This is one of the best ways I've heard this song played. I can learn this but I want to know if there is a general rule for this kind of progressions or a name or anything so I can apply it in other songs as well. For instance, how did you know to use the #5 movements? Why not #4 or any other? I think it would be really helpful to see a video explaining these concepts more.
Many thanks Champ! Its a minor third concept or (backwards) relative minor concept. I had actually done a couple of tutorials in recent weeks where I used several other examples to illustrate this concept when approaching your chord 5. Basically whenever you want to do a 3-6-2, or a 4-6-2, in sequence to a chord 5, you can also do the same chord progression, assuming the minor 3rd as your root. For instance if you want to do a 4-6-2 on key C, to land on the chord 5(G7), you can decide to substitute that with the 4-6-2 of key E flat and still land on the same chord 5 of C. Checkout the "Your Next 7-3-6 Flow" thumbnail tutorial, or click ua-cam.com/video/6Un1s1nhqHY/v-deo.htmlsi=y8y8jQrMQMFWzHFf and watch the tutorials in that sequence for more details. Cheers!
Just browsing and got this in the middle of the night.. Yoh😂😂🔥🔥 I can't wait to use this next Sunday. Thanks Big man you should teach vocals too you know 😂🙏🏾💯🤝🏾
@@EasyKeysPiano I got you big DAWG 🤝🏾I'm your number one biggest advocate Bruv I really learn a lot from you.. 🔥🔥Well you'll lemme know when you start lol 😂😂
Thanks a lot for your teaching. Please l want to know something about chords building. Do you build your chords depending on melody or do you have basic formula that guide you.
The melody is the "steering wheel" of reharmonization. Thus it dictates the dynamics of the harmony of the song or jam your playing. I did a detailed tutorial on "chord leading" which is the function of your melody guiding your chords/reharm. Check it out here 👇🏼 ua-cam.com/video/_wQDA-yMSYA/v-deo.htmlsi=zNx6ROVMaf_OPArN
Got you. Ive done a ton of those. Check out my Playlists, your questions are answered there in various detailed tutorials: ua-cam.com/play/PLGOIZE0F7n2IEpEEkS4L8nc4TCvFOjcqc.html&si=elJyG7Ly4slsXt4W
