total nostalgia, i remember waking up christmas morning with a brand new ps2 and this game. Me, my siblings and my cousin spent days and days playing this series. im sooo happy!

I thought this was the first 17 minutes of the movie until the gameplay started! The cutscenes are beautiful!
For a moment I couldn't tell if this was the movie or the game, these graphics are incredible.

But I do like how deadlocked had co-op story mode. But up your arsenal was also a good one. But the first game is the best in my opinion, especially the remastered one on PS3.

I went to go see this movie a few days after it came out and oh my god, me and my sister in law were too hyper. I love this movie so much, they need to make a part two.
The first R&C game I own and played was R&C: Size Matters. Truly Good times....
This looks like how a so "expected" nextgen Crash Bandicoot game can looks like. Of course, minus the gun gameplay, everything else has the same vibe. The camera, the platform sections, the visuals/design, etc. Great to see a typical mascot kind of game, family friendly and etc.. At this stage, everyone wants blood and action, crazy stuff. But a typical mascot is something rare.

memories are coming back can't forget the Rip Ya a New One. that weapon was one of the hardest things I've ever had to get in a game. hopefully they added it to the game. is not Ratchet & Clank without that.

The nostalgia hit me so hard. The graphics are superb, I liked the different direction of the plot compared to the original game, and the characters are still entertaining and charming. Ratchet and Clank are just as adorable as I remember.... :) thank you Insomniac for bringing them back and making 3D platformers relevant again.
they changed *insert slim codnetos voice from up your arsenal* "DOCTOR NEFARIOUS" from his previous design... but it fits well honestly... we now know how he got his green glass head when he turned into a robot
And so began a brotherhood that went on to save the universe time and time again.
Who is complaining about this game, get a life, this is a funny, beautiful, and action-packed game. Will be a huge success!

This is one of those situations where you really gotta clarify if this is the game or the movie. Although it wouldn't make a lot of sense for them to release the first quarter hour of the movie.
They released the first 10 minutes of Amazing Spider-Man 2 so......
But I'm assuming TASM2 is an amount longer than Ratchet & Clank. I don't know how long R&C is, but I'm not expecting much more than an hour and a half.

It's not even remotely a remaster. They've built this game from the ground up.
They've not even recycled old maps, although they've heavily based the maps on the old game.

It was a great movie
I love this game. But to me it was too short. I was expecting heaps more levels/missions/planets cos I got the idea it was all 3 games joined together and with extra stuff. And I was really hoping that mining level from R&C 2 would be there. Anyway I won't go into any more detail cos I don't wana spoil it for anyone. Overall a great game but I was expecting it to be longer.

Isn't Insomniac concerned that this game contains major spoilers for the movie? It's released 17 days before said movie.
+Matteso586 The game doesn't follow everything that happens in the movie and viceversa. Besides, the movie will have more of the story while the game will spend most of the time on gameplay. They'll complement each other.
And they are great promotions for each other- people now will want to watch the movie more and, those who watch the movie first, will be enticed to play the game. Don't forget that the game was delayed so that it could release along with the movie,.
Also, since this is based on the first game, those who have followed the series since the beginning know how the story will go. It is about seeing all the character development rather than watching a Shakespearean play. ;)
Nick released the SpongeBob movie game a month before the movie.
