This is revenge for Cyote Peterson. Bronzing a Giant Water Bug aka. The Toe Bitter! It’s the same process as lost wax casting but in this case it’s lost bug casting.
I told my little cousins to go catch me a praying mantis at the end of the video but it cut off for some reason. But I think that would be a super cool bronze.
I actually told my cousins to go find me a praying mantis at the end of the video but it’s cut off for some reason. But I think a praying mantis would be awesome.
@@lundgrenbronzestudios I agree, insect look amazing in bronze. I have few suggestions to earn some $. Cast coins, belt buckles and other easier objects. It would be amazing to see you do Corinthian helm 1:1 scale one day. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corinthian_helmet Much larger but it could also be great in smaller scale as a paper weight. Also I would suggest getting something like 3DMakerpro Seal Lite to print in resin and cast. You would get more consistent models.
I know girls are supposed to say eeww to bugs. And although he does look creepy, I am so interested in bug life. I love to find out what their super powers are. So this one was very cool. In my excellent opinion, anyway!

I don’t know what happened, but the end of the video glitched and skipped the part where I thanked the boys. I didn’t bring my computer to Thailand so I can’t fix it.

you can chisel off the flashing with a sharp little chisel and hammer right at the base of the flashing, works a charm!
That’s a good idea!
Great work! I'd like to see you do a praying mantis. Or maybe a tarantula. Can you do a fish?

The bite of the giant water bug is really infamous. Great cast!
Bro, you are getting better every time. Cast some other bigger insects like big scorpions and auction them off pls. Waiting for the next video.

I opened a channel for similar content in Arabic. Thank you. You are a creative and inspiring person❤
Do you also cast insects?
@@lundgrenbronzestudios

Very nice!
Beautiful work. 👍🏻
I love this cast. Thanks!

Thanks for watching!
Very cool, and skillful.
Do you cast requests?
I have a list of global political leaders that would make excellent live casts 😂👍
I do some suggestions sometimes.
Does the flashing happen in part because you cant vacuum the investment during the pour process? Or at least is that a large contributing factor?
No I messed the mixture possibly or I rushed the burn out too much. Those are likely reasons for the flashing.
Just a novice here. I recently got a half decent vacuum pump and im wondering how you set up your chamber?
I made a few videos on how I do that. Here is the current one I am using.

Yes it’s ultra vest investment from Rio grande jewelry supply.
Wauw, so cool,
Snow? Where do you live? Montana? Or some old video.
I live in Minnesota. But it was filmed. Several weeks ago.
Unfun fact: the toe biter has the most painful bite of any insect
Ouch!
Clean up requires such patience ... excellent job!
Thank you!

Can You cast one of your nephew in bronze
Probably not a good idea.
So cool! The boys were hoping this one could come out soon! They just caught another toe biter in the net while smelting the other day.

I got it on Amazon. I believe it is a 6kg.
