  • EVERYONE dreams during sleep. Learning to remember and examine your dreams can improve your Creative Energy, Problem-solving Ability, and Meditations -- and has benefits for your Physical and Emotional Health. . . . *(Lots More in SHOW MORE )*.
DREAM YOGA teaches how to retain a thread of consciousness when falling asleep and when dreaming.
DREAM YOGA is one of the Six Yogas of Naropa, brought by Marpa Lotsawa (Marpa the Translator) to Tibet from India a thousand years ago. The Six Yogas of Naropa are timeless classics that continue to be a capstone of Tantric studies for Buddhists, Hindus, and Taoists.
LUCID DREAMING teaches how to become aware and more observant inside the dreams during sleep.
LUCID DREAMING has many simple and proven methods to help remember and work with your dreams, as described in three reference books written by Dr. Stephen LaBerge (PhD in Psychophysiology). A notable researcher who has advanced the modern science of lucid dreaming, Dr. LaBerge's most recent book is "Lucid Dreaming: A Concise Guide to Awakening in Your Dreams and in Your Life" (2004).
CONSCIOUSLY working with dreams that arise during sleep is a powerful tool for helping to access and integrate creative and developmental components of your being which were diverted (usually under pressure from external forces) away from your conciousness and hidden in your inner "Shadow".
The Inner SHADOW is an ancient concept which has been upcycled in various forms into some streams of modern psychoanalysis, most particularly in Jungian Analytical Psychology.
Dr. CARL JUNG, a pioneer in the early history of modern psychoanalysis, considered the Inner Shadow to be much MORE than just the dark side of our psyches.
Dr. Jung described the Shadow as the "seat of creativity" and the "true spirit of life". He suspected that we as individuals will never feel truly complete until we have reclaimed any enlivening and meaningful facets of our creative being that didn't "fit in" during social development and were banished to the Shadow.
~*~*~*~ May all beings be free from sickness, free from obstacles, free from dangers, and free from suffering. May the merit gained by freely sharing this teaching help other beings to fully attain the awakened state of enlightenment in this very life. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
