If you wanna get the true ending you have to glitter every glitter spot please do that you can double the video as doing the opposite of your first run of decisions PLEASE!!!!!

@@PumpKinnii_ Yeah she's able to walk away from all of this and try to move on and heal, and Little Miss Fortune moves into Death's treehouse with new friends from Fran Bow. In a very grim way it's sort of a healing story and with perfect ending mom and Miss Fortune are able to move past the dismal present in their own ways to pursue their actual happiness.
It is, but they are in different decades and in fran bow you can actually explore the others dimensions
In case anyone's wondering, this game takes place in the same universe as Fran Bow, another game made by the same team. The cat at the beginning is a main character of that game while most of the creatures seen at the end are from it. The princess Misfortune is also a reference to one of the villains from Fran Bow.

Before this game came out so many people teased me for believing that a lot of the things Fran Bow was experiencing were real, and not just all in her head. After this game, I got the last laugh, as it definitively made canon all the weird alternate realities.

Just to add: Wolves in the wild ususally do _not_ attack people, unless they are starving. Wolves are extremely shy and will try to avoid people whenever possible. Now, Tis wolf is living in a Zoo, probably hand fed _and_ Misfortune is rather small, so I still wouldn't reccomed her going in, but the wolf not attacking her is still quite plausible, even if she wasn't already dead by that point
Yes, wolves like certain other animals, like sharks, get a real bad rep, when they are generally not very dangerous unless you provoke them.
@@vekaroni135 That's why you generally don't hear wolf attacks, since they rarely attack humans. Its also the reason you hear about shark attacks every so often, as they occasionally mistaken humans for their prey, and don't go for the kill.
Meanwhile you don't hear much about hippo attacks, due to the fact that there are rarely ever any survivors.
I CANNOT be the only one who suspected something was off when she crossed the street without being hit in a game with such a dark beginning.

@@nnioopnnioop2474 There is actually an ending I think the bad ending in the beginning she actually died when she started the game. Her father drove home and hit her. No wonder why there are marks and the demonic area happened

I had no idea! I thought the narrator was death trying to trick her and the fox was trying to save her. But then someone mentioned her death and I thought it was from the bloody rock. Poor kid

kiri was dokodesu is means “where is the fog?” And tasukete means “help me”
the first one is more literally translated to "where are you" or "where are they" i think
this is so weird. when I translated it (Bing) in Japanese it didn't give any results, but in Kinyarwanda, it translates to "The Law of Destiny". then I tried it in google translate and it gives me the "where is the fog?" in Japanese translation, but not the Kinyarwanda translation result... wtf????
@@Pickaxeismyname automatic translation technology isn’t the most reliable. I looked up websites where people had written about the phrase, since it’s pretty simple and seems to be relatively common
I thought it was "kimi wa doku desuka" which means "where are you?"
@@coreDesignix Well, this is a common misconception repeated throughout many a comment section, due to the words 霧 (Kiri, meaning fog) and 君 (Kimi, meaning you), sounding so similar (in fact, one could classify them as a minimal pair, which is a pair of words only distinguishable by one sound, such as coalgoal). However, it does to me sound VERY much like the former, so 'where is the fog?' is the likelier translation imo.
Every time mr.Voice lies to Misfortune a crow falls and dies btw.
As a note for anyone curious, finding all of the glitter spots will send Misfortune's happiness/strength to her mother, while it's not *the* Eternal Happiness, it makes mom a little less upset in the end. There's a cutscene where all of the glitter goes to mom and she removes her mask, showing her wear a sad smile.
Personally I always interpreted that the mother, since she didn't wanted Misfortune at all (abortion, negligence, abuse, etc), take away her mask of a sobbing mother and is releaved by the disappearance of her child then smile truly for once. An horrible ending indeed, but fitting to the global tone of the game.

If anyone is still looking for what Hiro means, he was looking for the Fog. The same Fog where Benjamin came from and the one he mentioned in his diary, it's where the saved children go I suppose. Seeing that he was taken by the parasite Morgo, he unfortunately did not find the Fog unless by some miracle, Benji saved him🤭
Little Misfortune is a game that perfectly represent the fact that as a child you take every twisted thing in your life as a "norm". She is absolutely precious and it broke my heart that this is what she went trough when i played the game. Fell in love with Nino's personality after this video. The perfect amount of dark mixed with cute and wholesome. Hope to see a lot more in the future.

