I saw DL on this tour back in ‘88 or ‘89. Queensryche opened for them to promote their Livecrime album. I was a QR fan too. I didn't had the privilege to be there, I was 16. A friend of mine borrowed this in a VHS tape. Finally I convinced him to trade the tape for some beer. Unfortunately i got no more this tape, but thank God UA-cam exists.
I saw Def Leppard twice in Denver back some years ago, they sounded great both times and kicked serious rock ass. My son was about eight years old the second time and we saw Cheap Trick, Poison and Def Leppard in that order. He asked me, " Dad can we go backstage after the concert and meet Def Leppard ?" I had watching UA-cam videos of songs from these bands so we sang along and played air instruments. Now he's 15 years old and is a drummer in his high school marching band. He listens to rock mainly from the late 1960s through modern rock. 16:20 guitar part is also awesome
Jeans that vocalist J.Elliott wears in this show are still EPIC even in 2022
Yes but Mutt Lange. There is a suspicious guitar solo.
This performance is BEYOND WORDS...
THE LIKES OF WHICH WE'LL NEVER SEE AGAIN...
I LOVE DEF LEPPARD
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
40 years listening to these guys!
I don't care how old I get, this song will always rock.🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I was at this concert!! It was a blast!! I remember when we walked into McNichols that night we didn't know they were filming until we passed the signs that said, "By passing this point you agree to be filmed...etc." Tesla opened for them and it was SO LOUD we almost didn't hear Def Leppard. Fantastic memories!!
Today's music sucks compare to the 80"s music. Def Leppard was the best rock group in the 1980's and still going strong today.
NO THEY ARE NOT. They are playing Hysteria and Pyromania. No one cares about their newer records.
The best tour of the 80's.
Sunny day....Ford Capri.....windows down....this blaring out.......Agh Big Sigh!.......Happy Days indeed. Rock on People :)
They still are the best band in the world I love there music which I grew up with. I had a huge crush on Joe Elliott growing up he is still a good looking man keep rocking Def Leppard forever
I like so much the song 'Pour some sugar of me"
I had the pleasure of seeing them on the British leg of this tour...twice.
concerts will never be like this ever again.....depressing...
3 years later...you are still correct.
Saw this show during their '88 tour, with Tesla opening, in Charlotte, NC. To this day, still the best live concert I've ever seen.
0:42 Stagefright 4:05 Rock Rock till you drop 7:36 Women 13:51 Too late for love 19:50 Hysteria
Thank you
i love stagefright omg
@@apbiogirly me too! It gives me goosebumps
Have seen Def Leppard a handful of times, never disappointed
Joe’s voice is incredible here 🤍🖤
Sav is always just having a blast, rockin out 🤘🏻
👍❤
I'm 14. I wish I grew up to see young Def Leppard. I saw them last year. They were awesome.
I saw them this tour. I was 15.
My daughter says the same thing. I introduced her to the 70’s and 80’s music and she says we were so lucky back then to have music like this.
My very first concert... Big Mac arena in Denver, soooo amazing and lucky to of been there.
I’m 47 and I’ve never seen them. Ive always loved them, just never had a chance to catch them on tour.
Same I'm 13 and I'm so sad because I will never see they
So young and frisky, makes me smile
I was at this show in Denver! By far, the best concert I've ever been to! I'm so glad I got the chance to see Steve "Steamin" Clark before he died...he will always be incredibly missed...one of the best guitarists that has ever lived! I've seen Def Leppard many times since, but this time had the best memories! Love Def Leppard and especially Joe Elliot! Can't wait to see you guys again! RIP Steve...you can never be replaced....😢❤
I remember watching Friday night video fights on MTV in the mid eighties when it was a thing. Def Leppard "Photograph" was a recurring champ.
These guys have never stopped rocking.
I never get tired of them.
I was there. Had front balcony seats. McNichols Arena.
Damn that opening of Hysteria sends shivers!
Andrew hand, that's because of Steve. He was everything.
Nothing's left without him.
Just an empty spot where he used to be.😢
Charlottetown Spud how bout that ending though....
yes, yes it does. I even started tearing up haha
This is the song I know raised up the woman it still gives me the moves of a woman who celebrates this song speaks to woman ty keep it ricking ❤
They had the energy to hold a concert in the round. What an epic opening...
Canada Loves Deff LEPPARD...the band lives on !!!!
Yeah. You're right. Steve Clark. Greatness. Timing, tone, soul, phrasing. I respect this band so much. They stick together.
Just listen to in interplay between phil collen and Steve Clark on the track hysteria it is flawless and as good as Vivien Campbell is he will never replicate it because Steve and Phil were surely brothers from a different mother, so sad but we will never get these times back but so glad I lived through them
how is joe not one of the best singers of all time..never sounds bad
He IS one of the best singers of all time. They were just inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame three months ago.
Thank YOU!!!!!!
Junior/Senior in hs the good ole days. This is some of the best of what we had going on.
I saw DL on this tour back in ‘88 or ‘89. Queensryche opened for them to promote their Livecrime album. I was a QR fan too. They played to a disinterested audience. When Geoff Tate screamed, “Does anyone here believe in love?” the thousands of DL fan tween girls screamed. Then Tate said, “We’ll, I don’t,” and they kicked in to I don’t believe in love! I thought there was no way DL could follow that. But DL was awesome!!
No way I would want to follow QR back then Goeff Tate was untouchable on vocals.
I've seen them many times at many ages, but I'm SOOOOO grateful I got to see them on this tour at the height of their awesomeness. Saw them at my college in Pullman WA that tour and it was AMAZING!
♥💜💙💖😎😘😍🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆
1988 concert tour was best ever... saw them at 5 different shows... awesome
Too Late For Love and Hysteria had some of the best guitar riffs in the '80's Steve Clark was an underrated guitarist in his time, just one man's opinion, him and Phil were among the best teams in history!!!
The terror twins forever.
Really love the hysteria riff ❤️
I had such a crushon Phil Collen. He was so perfectly British looking. He never got enough camera time in my opinion.
Saw this tour in March 1988 here in Pittsburgh. To this day, one of the best shows I've ever seen.
I saw both legs of this tour. Steve will forever be missed
Steve Clark.. Def Leppard never the same without him.
Holy crap... I had this whole concert on vhs in 1989... how old do I feel!!! Great to see it again, reliving my youth.
Steven Clark’s spin 💗💗 Best outfit of his in this footage!!❤️
Thank you to all you boys in the present version of Def Leppard; Steve Clark always loved never forgotten and even Pete Willis for that awesome beautiful Def Leppard music !! Having a crap day ? Listen to Pyromania, turn it up to 11 and let it f'n scream !!
Fan #1 def leepard
They sound absolutely fantastic here. Joe’s at the top of his game here !!!!
He really is 🤘🏻
I was at that show, what a great memory.
Steve Clark had the magic touch. But don't forget of Collen, a fabulous player as well. The two combined made the band great.
THEY ALL MAKE THA BAND GREAT!! THAT'S WHY THEY R HALL OF FAMERS !!!!
Phil very underated imo
the terror twins EPIC.
@wesley wild You don't like High N Dry?!? 'The hell is wrong with you boy?
Just on the principle of sheer guts and determination, makes Rick Allen the best drummer in the world. No one else but him could have pulled it off. He has my undying respect.
