I think it's safe to say the entire MCU fandom was left in shock from the final moments of this episode. There hasn't been a feeling like this in the MCU since the final moments of Infinity War. 😑
Jonathan Majors is pure genius. Between the Loki series and Ant-Man Quantumania he's already been so many distinct personalities of the same person..The writers are also geniuses. Let's make an episode that will blow up everyones' theories. Literally. LOL
The Temporal loom imploded and the theory is that it sent everyone at the TVA back to their respective timelines…everyone but Loki. Loki’s timeline was pruned back in s1 e1 when he was first arrested by the TVA. Since he has no timeline to go back to, he’ll end up glitching/Time slipping again as seen in the trailer where he time slips in front of a jet ski store. I’m not entirely sure about Sylvie though because we haven’t seen here time slipping. Maybe because of the temp pad she’s got. Loki is gonna have to use this time slipping thing to his advantage and go between past-present and future to gather all of his friends. I’m assuming this much because in the trailer, he says “what I’m about to tell you is going to be hard to believe…again.” Most likely, his friends will not remember anything this time.
@@douglasmitchum1488 that would be wild.. and impressive. Just send him back to where he was talking to Tony about taking over Earth and then Loki is like wait.. this happened.. but it doesn't need to.. bye.. and Tony is there confused
@@offcenterideas that’s true… unless HWR was either kind enough to not prune their timelines…or because of the blast, it all just comes back. OR the third option is where they all die and Loki and Sylvie remain💀
We are watching a snake eat it’s own head at the end of this episode. Watching the end of the TVA means we are about to see it’s beginnings. It could have been it was Loki who took Mobius off the timeline originally and set them on the path that lead them here. Maybe OB is like Kangs memory. He knows he will lose his memory, or another one of his variants must come into possession of the TVA first for it to end up in his hands. The broken statue at the end of time could even be Loki. Him and OB might have been who the two other time keepers are based on
That’s a good theory but makes sense to me. I can certainly see the beginnings of that happening with Loki pruning himself so that he can be pruned and such
This episode was wild! I think Loki will be the key to fixing things based on the remaining trailer footage. Renslayer is in the void so she escaped the loom explosion.
I haven’t screamed this hard at the incredibly abrupt end of a TV episode since season 2 episode 7 of Attack on Titan!!!! I was expecting Victor to succeed but die as he would run back to safety, instead he was IMMEDIATELY turned into spaghetti like OB said would happen when you fall into a black hole. I like that Sylvie sent Renslayer to the Citadel at the end of time to die alone, BUT SHE SHOULD HAVE CHECKED HER FOR A TEMPAD! That or stabbed her in the gut to let her bleed out slowly, but quickly enough that she wouldn’t have screwed everything up. I did love however that that murderous clock Miss Minutes basically died in a way that looked like someone put a magnet to her hard drive.😂😂
30:24 Actually, I think Renslayer is the only one who was actually safe from what happened at the TVA because remember, Sylvie (with Brad’s body) pruned her, so she’s back at the Citadel at the End of Time. Unless that was also completely destroyed due to the Multiverse exploding. I’m not really sure how far the effects of the Loom’s destruction go.
so i've had a theory before that since pruning takes you out of physical time and space and the aura extractor pulls you to a specific moment in time. i've had a theory before that he who remains had an aura extractor in the end of time to pull all the pruned people there. Because even if renslayer was pruned by X5, she wouldnt have ended up in citadel since no one else pruned ended up there, she would have ended up only at the end of time "loop" checkpoint and would have had to face Alioth similar to the lokis. Now granted she was the one who tamed Alioth the first time around according to He Who Remains and so it might be like her lap dog that just allows her in into the citadel and then HOPE that the citadel is safe from the explosion, and that's assuming renslayer was moving fast and not slacking around...., but thats a lot of work and time to spend between her being pruned and the loom exploding. so my theory is more along the time she got pruned out of time and space, and she was NOT extracted yet. so what's kept her "essense/aura" alive is that she's NOT materialized right now. I think that viktor timely when he got shredded into all the slivers of time, it's like that scene with antman quantumania, same effect, so i wonder if the loom created a probability storm, and renslayer's aura/essense and ANGER is what mixed up with Viktor Timely's DNA and they were spread around for all time... always.
Hi Guys, You might not get this reference, but that ending had me reacting like the 10th (and upcoming 14th) Doctor. That is to say “What!?….What?!…. WHAT?!!!” 😊 If you do get the reference, great!
