We've taken it on a flight and fit everything they needed and even things I needed. The one lesson I learned was to carry extra clothes for me, too. Nothing like having a kid vomiting or pottying on you when you’re away from home. I always had a trunk full of clothes, water, formula, snacks, diapers, plastic bags, toys, books, Tylenol, just about everything. But hadn’t thought of my having to change as well!

I bought a pack from twelvelittle which brings 3 wipe cases. The only thing is it isn’t as cute as the orchid hearts one, but I can’t never decide which print I want so I made it easy and bought the ones with no print from twelvelittle.

I'm psycho ocd so my diaper bag has makeup bag pouches where I have a pouch for the diapers and wipes, a pouch for change of clothes, one for snacks, one for toys. It's like those travel cubes that people use for their luggage... Maybe I'm the serial killer 😂😂
Me and my hubby both agree that we can’t have an overly messy bag and prefer to be more minimal so unload when were home to keep it down but I love the honesty. To keep ur snacks down have you tried putting them in the front pouch that way only so many can fit and they are really handy so won’t get squished.

I got a 4 back of clear zip pouches off of Amazon for my diaper bag. I use 1 for snacks and another for toys! I also keep my son's change of clothes in a wet bag. It kinds helps from things just floating everywhere.

Kayla, you should use those silicone bags you had ordered for your kitchen that you didn’t like to store your granola bars, medicines etc so easy to find and you can actually use those bags ❤️
My best diaper bag hack is to do my best to unload/reload the bag as soon as we get home! That way it’s not one more thing to sort out when we’re headed out the door. Also, I have a teeny tiny diaper bag with very little stuff: diapers, wipes, booty balm, change of clothes, bib, wallet, keys, Bluetooth earbuds. We often go to the lake so I’ll also add: sunhat, sunglasses, swim diapers, water shoes. Super simple! If I brought more along, I’d have clear zippered bags to separate types of items. That's a brilliant idea. Why haven't I thought of that. I also keep one bag for emergency outfit, snacks, and so on. Especially after ER visit wasn't pretty.
Oh and another hack! The reason I carry such little stuff is because I have a little basket of additional items in my car. We normally have our car with/near us so I have extra stuff there: extra pair of shoes and socks, snacks, toys, portable high hair, etc. so I can grab one or two things as needed for each outing.

Just wanted to say, i have 2 toddlers too same ages as Riley and Jackson.. i put their spare outfits, extra nappies etc in a tiny bag and leave it in my car boot. That way i know its there all the time, and then my diaper bag has the snacks and wipes etc for when out and about. If ur out shopping u can always run to car for spare clothes, but doesnt neccassarily need to take space in ur everyday diaper bag😍😍 hope this helps x

You reminded me to clean my diaper bag. I use a le sport sack and I love it because I can put it in the washer and dryer. I’ve actually had it for 8 years. It used to be my gym bag and beach bag. I keep showering essentials in mine and a change of clothes for myself and daughter Bc we swim at the Y together.
I can't keep my diaper bag overly messy, i do my best to unload anything that doesn't need to stay in my bag or replenish anything that got used up before going out again. My bag is much more minimal but I only have one three year old so the needs are different. Something that works for me with the snacks is I keep a special snack bag and i don't add anymore than what fits in it. Maybe that way you can keep track of you granolas and you won't be adding new ones because you can see what's in it before you head out. I love using reusable cosmetic bags or any simple bag to organize some of the main categories within my bag.
Watching this video makes me want to clean out my diaper bag. 🤣 I used to carry no lie 10 diapers, a new pack of wipes plus one of the huggies refillable clutch wipe pouches, when my son was newborn until like 6 months. Now I grab 1 or 2 and a wipe pack that has maybe 7 wipes left 😅 But I can 100% relate to all the snacks! My son is a snack maniac so I have to have all the snacks in my bag. 😬😂

It's amazing how much stuff there is in this bag. I wonder if you need to throw everything out to be able to find what you need. I prefer using small bags to put tiny things or diapers in there and also make sure that my wallet or keys doesn't transfer the dirt onto diaper or cutlery. :-)

My purse is a hot mess so ill just clean it out and tell you what's in my purse, aka my black hole lol. 4 mask, 7 hair ties, 1 broken hair tie, 2 tarte lipsticks, a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in kkw and pillow talk medium lip liner. 5 lip glosses, a mini mirror, 3 dog biscuits partially smashed, 3 tampons, old credit card, my wallet, a bikini and a random sports bra and a vibrating pair of panties my man wants me to wear 😆 3 funky dirty makeup brushes my to go makeup bag 6 pens my mini notebook, 2 cords, a battery pack charger my boyfriends mini toolset and a very old French fry 1 Victoria secret spray, sunscreen, a mini moisturizer sunglasses hairbrush Bobby pins and a few old mints and my baby sewing kit. Oh and nice a 50 dollar bills and 4 ones and some bandaids and a bunch of receipts that are totally white from being so old and my hanging hand sanitizer so I'm debating on actually commenting this since I am a lot more humiliated then I thought I would be omg and about 8 benadryl and a tiny tube of advil oh and a old peach ring and too many coins and a lot of of sand?!? Well thanks Kayla my purse is now not 20lbs and is actually empty for a few seconds!! No judgment please I figured I would do it so you don't feel so bad about your diaper bag!! Everything you had honestly had a purpose unlike mine!
