I'm glad that style brush (not from your site but similar) works well for you. It takes out alot of my strands and does nothing for my definition. I switched to the Kazmalaje brush (wide tooth comb and pick too) and it's so much better for me.
My hair shed a lot of dead hair after medium knotless braids but it also grows. I was told to comb hair out first before the wash because your hair is easily tangled when wet. And also I use style n jam extra hold so when I take my braids out, my hair at the start of each braid feels like it's glued together
Mini twists are my favorite hair style. I had covid and was so bored I twisted my hair and ever since I do that about one a month such a great and cute protective style!
I just took my knotless braids out two days ago 😭 and washed my hair already. I missed my natural hair but now I miss my braids. I had beads at the ends though so they needed to go. It was heavy and they started to break and fall all over the place 😭 with the most simple touch.
yes i do. while wearing braids i was using clarifying shampoo by the time i got to my wash day i didnt feel the need to clarify. If your hair is feeling extremely greasy definitely clarify
I have been trying to find this woman channel for years. I know her name was something else, but she changed this channel name. I am so happy to finally find this channel 😭😭😭😭
How do you maintain your twists? I have almost the exact same hair texture as you, yet my hair ALWAYS breaks off when I take them down. By the end of it, my ends are chewed up and my roots also become broken off. Also my EDGES! My edges, nape and crown area are now sparse because of them (even though the twists are not tight.) Any tips would be greatly appreciated ☹️
Omg I removed my noteless braids last week after 2months & my hair hated it🥹😭. I lost so much hair removing & detangling😪. I’m not losing hope lol, let me go follow these instructions 🥹❤️. #journeytowaistlength
use mousse to detangle the braids as you take therm out. it's the truth. the hair melts and softens, and you get less breakage. and...use the fingers, WT comb, fingers, WT comb, fingers, WT comb, etc. technique so you dont break off little knots and little tangles. I hope this helps
The next time you get your hair braided don’t put too much products in it bc that would lead to breakage when it’s time to detangle it. Too much hair styling gel and grease that lasts weeks in your hair will collect dirt and make it difficult to detangle in the future. Not only that but grease and gel dries up quickly and dehydrates your hair significantly. Like the comment above mentioned to moisturize it before you detangle it that way it’s easy to maneuver through the old grease/gel/dirt that’s caught up in the hair and easily and swiftly detangle it
I currently have knotless braids ( 4 weeks). After watching this video I think I can stretch my style for another 2-4 weeks 👌🏾
You can do it!
😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
I still have my braids in so I’m saving this for later this month cause I know Imma need the help 😭
Don’t worry! You’ll be fine
Me too!😊
How long have you had them in?
When you take them out, how many weeks wld it have been.
Me too! I saved it because I have braids in right now.
Your hair looks healthy and soft. I am inspired. thanks
Thank you!
Get the tangle teezer ultimate detangler!!! Cuts down the time and I have the same brush and comb you used. They don't compare at all!!
You are just gorgeous! I don’t even have your hair type and still enjoy your content.
Aww thanks for supporting! And thank you for the compliment

Wow that sucks. This brush works amazing for me. But I’m happy to hear you found an alternative

It’s a great protective style
Your voice is so calming 🧘🏾♀️💕

I’m also about to take out my knotless braids that I’ve had for two months.
Good luck! Hope it doesn’t take too long

I detangled before washing. When i removed each braid i detangle each section.
Mini twists are my favorite hair style. I had covid and was so bored I twisted my hair and ever since I do that about one a month such a great and cute protective style!
I definitely see myself doing them more often
Detangling your hair with the brush vertically detangles it faster.
yes this is true! Sometimes i forget
keep doing what you're doing in the gym because your back looks great!
Lol thanks
Thanks for sharing Shanique, I haven't done mini twists in my hair in a long time.
You’re welcome 😊
Can you give tips on how you take care of your scalp while your hair is in braids
Check out my previous on how I wash and oil my scalp while wearing braids
@@ShaniqueBuntyn thank you so much ❤️
Beautiful hair. Im going to get one of those brushes.
Thank you
I've been a subscriber for a year or 3,lol, so happy with your progress over time❣️
thank you!
Are you sitting under steamer when you apply deep conditioner??
Not in this video. Exactly what you see is what I did. I let it sit for 10 mins. I have a steaming video on my channel
@@ShaniqueBuntyn okey thank you..how often do you wash your braids before taking them down??
When you had your knotless braids in, how often did you moisturize with leave in conditioner and how often did you oil your scalp?
once a week

Oh no! I’ve never tried beads on my braids
Do you ever use a clarifying shampoo in your routine? I thought we had to use a clarifying shampoo after a protective style?
yes i do. while wearing braids i was using clarifying shampoo by the time i got to my wash day i didnt feel the need to clarify. If your hair is feeling extremely greasy definitely clarify
@@ShaniqueBuntyn got it, thank you!

Wow this hair looks healthy 👌😍. What's the title of the background song?
OMG....hair envy!!😍😍😍😍
Lol ☺️
Did you do the 84 twist on the same day or later on???
Same day
@@ShaniqueBuntyn oh ok... That's good to know..
Yea I just didn’t show the results in the same day. I showed how they looked after a week
What do you do in the shower while you’re deep conditioning
Depends on how long I’m deep conditioning. Either rinsing out a section or shower
Am taking down 3month old braids right now am so tired😩
You got this!
Literally doing this right now! My phone is listening lol
Lol
So refreshing 😌 👍🏽
Glad you think so
I've used my nails 54 years and never damaged my scalp !!! You won't damage your scalp...lol
That’s good to hear but it is possible.
Hey Shanique. You have some nice hair. Do you take hair supplements for it to be thick like that? Your hair is so healthy.
Hey thank you! I don’t take any supplements
@@ShaniqueBuntyn thank you for your response.
No problem
So so beautiful❤
Thank you

i remosturize and seal every few days. I always make sure to protect my hair with a satin scarf or bonnet at night
Your hair absorbed the water immediately 😭😭
How did you get your hair to do that?
Warm water helps with accepting water. Not having overly greasy hair as well
Thanks for video great job gorgeous
Thank you so much

After taking the two month braids down, Do you recommend washing your hair before or after you do a hair mask?
before
