple of videos on a review of problems and fixes soon. Stay tuned. Good luck with yours!
👀??? Smart fellow, is he getting ready to install a hot tub in the trunk?🤔 Or maybe a putting green on the hood?🤭 Methinks he needs to steal air suspension off a Mark VIII and convert itto active suspension like some Lexus had, that will keep him busy 🤗
The software on this is pure junk brother. I hate that we have to do diagnosis and calibrations with the phone app. Wish it synced with a dongle you can plug in and out like OBD 2.
Yeah, that part does suck! Luckily I haven't had any issues since, unlike some of the other horror stories I've read on forums. Especially with the controller or the control unit bricks 😬. Preciate ya watching 🍻

Question Corporal Skagg. When vehicle is not in use. Is it recommended to leave bags aired out? Or does it not matter?

I keep mines sitting right above the ground cause I don't like my frame sitting on the ground in case it rains.

do you lose air during a ride and compessors come on after a while or does it stay until you decide to change settings?

@gjoniny1534 After you park it and let it sit, does it just go down at one wheel first, or does the front go down then the back?

Can you setup this system with controller only? No app?
Yes! It's actually easier to lock in your presets with the controller. The app gives you more on the diagnostic side though...
