    Really need to offer the Tobu's in NA and NB sizes like 15x7 or 15x8 with the correct offsets. Just because the design on these is more appealing than the kogekis.

    Nice wheel, as well are the Kogekis! Also the knurling makes so much sense.
    I have a wheel performance question...sort of.
    Do any of these wheels help promote cooling of the brakes via design to cause a vortex type of air movement to the calipers/disc?
    Keep up the great content...only wish I would catch on live.

    Too late for me, I just received a set of gunmetal Kogekis today... and I love them!

    Do you all have a video about what are the benefits of a lighter wheel/unsprung weight (I have a 21 RF GT with stock wheels)? What are costs vs benefits with going wider than stock for a car that will stay a street car until warranty is up?

    Please make a 15x9 option for NB in matte black.

      Noted! We can't guarantee each color request will be fulfilled, but I've added your suggestion to our wheel color request list for future reference.
      We also hope to receive another Bronze restock in the near future.

      Ahhh yes, the bronze. I'm not sure when those are expected but we're hoping by the end of the month. Thanks for watching.

    Would they work on NA/NB Miatas?

    • @FlyinMiataVideo
      @FlyinMiataVideo  3 роки тому

      They'd fit if you ran a 10mm spacer - that would effectively make them the same fitment as our 15x9s.

    i like them, but 17x9, i think it would be to wide is the front. please tell me it works well on the front.

      Depending on your tire and suspension set-up you might need some slight modifications, but we've had no real issues with these on the front. With a really aggressive wider tire, you might need to roll your fenders, and you may still contact the splash guards at full lock. Give us a call at 970-464-5600 or drop us an email at support@flyinmiata.com if you have any specific questions or would like to talk with someone in person about our experiences. Thanks!

      I have a friend running 17x9 and it only *barely* rubs occasionally. He's running 245/40 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. He drives it hard and it's fine. You have to run a bit more camber.

      @@FlyinMiataVideo I would like to see a 17x8.5 For the Front. 17x9 rear.

      @@red5standingby598 Half an inch difference in wheel width is not worth not being able to rotate. If you want to stagger then 205/45R17 on 17x8 in front with 225/45R17 on 17x9 in rear is the way to go. Keep the steering feel while increasing power on grip. Or 17x9 all around with 225/45 in front and 245/40 in the rear.

    The single best thing you can do to help with wheel maintenance is CERAMIC COAT the things.

    I would love to see these in 17x8.5. Gives ND owners a lot of tire options (225-245).
    Other then Rays Transcends they would be the only 17x8.5s around.

    • @red5standingby598

      i agree i would go 17x9 rear 17x8.5 front.

    • @RCotaku69
      @RCotaku69 3 роки тому

      Benjamin, 225-245 will fit on 17x9 no problem. For some tire shops like TireRack, you will have to tell them that it's for "track use only" though when mounting 225s. They actually "nudged" me in to saying this in emails when I ordered 225/45R16 on 16x9 Storm S1 wheels.

      Everyone has different tastes. We started with these colors because gunmetal and bronze were our most popular wheel colors in the past. We may be able to offer other color choices in the future!
