This has literally saved my life! It took me nearly 3hrs to clean and fix the AC until I found your video, nobody has covered the AC model I have and you my friend you are a life savior. Thanks for doing this!
now it's something else, while other channels talking about how to clean the clogged pipe etc, you just simply tilt the unit instead... and amazingly the method fixed mine.
My AC started dripping at 2 am. Watched your video and fixed it. It was a minor jam in the outlet pipe. Poked the outlet with a wire and water flowed out. God bless you 😊😊😊😊
I used to call someone to fix my ac and every time it came back with another thing that needed fixing. It was frustrating. I just fixed my ac leak following this video with no problems. Thank you you’re a lifesaver!
Thanks man it took me like 3 hours to fix it. I live in 3rd world country and my currency depreciated a lot. It would have cost me like 80% of a minimum wage if I called a professional to do it. Thanks!!
Can’t thank you enough for this! AC was leaking in the middle of a heat wave here in Australia and we were struggling to keep our newborn cool. Couldn’t get anyone to fix it on the weekend. Thank you!!!
We have a 13 month old and we're in the same boat. The Queensland heat is no joke. Keeping your newborn cool is one of the most important things that you'll do this year. Congrats and good luck.
As others experienced, spent a few hours on this poking around and looking for info and tips to no avail. We only need the AC units for a couple more months now as we are moving to a new house then with new units installed. Certainly didn’t want to spend a lot for that very reason. Ours are 25 year old Fujitsu air conditioners so they’ve certainly done their work- but just a little longer please! Thank you so much as the method worked as well on ours as newer ones such as in your video, I’d imagine.
Perfect, and the air compressor with an air gun attachment blew out the obstruction. Poured some bleach down it in case there was algae buildup. And now the filters are clean also! Excellent information and DIY project!!
Let me tell you, I had the shittiest day today and I truly believed I was about to sleep without an ac for weeks, I just took out the filters and HOLY SHIT the amount of dust that was on it was HORRIFYING rinced the filters off and now it's good as new! Thank you so much I will put you in my favorite videos, you made my night thank you!!!
On mine, there was a giant collection of gooey gelatin-like muck. I used an old toothbrush to push it out of the internal unit's gutter, and then tested the flow of water from a cup as described in this video. Flows properly again ! Thanks for this video!
Thank you so much! Tried getting an electrician to come take a look at my leaking AC, but they all are too busy on construction sites to bother with "such a small problem" a.c. I followed your instructions, and fixed the unit under 10minutes :) Thank you so much!
I hit two birds with one stone :) learned some new English vocabulary and fixed my AC :) That is why we have to watch videos in our target language at any time and in every situation . Thanks man
Hi, how are you? first, I want to thank you for this video. I never know that I had that talent!!! I watched your vid and I solved my AC leak problem THANK U SO MUCH! I just save $100 thank you!thank you thank you thank you
I don't know what it was, I only cleaned the filters and also inclined the AC a bit, but it stopped dripping, and it dripped a lot all of the sudden. I would've had to wait 1-2 days for someone to come and fix it, and it gets quite hot where I live. I have a fan for emergencies, but it wouldn't have been nearly enough. So, thank you!!! Very well made video!
Fantastic video from Australia I watched your video and fixed my Ac Thank you Sir. Blocked drainage btw just shot some Air down works perfectly 🎉. Probably never cleaned properly 😁
Thank you very much for the systemic explanation. If you don't mind I have two questions: 1- How to fix the Internal Unit which is not working while the compresser do? 2- Is it possible to link two Internal AC split units to the same compresser?
@@HowToPM Thank you So much for the propmt reply. I tried Yesterday to fix it as you did explain exactly, But there were some screws in the case couldn't remove at all, about the damage my screw drivers. Idid som cleaning the draining stops for couple of hours only. Thanks once again
Bro, you help me looked into my split AC because of your vid. Idk if this is a good place to ask, but my ac only starts blowing cool air whenever I pour in water in the aluminum block. Any thoughts?
@@HowToPM Really? Must be Quebec? I could not place the accent. Canada is nice. Especially Quebec, if that is where you are from. I'm in Europe and can't clean the hose from the outside, as I am up to high. Thank you! Merci beaucoup!
Thank you for the education. Our units are eight years old and one just started leaking. I'm also concerned now about the rest of them. Any alternative to using an air compressor, like maybe a plumbing snake or something similar?
That is what I used, I never tried other alternative. But probably that a shopvac on the other end would do the job too or a fish tape too. I think some people give ideas in the comment.
I just couldn't sleep with the leak; it made me so uncomfortable.
Thanks to you man, I was able to fix it in minutes.
Thank you.

Ahah!! Great! Thanks for your comment I'm glad it helped!
In my case the tilt won't help because the water leaks at the spot where the hose is connected to the ac

Thank you sir. Fixed my problem. Shop vac on the drain line will do the same thing without taking anything apart.
It may, but in some cases there is plenty of gunk stuck in the pan which needs to be cleaned inside.

Thanks. I was just pushing under it. But the bracket would have to be readjusted. Or you could use a little something to jam in under.
J'ai reconnu ton accent Québécois:) Merci pour les infos.