I agree!!!! That's what makes it so sad. She sees no reason for it to be wrong bc why would the people she loves lie to her or do wrong things? It goes against everything a child should be exposed to, and corrupts an innocence that doesn't even understand itself

I love little misfortune! I was 13 I think when it came out and I remember my dad buying it for me. I was just also so happy that the game took place in Sweden and for once I felt represented. You should really play Fran Bow too, it’s made by the same creators. And heck, why not okay Sally Face while you’re at it, that’s also a banger game akin to Little misfortune and Fran Bow.
They take place in the same universe as well! And its cool that its set in sweden, i was trying to figure out which country it was set in. I was a similar age when i watched Jacksepticeye playing the game, and i played it for myself a couple years back and managed to get all the steam achievements

a thing i noticed: at 32:27 the message isnt written in the same way Benji usually writes. whever we see Benji write something and we know for fact that he wrote it, half the letters are upside down, but in this note, all letters are how they should be. so, Benji didnt write the note

40:11 - The Japanese "Kiri wa dokodesu ka?" translates to "Where is the fog?" But i think it's supposed to be "Kiri wa dokedesu ka?", "Is the fog gone?"
The fog is the exist from the loop of suffering, so I think "where is the fog?" Makes more sense

It's always sad when someone misses the eternal happiness ending. He missed the glitter at the entrance of Phantasmagoria, I think. He didn't show every glitter but pretty sure that is the one his didn't see the sparkles on.

This is genuinly perhaps the best representation I've ever seen of sweden in media. Very much including swedish movies.
Based on that, I never want to go to Sweden lol.
This game’s ending gave me an existential crisis that led into periodic panic attacks for a few days. This did not make me hate the game, it actually made me love the game for making me feel something so strongly. Don’t worry, I don’t get those panic attacks anymore, but I still get some chills and shakes when I think about this game.

It's heart wrenching how children feel such love and devotion for their parents even if they're being abused. All they want is to love you and see you happy. And all they expect is to feel that same love.. until they learn to expect pain instead.
Honestly being able to finally move on after being held prisoner by a weird creature for who knows how long is a pretty good ending compared to the alternative.
I bought this game for my friend and had him play it on stream. It traumatized him. I even named my mom toon little miss fortune to mess with him lol 😂

Her name being Misfortune makes me think of that country where theyd literally name their daughters names that meant "stone" because them being a girl was a burden. Idk, her interaction with her mother when we find out shes dead made me feel like her mother wasnt ready for a child and didnt want her and so all she did was try and make her mother happy, right to the end of her life

I’ve pet a wolf. This place nearby was keeping a wolf in a tiny cage as an attraction. I pretended to call the wolf to me and was petting him, I took a video. Lots of people complained about this place, not just me, and he was rescued and sent to a sanctuary before he was there too long. I wanted to break him free but tried contacting the sanctuary first because I didn’t know how to take care of him or where he could go. I’m glad I didn’t, he could have ended up hurt. He was so cottony soft behind his ears but he had amazing bristly thick fur on his shoulder/side

A trip down a rather sad memory lane.
Got your channel recommend to me and love your videos. I highly recommend you play Fran Bow the somewhat prequel to this game. If you thought this game was traumatic, you will be in for a ride. Fran Bow makes you question what’s real and what’s not for the whole game, its story will is what makes you question everything. Love the video too🥰

Little misfortune made a deal with devil that she wanted eternal happiness and that fact she got it in ways that she didn't wanted, she got eternal happiness by being with Benjamin and her mother not having to take responsibility of her because she felt little misfortune to be the thing holding her back in life.
That's what i think of the ending, it is not happiest ending if you see it through the mother's viewpoint as she never wanted to be a mother but she was crying knowing that her thought have came true but not in a good way of little misfortune dying at the end.

I dont get how peopel can still look at something cute with the tag horror and think "no way". Like people in the horror game part of the internet should AUTOMATICALLY know it is gonna go really dark really quickly, we know the formula at this point. Also those who ain't too much into horror games should know that cute doesn't mean it will be a happy go lucky experience, you can feel it coming, it's gonna go creepy go darky.

I’m really recommending Fran Bow, a game from the same creators and it plays in the sams universe. Its a bit longer and more gore but still a very good game. Another good game with the same vibe is sally face. My fav till this day :)
14:47, I saw the sign with there and the language detected on it was Swedish. Hopefully knowing this, this would explain the creatures in the game if they're related to Swedish fairy tales or stories

I think Fran bow and little miss fortune are in the same universe because in Fran bow you see this tree with heads this is the tree and you see that in the intro to little miss fortune and in Fran bow they say there’s five universes and close to the end in misfortune talks about the five universes so I definitely think they’re connected
