No wonder Joe's voice is completely shot today. He was so powerful back in the day but just blew it out with all that screaming. Sounded damn good though!
I attended Scorpions and Whitesnake's concert back in March 2020, just days before global lockdowns and they could still reach the high notes. And even when Klaus Meine and David Coverdale talking to interact with the spectators, they still sounds very good. But rockstar's voice lost over their age is not uncommon. Jon Bon Jovi suffers this as well (I was at their concert in 2015)
Lucky you, Lara. I was 16 and just beginning my love affair with Marijuana. Got to see Iron Maiden, Rush and Dio but missed Def Leppard. They sound incredible here.
Perfect, if I'm not mistaken this is being played in the standard key. Joe is fantastic considering how many dates they played. Just a fantastic vocal performance. Plus, the whole band is singing back up. I love it. Man, it almost makes me cry how good this is. If you haven't played guitar or sang in your life you don't understand how good this is.
When he played the guitar HUGE rich rumbling and shaking and vibrato and thunder came out of his hands and the amps, all the guys especially Phil say that. Dave Grohl says the same about Pat Smear :) Some guys just had that special rock and roll soul when they played. Phil was amazing however his extra magic came from technical prowess, there is a difference in their playing.
I was in my twenties in the eighties. Like mid to upper twenties whatever and this is one of the best pieces of footage from there time period and it can still give me Goosebumps. This is some of the best. Thanks for the share!
We need movie!! With the story of how DL came together and the adventures and struggles. The audiences increased dramatically throughout the years. What a movie this band can make. I grew up watching these concerts of men who actually sang, moved around, sweated, and interacted with the fans. These were REAL concerts. Today they are shit
@@denisebrashears1552A real fan would also know the movie is trash and isn’t accurate about half of the stuff it covers. The actual band hated the movie. Just sayin’.
Good band. I wish i saw them back in 88 . I was 18 at the time.I actually saw them in 2019 .My husband and I enjoyed the concert at Pepsi center. They were awesome.
@@susanmassey9963 I'd like to talk to you in private too, Susan, if you please. It would please me... and yes I see this thread is six years old lol... but you look soooo 😍😉
Oh yea one more thing did I mention the drummer had to relearn how to play the drums all over again after losing an arm. ........................................woooooo hooooooo!
Do you think Def Leppard goes on UA-cam and watches these videos again? No offense to Vivian Campbell but I think Steve Clark plays better than a Vivian, but I still like him he’s a good man
My problem is when def leppard wasn't big Steve clark said if we find start playing gigs he will find a nother band back in79 now they became huge then he died of depression????

yeah, his singing style was legit screaming lol
He lost it because of pneumonia. It has nothing to do with his performances here
It was cause he got pneumonia and the 100 day cough he had destroyed his vocals.
That's why he had to water board the crowd with a nearly 4 minute long break mid song. Lol.

RIP Steve and RIP the 80s. Only if people would know that alcohol and drugs are bad. Thats 80s for you. The decade that killed a lot of these rockers.
AWESOME!! ONE OF THE BEST THEN, NOW, AND FOREVER!!!
My sisters and I were here, not just the first night, but the second as well!!! Fun and more Fun!!! especially since that second night was free~
Rochelle Eskue You are one lucky guy
And don't I know it. Especially since the gender-reassignment surgery.
Steve Clark was a tremendous live performer. All around great live band.
No iPhones in the crowd, just people rockin’ it and having the time of their lives.
Solo porque no existían los teléfonos
I was born at the wrong time 💔💔💔
Except for the Red Iphone
I Miss steve Clark. All my Life.

There is a movie.
@@flyinbrian1ca That's right! And for some reason I feel like a real fan would know that. Just saying.

Was there both nights. RIP Steve. Tear It Down!!!

Solo me gustaría vivir en los 80 para ir a este concierto, solo por eso
Long live rock n roll I saw them this year in Denver absolutely TREMENDOUS they killed definitely the best band of the night
What a freaking beast Joe was, sad that he can’t sing like he used to but at least he’s still singing 🤘🤘
Man. I’m still lovin it! Rock and roll anthem right here!
Dec 19, 1987 I saw this Live in Greensboro, NC! 🤘
Really do justice to this song.. This is The Ring of 🔥 Fire
Em 1984 conheci a banda, devido ao acidente eles cancelaram o Rock in Rio! Fez falta
Controlling the crowd is amazing

Jesus! Clark was amazing.
Too late for love and rock of ages my two favorites by them. Love Def Leppard but those two songs are pump up songs baby!
SUPER ❤️!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like this music
My favorite
I wonder what the sound would have been like on the night. As in I think sound recording techniques may have improved since then.
Here,Joe was perfect,his voice 🎉

💖😋🦉🎸🥁yes I do...I don’t care if it takes all night ...We got The glory 😎11/5/24
Hello Steve 🎉
My personal anthem
I miss the 80s!!! 😫
Where is a damn time machine when you need one, or a hot tub 😂
M damn sure women love this rock n roll song
No joke, the front of the crowd is nothing but women. I should’ve learned to play guitar.
Даа, в то время они гремели!!!💪💪💪👍👍👍❤❤❤
Oh yea one more thing did I mention the drummer had to relearn how to play the drums all over again after losing an arm. ........................................woooooo hooooooo!
Rick Allen hes a legend
No autotune or pitch shifting in the vocals, think about that. That technology didn't come for another 10 years.
Wow.
better than album version
My god he has that guitar slung low. I’d have permanent back pain.
サイコー
Is the whole concert avail to get?? I’ve never seen this!
They released this video on DVD. The concert film is called, "In the Round, In Your Face."
great BV site

I like Steve Clark but he is not a better guitar player than Vivian just look at any of the dio songs which has Vivian on them.
Cell phones ruined everything.
Steve and joe look really hot here
🇬🇧😍😻😻😻😻😻😍🇬🇧
