Been using Tarot for about 2 months. Constantly got the tower and ace of spades. I would glimpse at the bottom of the deck and there one of those cards would be, I'd cut the deck in half and it would be the ace of spades, etc. Drop a random card, it was one of those two. Seems like those kept coming up over and over. Well, through a strange series of events my grandfather broke his hip which led to his death. When I asked specifically about his incident, it told me that it's a tower event related to a father figure (king) that eventually leads to somewhere. I pulled the next card, ace of spades. He died a few weeks ago. I've also had other things predicted accurately, including how this week would go. The accuracy has been blowing my mind every time. There are times/days where it doesn't seem to answer, but when it does I can sit there for 2 hours and basically have a conversation through the cards. Just so no one's confused, I'm using a Marseille deck that has the usual playing card suits. I find it helps with intuitive reading not having the usual Rider-Waite symbolism. I recently picked up a pendulum to try and that thing moved - a LOT. Technically if I were to add a pendulum board to said pendulum I'd have a full on Ouija board. There's something to all of this, it definitely works. Looking forward to getting into the I Ching as well but to be honest these experiences freak me out a bit. I definitely approach all of this with great respect. Either way, I seem to be a natural at this.

I just wanted to thank you for this video. I gave it a try and my first time ever consulting the I Ching and I was sort of blown away by what I got. My cat recently went missing, and I asked about her and what I could do to help bring her home safely. The hexagram I got was for difficulty at the beginning, and my interpretation of the marked lines basically told me that many would have given up by now (she's been gone for two weeks and I have walked and driven all over my neighborhood searching and seen many cats that looked like her but were not her at all) but that if I persevere and find the right people to help me that I would be on the path to bringing her back. Within two days I got calls from two neighbors about her visiting their backyards, and a friend with a humane feral cat trap to help me because she's too afraid to come out of hiding. My cat isn't home yet, but this all just happened yesterday and I feel more confident that she's on her way back to safety.

This was fantastic! Your understanding that oracles do not predict the future but give us information to make our future is spot on. The I Ching is my favorite oracle and has spoken directly to my questions so many times I don't see how it could be coincidence.
Most recently, last March I did a reading about the best way to prepare for a health issue with a family member. The advice was good and talked about making preparations and preparing for the worst, It also mentioned paying attention to the early Fall. I expected that my step-father who suffers from dementia would pass at that time. My Mom who was taking care of him was fine. In June, her health took a turn for the worse and in August, I returned home from Cambodia, where I live. My Mom passed in September. Coincidence? I don't think so and the preparations I'd made for my step-fathers's passing prepared me for Mom's. As sad as it was, I feel blessed because I had time with her, that I didn't when my father and brother passed.
Your quick overview of the I Ching is great!

I remember perfectly the first time i used the i ching. I bought it because i was trying to buy the tao te ching but i was confused and found out it was the wrong book when it arrived. And when i finally used it, i couldn't find my wallet so i asked where my wallet was and the first thing it said was something to the effect of "be careful not to get too dependent on this", then i asked again and it said something like "look to the south east" or "your answers lie in the south east" and it turns out my bedroom is in the south east part of my house and i looked in the south east part of my room and my wallet was right there

I am learning Qimen Dunjia - it uses 8 of the iChing hexagrams in a 3x3 square table. The reading is based on the moment a question is asked and the interpretation is mind blowing. It uses the universal energies of the stars and “celestials” and other energies/factors at that specific moment the question is asked to conclude the interpretation.

I remember the first real divination experience i had a few years ago, which actually encouraged me to buy my divination cards.
It was a time when i was living abroad and was going through some mystical stuffs like dreams, visions and moments and it had to do with traveling in silence. And it struck me hard because at that time i did had the vision about moving to another country and i haven't told anyone about it nor was i planning to and this tarot card reading popped up on my fb and gave my every advice that i needed to hear at that moment which reassured me that whatever i was doing was the right thing to do and i am still grateful for that experience.
And now, while watching your tutorial about I Chin, i was also testing it out and to my reassurance the message i got from the I Chin relates to my oracle reading i did a couple of days ago. So i guess divination does works for me😌
Thanks Denis, keep up the grand job you are doing👍🏾

Vedic astrology is insane. If you can learn the nakshatras (fixed stars) you can predict so many details. You don't even need to use the zodiac. Each star section is divided into 4 sections. With 27 stars, that give you 108 placements to work with. Using this technique you can build a 9th divisional chart that offers even more details!

I'm better than a lot of technical astrologers who really because the fixed stars are basically telling me what each 3 degree 20 seconds is all about. Its very specific. And it works even when you divide the main chart into divisional charts. I wish I had found a nice guru, I would love to be a pro astrologer.

Predictions are not made specifically based on Nakshatras per se. Though there are some predictive methods based on Nakshatras counted from your Moon’s Nakshatra (Tara Bala).
Predictions are made based on deep knowledge of Jyotish and especially when learnt from a parampara - old tradition through a Guru. So many factors play a role like Arudha Lagnas, D9 and other divisional charts, Atmakaraka, yogas , Dashas. KRS is entertaining but not deep.
Have a look at Sanjay Rath as he comes from an ancient lineage and you will change how you view Vedic Astrology. KRS also has some interviews with him on his channel.

