I love that the Star Wars lore is so expansive we can have these little Easter eggs.
It's nice to see these stories from the Prequel Era again, centred around the Jedi from the council in books again.
It reminds me of when I was a kid reading the old Clone Wars comics and novels, and it's just nice to see stuff in books feel significant to the films again, like Shadow of the Sith did.
Your channel convinced me to finally give Star Wars books a chance. I am now an avid reader. Loving the High Republic.

I feel like Sifo-Dyas was still alive at this point and his mission from Chancellor Valorum to negotiate with the Pykes took place closer to the Invasion of Naboo. Tales of the Jedi made it seem like Dooku had only recently arranged for his old friend's murder. He might still be part of the Order but may have distanced himself for a time after being removed from the Council which probably allowed him to discover and research Kamino and order the clone army.
Glad to see Yaddle has a lot to say in this book. I'm still not tired of all the references and mentions she's been getting across all the different mediums lately!
This book made Yarael Poof one my top 5 favorite SW characters ever and I absolutely want a series of shorts about him pranking the other members of the Jedi Council
I missed your book Easter egg videos. Was worried you stopped doing them. Can’t wait to watch whenever I finish the book
Palpatine is nice to hang out with and have a drink, but when he talks about Darth Plagius the Wise, he just won't shut up.
one day someone’s like “hey sheev I’m bored, got any good stories to tell?” and he’s just like “oh boy, do I EVER!”
Flipped through this book a bit while I was at my local B&N. Loving what I've seen so far, though I cant buy it yet because of my HR backlog. Will read it eventually.
Appreciate you for doing these videos
Nobody:
Obi-Wan: "Hello there... hello there... hello-" *lightsaber swishing noises*
Love it when you do these kinds of videos.
5:19 the mental image of the primary wings splitting sounds fun
You don't have to go so fast! No rush necessary. We LOVE your content. You could read the script in slo-mo and we'd still LOVE your content.
I get so giddy when I hear anything about Adi Gallia in that timeframe cuz I headcanon that she’s my OC’s master. I know it’s not “true canon” but it’s canon in my heart so it’s still fun for me thinking my OC is somewhere nearby lol
Forget to mention the Yinchorri.
Veers.
I like listening to Marc Thompson read books. And the Star Wars books have such nice production value like the sound effects and music. I don't think I'd like living on Coruscant, with all those buildings and only one body of water.
Marc Thompson is the best of the SW audio book narrators
Thank you, Alex! 📖
Thanks you
"Hello, sweetie" must be a Doctor Who reference!!
I liked the galaxy map in the hardcover version and if Sifo-Dyas is still alive, maybe Darth Plagueis also is in this timeframe.
In legends, at least, Palpatine killed Darth Plageuis after leaving Qui-gonn’s funeral.
It's awesome that Legends created starships like the "jedi" courier are getting more love. I am 96% positive the unnamed vessel Qui-gon & Obi-wan use in Marvel's Obi-wan #2 is also the same ship type. It's so deep cut & I appreciate that!
3:34 It's not called The Assurance, It's called Assurance!
No way I saw this 23 seconds after it came out
Saw it 3 minutes after😊
34 minutes after
I always love Yarael poof
👍
Do they have a connection to star wars the high republic era
For the love of God when will they give us a Plagueis reference, just a nugget of info plsss. They Could have mentioned some Jedi talking to a muun banker that would be enough, just give us something.
I hope acolyte gives us at least a glimpse on Tenebrous.
Hi
“Palpatine is a Good friend and ally.”
Oh, Star Wars Explained even has no idea that Palpatine is the Sith Lord