My thoughts are that there's a chance they can escape via the Tempad Sylvie has. Also the Victor Timely that died was from a branched timeline and he still exists on the sacred timeline. I'm just thrilled that they were able to subvert all expectations.
so does that mean that with or without the tva handbook given to him as a child, he will still be able to make the devices he invented? since ob said he learned it all from victor timely? my brain is not braining enough
@@Waynechester_ It could mean that but I don't think He Who Remains gave him a choice. It's all speculation until next week and yes my brain is fried like everyone else's
Such a great episode. Crazy death of the agents, unexpected sudden death of Victor, and then that cliffhanger just.... ahhhh! Thursday can't come soon enough
Not every Kang is evil.... Look up Iron Lad.... Also, I think this is the HARD reset Marvel needed. This now brings in the FOX and Universal characters. Explains why X-Men didn't show up in Civil War and the fight against Thanos. Allows Galactus to show up as well as allows Secret Wars to ACTUALLY be like the comics where Civil War fell short. Also, since Reed Richards is a descendant of the original Kang, makes sense they spaghettified the same way, lol
i think Key Huy Quan's OB goona be the new KANG! because he's stunts work still not yet showcased & Marvel need an actor who can fight to be KANG, that being said, await for Michelle Yeoh's Aunty Ying Nan Vs Key in the near future!
this is very funny because in Engame, Tony mentioned cannot refer to "Back to Future" said by Scott Lang BUT in this Loki Season 2, everything is a references to "Back to the Future" like the model scene & time travel plot!!!

What's worse; seeing the Minutemen being squished to death or just hearing and imagining what Renslayer (professional stern I don't give a shit look) and Miss Minutes (grinning and enjoying this look) or B15's shocked facial expression. I'd prefer what was seen by the characters facial expression then that execution anyday.
There is a possibility that Loki could send cloned illusions of himself to walk freely through this new branch of timelines and be almost nigh-omnipresent if he wants to assemble a team of Multiversal Avengers to fight Khan. They will probably defeat all of Khan's variants in Dynasty of Khan, but the result will be that the timelines will have to be destroyed and one will remain, causing the Secret Wars. These superheroes will fight at the end of time in this "secret war" unknown to all beings in the timelines similar to battleworld comics, where the result will be a new main timeline. Reboot MCU.
Wild thought...with the magical dampeners being offline does that mean all those infinity stones can now work? Maybe Casey has a paperweight in his pocket.
i think this show trys to be to smart for its own good. While season 1 surely also had some mind boggeling concepts, in many episodes in season 2 i just dont understand what the heck is going on. And i´m an veteran MCU and sify watcher...
I wonder if Kang from Quantumania will either meet with or replace Victor. They both were exposed to high amounts of time energy so maybe they're in time itself.
Its crazy how we got a horrible show like secret invasion and then Marvel has redeemed themselves with Loki! We all knew this season is gonna be great but boy that ending had me going crazy!! I wonder if they got out of there 👀
The episode was very good I was just glad and happy that that wasn't the season finale because if it left us on a cliffhanger like that I would have been pissed

I think this means that for a moment Loki was in a branched TVA, with divisions for each branch, and that this is where things are going. Each TVA division will work on their own branched timeline. That is the consequence of the loom exploding.
@The Movie Couple, 28:38 What does timeline mean to you? I'm having a hard time understanding what you're talking about since the TVA, which exists outside of the Sacred Timeline, isn't on any timeline. Timelines only exist on the Sacred Timeline and Branched Timelines. Yes, we saw the passage of time in the first episode and this one at the TVA, but it would certainly seem that that was made possible because of the residual radiation coming off the Temporal Loom, the radiation, allowed time to affect the goings on at the TVA, still, that passage of time isn't like the passage of time on any timeline as they are forever--they can experience the beginning and end of time from their vantage point. Regarding the ending, yeah, I don't any of us saw that coming! Since they have Victor's temporal aura scan, the TVA's systems likely fell into protocol checks--as Miss Minutes did at the beginning. We saw Protocol 42, but what are the other protocols? HWR had a plan for when he died, what sort of plans did he have in place for a total meltdown like this? The system reboot that was underway to kick Miss Minutes out of control turned off the dampeners preventing the use of magic, meaning the Infinity Stones work here now too and Casey told us last season that they have a lot of them at the TVA. The Time Stone could help them if they can get to one. More importantly, Loki and Sylvie can use their magic, I'm not sure of the extent of their abilities, but they have their magic to fall back on. Sylvie and Loki can survive the vacuum of space, and I'd assume radiation too seeing how Thor survived the power of a sun in Infinity War. Had Loki gone outside, he probably would have been okay. Man, I need next week to hurry up, lol.