Interesting that you ask this! ;)
I have very little experience with the I Ching, but the one time I did have some contact with it was while I was doing a ritual with a Chinese-American friend of mine, and we weren't sure what to do next, and so he did some I Ching divination to find out. I wasn't familiar in-depth with the system at the time, so I thought that his having to throw the coins so many times meant something was going wrong...but in fact, it was quite right, and we followed what was indicated and the resulting ritual was quite amazing to have taken part in.
Tarot is fun, but I have had very few "good" readings with it, whether from myself or from others (and I've had a few excellent tarot readers read for me--Rachel Pollack, for example! It was a fun reading, but didn't end up being especially "accurate" in the end). The best tarot reading I've ever had was still the first one ever, from the girlfriend of a friend, when I was just about to tell my mother that I didn't want to go through confirmation as a Catholic (after having been a polytheist for two years!), and the tarot spoke very directly to that question on that occasion. It was in August of 1993, and was just a basic Celtic Cross spread with the Rider-Waite-Smith deck, and it sticks out in my mind as having been especially relevant and poignant...in fact, I can credit that occasion with starting my intense interest in tarot.
(My experiences before that are essentially limited to a single-card reading one time before Physical Science class began when someone who sat near me announced that she just got a tarot deck, and did anyone want a single card reading...it was the Hanged Man! This was in late 1989.)
The most accurate and mind-blowing readings I've ever had were with the Hebrew Lots, from Elisheva Nesher, who died on January 1st of this year. Absolutely amazing...
And, the most frequent and useful readings I've had are the Ephesia Grammata divinations that I do on a regular basis (several times a week, and on some occasions, three to thirty questions a day when a complex issue needs further clarification!). It's the preferred oracular voice for several of the Deities that I deal with on a regular basis, and I have three sets of them for particular Deities, with the "main set" being the one shared by my two main Deities. One could almost say I live my devotional life by the guidance of the Ephesia Grammata, and as a result my devotional life has been much improved over the last decade-plus!

The craziest divination experience I've had was using Josephine McCarthy's tarot layout to find an object.
I had lost my glasses and thought it'd be funny to try to divine their location. When my interpretation found nothing, I was not surprised. But then I realized that I had gotten my compass points mixed up and looked in a new area... an area where I quite firmly believed that my glasses could not possibly be. There they were. Blew my damned mind.
It was such a simple question with no possibility of my interpreting it in whatever way "seemed right": it either was or it wasn't. That was the day I decided to stop playing with divination and start taking it seriously.

I make frequent use of Geomancy and it’s never steered me wrong. But the most mind blowing divination that I’ve done was with astrology.
I was reading a friend’s chart and told them some things to expect in the next few months. One thing in particular I pointed out was that there would be a conflict with their friends concerning communication. They said, “hmm I don’t know what that would be but I guess I’ll be prepared.” Three months later their group of friends had a huge falling as a result of some text messages that were sent.
I was blown away by how on point my prediction was. It was a real “astrologer good” moment where I was happy for predicting it but the situation itself wasn’t good. Lol

I’d never come across a book oracle back then and I didn’t really get how to use it even though it’s quite simple really. Anyway it didn’t resonate. I picked it up randomly the other day while tidying my bookshelf and decided to try it and the answer I got was perfect. It felt like my being was suddenly being filled with a deep sense of peace and love the more I sat with the answer. I wasn’t expecting it to have such a moving effect on me. I mostly use divination as a brainstorming exercise for fiction writing. TBH a lot of the time I flip-flop about what I believe I'm tapping into, whether it's a spirit that presides over artistic inspiration such as the Greek Muses, my own subconscious, or some sort of spirit specific to the divination system I'm using. Anyway, the first time I tried this out was with geomancy. I asked it to predict the plot of a story I'd been writing and I was *extremely* impressed by how close it was to my outline and how well it all fit with the characterization of the characters involved, specially when interpreting the house chart.

So I have a question about your technique with the changing lines. Let's use your example from the video. Hexagram 64 with changing lines 3 & 4. So would you just go into your book and see what it has to say about lines 3 and 4 for Hexagram 64?
I ask this because when I tried to look up what to do with changing lines, after watching your video, it looks like everyone is doing something different from you? It looks like what they do with their changing lines is, after looking up general information from the hexagram they got, they would literally *change* those changing lines to their opposite. Creating a new hexagram. And then look up what that Hexagram has to say. They don't mention anything about checking the specific line interpretation from either the original or the new Hexagram.
Is that something you do as well? Immediately after watching your video, I tried this myself and just reading the line information from the original hexagram was really good. But after "changing" my Hexagram and looking that up, that seems pretty good as well. And now I'm confused :(

Both are done, finding it what your situation is changing into can give insight too, but the first thing to do is definitely to look up the changing lines' meanings in the original hexagram you cast

That explains why my divination made sense then cause I was doing the right thing! Thanks@@FoolishFishBooks. I have something of interest to you now that I have the book myself. More correspondences from the Universe revealing themselves.
The first Hexagram I casted following your video was Hexagram 63 (the inverse of yours very interestingly enough). Note those numbers. 6 & 3. #3 is the number associated with Saturn. Death, destruction, loss, endings and costly mistakes. Check the interpretation of Line 6 of Hexagram 63. Have you noticed?
That's right! A mistake. Everywhere else in this book she boxes in the actual chinese words plus the translation before going on to the interpretation. But for Line 6, that box with the Chinese and translation are totally missing. 6-3. The Hexagram of Conclusions and Completions is... incomplete. Opposites are the same. Polarity abounds.
Third time's a charm maybe they should call it third time's a curse. Heh. Check it out; pay attention. It really looks like this Nintendo Rule of 3 is a real thing.

I have to say, why not just read all 64, regularly gathering wisdom, and use whichever pieces you can fit to better your life?

Great video. While I love I-Ching, I find the traditional process too tedious for daily divination.
It's much easier shuffling and pulling from an I-Ching card deck, just as one does with tarot cards. 😉

But you don't get the personalised messages of the changing lines this way (you'd need over 4000 cards to cover all the permutations!)
