    OH YES. I just love these ‘static’ melody note reharms. The choice of chords and creativity are endless. Using the circle of 4ths in 2 - 5 - 1’s really help with a focus. More of these videos please 😊!

    • @EasyKeysPiano
      @EasyKeysPiano  25 днів тому +2

      You got it there brother! With this alone you would never lack reharm ideas. Infact the longer the static melody, the more you extend the circle of fiths and drive everyone crazy lol Just dont forget your destination chord 😆

      @@EasyKeysPianoYes. That’s always my concern, forgetting what the original key whilst doing all this stuff! 5:24 Would you mind explaining why this chord is Lydian? Am trying to figure it out. Mind you, AI says you liked this ‘leading’ sound so maybe I heard you wrong. What note Lydian are you referring to if that’s what you were saying?

    • @EasyKeysPiano
      @EasyKeysPiano  25 днів тому

      @alamolalamol9426 😄! @ AI. I did a complete Tutorial on the "Lydian" chord, this is the link to it ua-cam.com/video/eNpyIsn6sSs/v-deo.htmlsi=SmIaMcukXI9BRM2Z or head to my "Reharm Concepts" Playlist and scroll down to the thumbnail titled "The Lydian Chord".
      About the destination chord, anything you do inbetween that causes you to miss hitting the destination chord - at the right time, was not executed correctly. Timing is the factor here, and sometimes less is actually more 😉

    This is a fascinating concept and one that I am VERY eager to explore! It seems that this method unlocks the mystery of jazzy gospel! My music theory is pretty good, so I’m looking forward to applying these concepts. Thank you for a very informative video.

      Your welcome brother. Circle of 5ths(251s) are the bedrock of all Chord Progression. There are inexhaustible creative possibilities in them. This concept well grasped would eliminate the drought of reharminization ideas forever. Blessings.

    This one I must use. Very easy and straigh forward. More grace sir. Can you do a tutorial on intermediate ear training for accompany a singer if you are not familiar with the song.

    • @EasyKeysPiano
      @EasyKeysPiano  23 дні тому

      Got you brother. Id take that into consideration. Ear training would definitely transcend just one tutorial. However Id recommend you gain mastery of the Solfage of the basic major scale of your easiest key to play on, then later the Solfage of its chromatic scale. Practice playing these notes randomly with eyes closed and translate each sound you hear to Solfage. All the musical sounds in the world are in those 12 chromatic notes :)

    Awesome my brother!
    But you went a little bit fast. Could you do this in another key and slow down those changes? In the next tutorial sir.
    I got the concept but I am a more visual learner sir, if you could slow down I will appreciate brother. But I got the concept and I am grateful so very much sir.

    • @EasyKeysPiano

      Got you my brother. I definitely prioritize key C over other keys and as you know majority of my tutorials are on C as well to encourage beginners. However not everyone is a beginner and would prefer some other key(s) which is why I occassionally do tutorials on other keys. Watchout for my Complete Gospel course dropping soon, its all on C with hours and hours of content - from the scratch to masterclass.

    Can you play it on C#

    • @EasyKeysPiano
      @EasyKeysPiano  22 дні тому

      Sure brother. Applying this concept on C#(as any other key) is equally simple. Choose any note on the C# scale, play it like a Maj 7 Chord, and then like a Chord 4, then do a 2-5-1.

    • @EasyKeysPiano
      @EasyKeysPiano  21 день тому

      And that's perfectly fine. If you successfully apply this concept to the 7 notes of a C Major scale alone. You would have successfully played on all 12 keys 👍🏻
