Remember to you have bleach left in your spray hose.Do you have a way to watch the water to see how much comes out of the buffer tank? I bet you’re pretty much 50/50 if you could watch the water and bleach leaving each tank.
Hi Lawrence! Another excellent real world experiment. Check the water tank to see if there was the same reduction as the SH tank. I saw another vid by Cody at SESW saying the meter number are not exact. You would have to go a little bit further in one direction or the other for an exact mix ratio that you want.
Are your water and bleach supply lines into the meters the exact same size? Is there a vacuum on the bleach tank(is it vented?) just a couple observations. Nice experiment.

Yes same size and same length and the bleach tank has a vent built into the tank lid,
