In Thailand use high pressure water pump with reduce pressure water gun for clean indoor unit. All electric parts seal with plastic bags and tape. And use the big plastic bag modify to make a gutter for dirty water flow down out to window. Make it dry with blower. The last step, use alcohol spray on evaporator for reduce bad smell.
It only kill the germs and smell but the dirt is still there and bacteria will grow back. You should have rinse it, you wasted ur effort in dismantling and not cleaning the proper way
Good video sir. Here in Chennai, Tamil Nadu we are paying Rs. 500 for getting cleaned only indoor unit. The ac mechanic will never even touch the 2nd unit. Henceforth I myself will start doing servicing of my own . Thanks
My air conditioner was hardly heating so after watching this video I decided to clean the outside unit. It didn't look to dirty but boy it sure made a difference.
Use water and a bag for the indoor unit to flush it out, then just use the garden hose on the outdoor unit to psh al the dirt and crap out from between the fins.
Good to see and learn, question is that, water is not required for over all cleaning the coil and dirt with chemicals??? In this video we didn't see by jet water cleaning.
Nice and useful video 👍🏻😃 just a question, outdoor also needs to be cleaned ?? Because I use to clean only indoor unit !! Even service engineer does only indoor
You need stronger chemicals to break down all the dust and mold sticking on to the fins and the roller fan. It's what the professionals use, it's quite acidic and you have to wear gloves to handle it. These types of DIY spray won't do much difference, even if you spray a few cans of them.
I'd just take the fan off of the condenser and spray through the fines from inside out with nubrite blue cleaner, let sit and spray water through.. if your getting dirty foam and water through on outside keep going and it's pretty clean. If not then take cage off and brush the crap off.. also every mini split I've ever seen has a caution! Clean with water only sticker... that evap foam cleaner may be okay, I'm not sure, but I've been told not to do that before.. just simple green and water
I use this method but I go a few steps further. I remove the blower wheel and clean it I also remove the drain pan and clean it out and make sure the drain line is clear then I spray on this product. let it foam up for a few minutes while putting the unit back together. Once reassembled I operate the unit for 1 hour and the condensation that occurs on the evaporator coils rinses the dirt away that the foam loosens up.
Thanks for the video and where should i can buy the cleanner if i stay in Jakarta - Indonedia ? May i got the web store of the products and how much the price per can ? Thanks
Good work bro. I have a question. Don't we have to use water after applying the fome on the coil to clean the foam? Just leave it with foam applying? Where is the dust that foam removed from the coil
Thanks for the video! Probably one of the best A C. Diy videos with good graphics. Instructions are very clear but care must be taken when one or both units are at a height requiring one or more ladders. The discription box mentioned no rinse required however there is some concern as alkalies are used. I will have to read up on this, or that means we have to trust the product manufacturers. If this is truly safe it's a nice thing to know!
Best way to clean this system is pressure pump with water...if you clean on this way, this will just clean front part of the cooling coil and still, your fan blower is dirty, means your air is not clean.so clean it properly to get good air and efficient cooling..
Those coils on the indoor unit are still dirty. Go slow from left to right then top to bottom to allow more foam to get in between the coils and drip down and you'll have a much cleaner unit. These daikins also have coils on the top of the unit that angle down that weren't cleaned at all.
So you used evap cleaner on a condenser incorrect that needs to be washed off . It's only non rinse on evaps because the sweat and automatically washed off the cleaner during cooling operation

This Self-rinsing spray no need to wash with water. however, if anybody wish to wash with water there is no problem.
@@lovepreet666 Great information. But what about dirt accumulated in the coil? How it will come out?

benzene phospate Most split ac unit could like this are self rinsing, so they’ll rinse off when they are turned on and running.
@@PlantASmile no they don't you have to rinse them and especially the barrel fan crap builds up them like you wouldn't believe

I think he should use coil cleaner for better results.

Aren't you suppose to wipe the foam after it settles in 15 minutes later? How does the foam wash away the dirt alone?
Same question
You're right wait 15 than wipe and wash
It's a man. They don't read instructions.
Nice👍🌹🌹🌹🌹
Thank you! Cheers!
So you just sprayed the foam and then what ? You just leave it there ?? Hoy you are going to clean it without water ??
the AC will rinse itself with operation. The condensation that forms on the evaporator coils actually rinse the dirt away.
the best clips of air-conditioner cleaning for household :)
You shouldn't let the foam just fall down. After spraying, let it sit for 5-7 mins then wash it with water
Absolutely true.
No need to wash with water after spraying?
Good job.Thank you for the information
Fantastic 👌👌🙏 🙏 Ac Service thank you very much Sir..

Condenser should be rinsed. Non rinse products are only for Evap as condensation removes the cleaning agent. That does not happen in the Condenser.

This is a no rinse foam. Once you start running the unit again the condensation from the coils will eventually wash everything out into the drain pan.
