Love the elegant elephant
I love the straight strips for the cow head. Excellent.
Hello! I hope you had a happy day! I went plant shopping with my youngest daughter and we had fun, Now, I get to watch your video. I hope you have a wonderful week ahead. Thank you for this video and your talent.
I loved watching the collage series. I've now started my own journey with collage, largely due to watching you all make yours. It was also great to hear about the issues you had with quilting your pieces. Well done ladies!
Love them ALL! the cow is definitely this cowgirls favorite 💜
Omg. Christina your lemon tree is really beautiful. I love it. Perfect first time collage.
Love your blue vase.
Thank you!! It was a lot of fun to work on! -Kristina
I absolutely love the cow, and that it's just the head, but the body "shadow" is there. It gives it such an artistic feeling, but rustic at the same time....soooo interesting! Gosh, now I wanna make one too 😁
Colaborative collage. So much fun! Loved all the quilts! Y’all did a great job jumping in and tackling it! Loved the episode!
So bee-autiful ladies!!! It was fun watching the series and now the final outcome! 🍋🐘🐄🐝
Yes, yes, yes…I absolutely Loved the collage segments and would like very much to continue watch different
educational programs! Thanks so much!
Ladies, you
Outdid yourselves. I love all of your pieces. Wow. I have Laura Heine’s “Cowboy” which is actually a cowgirl. I love that piece. It reminded me of my. 6 years in a row stranding the Houston International Quilt Show and taking many classes.
Totally enjoyed these lessons. Continue on. Thank you for all your learning comments. Lol
Love love loved the finished projects!! I think I’m going to do a squirrel!
Love the bee! Also excellent hearing all the lessons learned! Very helpful, thank you!
THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN WATCHING, I SURE AM GOING TO TRY SOMETHING LIKE THE LEMON TREE.
Great job ladies!
Loved this 3 part series. You have encouraged me to get going on the 2 Laura Heine patterns I have. Thanks for being honest about the process regardless if it was good or not what you wanted or expected. 😊
Such a wonderful treat this video is. Thank you ladies for doing these quilts.
Loved all the projects. So inspiring, I'm really keen to give collage quilting a try.
I watched all three of these, and I’m excited to start my Laura Heine giraffe that has hung on my design wall about a year 😅😅😅😅
Thank you ladies, well done!!!
I loved this! I’ve been wanting to do a collage quilt. Just need to clear my project list out and get to it. Thank you so much. Very helpful! Please do more. So glad I found you!
I am getting ready to start the Cow collage quilt.............hope it turns out well.....I loved this series............it was very motivating.
Nice job, ladies!!! 👏👏👏

Fantastic job ladies!
LOVED this series, thanks so much. I look forward to more!
I loved this series and hope to see you do more projects together! I am inspired to finally make the Laura Heine pattern I bought last year. Thank you!
lots of good tips!
Great job girls so beautiful
Fantastic job I love the directions you gave us
Absolutely adorable ❤️
OK Loved this project. I hope you come up with more I really learned a lot and I feel like I got interduce to a way of quilting that I knew was out there but didn't really know anything about. I will say I was inspired to buy an Emily pattern and I am looking forward to making it! I would have avoided a collage quilt before I watched your series. So, thank you for sharing!
Glad to hear that you are trying new things!!!
Beautiful!
You definitely could've quoted the top and then added your batting and back fabric and then just quilted small lines so it wasn't so stiff
Would love to see The Bunnies Quilt by Griet Lombard. I've purchased the pattern and I'm working up the courage to do it!!
Loved seeing the finished projects!
Would like to see more in the future.
Haven’t started on mine yet, finishing H.S. Graduation gifts instead!
What would be some different types of projects that you would like to see us do?
If all y'all are on a boat, you are listing to Port. You might want to get some life preservers on! Great quilts too!
lol!

I LOVE LOVE THE LEMON TREE!! Honestly if you’re not so happy w the top leaves couldn’t you just put some darker ones on top? Would that be call-the-quilt-police lol
That is a fabulous idea!!
Great job on these - they look amazing! Question: the Steam a Seam 2 - is there a preference on lite or regular? Some say there is less residue with the lite version. Thank you!
Where can locate pantograph for lulu elephant quilting?
It is called Too Simple from Intelligent Quilting.
Why is the cow with horns- cut off? Or so far off to side?
is there a demo or diagram for quilting in Amy's collage elephant background
The design I used is called Two Simple by Crystal Smythe.
What needle did you find the best to use in the quilting process?
Needle is dependent on the thread weight, I think most of us used a regular Sharp (R) size 18 needle with 40 weight thread
How many videos is there on this. The three? Is this the third one? I am hoping this would be seen even though it's been a yr
There are four videos total. An HQ Live with Emily Taylor and then several with the studio educators.
Did you have to change your tension to quilt thru the steam a seam 2 ?
didn't change tension but we all wiped off the needle a few times with some alcohol to keep the stickiness from building up
@@denisedowdrick5268 thank you
Can you tell me the name of the background fabric used in the highland steer project please?
I bought the kit at Laura Heine's shop called Fiberworks in Billings, MT quite a few years back (I'm thinking 2018ish). I don't have the specific fabric name. Sorry!
Idea! Why don’t you quilt the body of the cow in turquoise or black.