27:05 - my theory is that they all died yes - that version of them. They could do what @cpmobil2 is suggesting, that sounds plausable - they all return to their sacred timeline-lives - although, I wouldnt mind Loki and Sylvie somehow getting everyone to remember who they are again down the road. My thought however - is that This run of Loki - also made sure, like he did before - to prune his past self, created for the first time - an OB in the TVA if you will - which as stated in ep 1 - releases him from time and space - including the yet-to-happen future. We didnt see the past future loki, or if it is the same exact events every time, and if so, it would be an endless cycle, needing to be broken - if they are destined to return to their sacred timeline lives, then past Loki should have never been pruned, but killed, or left to rot - because him returning to his timeline with no time-slipping... just ensures he makes it to ep4, to return to prune his past self over and over. I would say that a plausible breaking of events would be for Loki to, just with his luck - this time - convince Sylvie, from ep2 i think - to read his mind, rather than not to, in the McDonald's parking lot - and she would maybe see that future Lokis' death? just a thought - speed through getting Victor - and yes - send Lokis out to the loom thing - or, maybe trick Renslayer to do it, idk. A different idea would be to have them wake up, minds wiped, with a new Kang somehow - time re-wrote itself, new Kang finds a way to win the war - technically, could see the explosion as just, every possible reality - able to exist at once, for all time - always - which is ho it exists anyways - and the gang somehow escape... everything, everywhere all at once - to make the tva somewhere, a thing, at a moment outside of time and space XD. lol. But yeah, a timeline reset is more than possible instead - but yes, have it be hidden memories, and they get those back for the characters - and theyd need Timely again, or - if the timeline is reset, He who remains, should also technically return too, as he was never killed, and 19th century Kang is never needed to be activated - he realizes he doesnt ever need to do his plans, maybe - depends on how far back the reset goes.
as much as i like this episode, i did think back on the Loki scene at the end of Antman, where Loki told Mobius that Victor is the most dangerous of them all, my therory is, that scene is after the reset-wave, but i could be wrong :3

I wonder, if the TVA is intact, since the safety protocols are deactivated, maybe the various Infinitu Stones could do something?
Obie planted this in the first episode.
Take note D&D / GoT: This is how you subvert expectations! Holy shit what a good episode.
Imagine if this was the last ep of the Season 2 and not ep 4 ....... The last scene would have blown the internet . 😱😱😱
I dont know why but this is what led Loki to start time slipping. How he can use that to his advantage now I dont know.
I dont like silvies hair 😂
This was amazing!!!!!!! So many times in was staring at the tv in disbelief!!!!!! Wow!!!
The loom blowing up means all timelines just blew up there are no timelines to go back to the only way is going back to before try to do it better
I was speechless after this episode ended this one was even horrible than the finale of Season 1
I have no idea where the series is going or even what's happening next... and I like that.
Miss. Minute…s
My favorite Marvel character is Loki...
21:47
I wasn’t expecting this wow this episode all the episodes beat out she hulk and secret invasion entire season
Blame the writers and the directors who fucked up both She-Hulk and Secret Invasion series because they rushed it.
Are they dead or in The Void???
1. Renslayer is in The Void because X-5 prumed her.
2. I don't think they're dead.
26:13 we have to admit it this was really good
as much as i like this episode, i did think back on the Loki scene at the end of Antman, where Loki told Mobius that Victor is the most dangerous of them all, my therory is, that scene is after the reset-wave, but i could be wrong :3
Don’t think so. Pretty sure that was in the previous episode because he said it line for line
What a cliffhanger!!!
I think this Miss Minutes reset will lead to the creation of the Beyonder since Secret Wars is coming after the Kang Dynasty.
Who will be the actor of The Beyonder?🤷🏿♂️
@@johnsantos507 I think the MCU version will be more like Kosmos from Earth-982. As to the female actress….Tara Strong.
@@TBKingViper Wait! I thought The Beyonder was a guy.
@@johnsantos507 it’s not a male or female per se. Kosmos was a female version of the Beyonder. Panderverse.
5:01 gotta say I'm confused. If RenSlayer heard the recording then shouldn't she already know she was at the end of time?
