OK so I tried this and it was WAY too tangy. Next time I'll cut the ACV to at least half, and add some honey or agave. Thank you for the idea! Quick and easy noodle/dumpling sauces make life so much easier. 😉

Whenever I see a Pilipino recipe, I always cut down on amount of acid ingredients and add some sugar to balance the saltiness. Pilipinos sure 'suka' (like in Malay language) lots of suka.
Yes apple cider vinegar cut it down 1/2 or even 3/4 as I felt a half tbsp would of been enough instead of the two tbsp it over powers the sauce

Do we need the sesame oil?? Only thing I don’t have and want to know if it’s still good without it.
It doesn’t taste the same if there’s no sesame oil but it will still taste good 😊 But I would recommend buying one, I believe there’s a sachet of sesame oil out there if you don’t what the whole bottle 😅

Look. I know what chilli is and I know what garlic is, I use them both all the time. What I don't know is that stuff you are calling 'chilli garlic', which looks like a ready-made sauce. What on earth is it?
You can find a jar ( small glass ) of garlic/ chili sauce in your Asian section in most grocery stores. Or try googling Asian chili garlic sauce. It is mixed in with oil.
