i think the hot cocoa scene was purely innocent; most likely the hunter didn't have any memory of having had hot cocoa before, so Victor sharing it with him was a moment of curiosity & connection between them. and then that joy got SNATCHED.

Really? I thought the finale of Loki S1 was better. So many daredevil and punisher ones aswell. This is just my opinion tho. I just found a lot of stuff done weird in this episode
I agree with the daredevil and punisher part but they’re not Disney+ original shows and I thought the plot twist, connections and the cliffhanger were 10/10 this episode and I think this kept me on my toes a lot more than the season 1 finale did but I understand where your coming from

The Timley/OB situation is a good example of a Bootstrap Paradox
It was presented in a short story by Robert Heinlein titled “By His Bootstraps,” taking inspiration from the turn of phrase “pulling themselves up by their bootstraps”
The short version is: information from the future is sent back in time to your past with the intent that at some point in the future you will send that information back into the past, meaning you complete a loop, and that information has no discernible origin point. The information has always existed to be communicated from your future to your past.
In this case; both Victor and OB claim the other originated the TVA handbook’s info.
I think the concept also works as a good metaphor for how insidious inherited wealth/resources can be. A lot of people will claim they “pulled themselves up by their bootstraps,” but neglect to mention something like an investment from their parent, or being provided free work space”
In essence: “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” means nothing because you were given the bootstraps.
There's a movie based entirely on that concept called Predestination, it's an absolute mind f**k, highly suggest a quick watch of it...

Like half the characters are the same Main Character just at different points in time, all working to create themselves to stop a problem that is themselves.
The chicken egg theory can easily be explained. Taken example of back to the future’s Johny be goode, the song will be eventually written by Chuck himself without any influence from time, so without Marty’s influences, he still got the idea and write it himself. This is called the ultimate original timeline, starting point of the loop. Then the alternate happens (time travel) that start causing the loop.

My favorite idea that I've read regarding this is He Who Remains purposefully built the loom too small so Victor would try to fix it and get turned into spaghetti right near the explosion and ends up creating the Kang variants, including the version of himself that triumphs in the war. Just to let himself die at Sylvie's hand and begin again.

Miss Minutes line "You'll never be him" got into Victors head that's why he volunteered.
Ms Minutes explained in the last episode that she's a fully conscious and sentient being, so she can be evil. They can't control her cause she has her own will. Victor Timely was clearly a good variant and I think its funny how everyone assumed he was gonna turn evil.

Im gonna throw a wild guess out there, but, hear me out now, what if they used the time stones they had collected over the years to somehow make a device, or crush the stones and weave them into a new suit, that uses the stones energy to shield them from all the radiation. I think it would be possible they should have so many time stones just laying around or hidden away in storage somewhere.

My questions is, why was it necessary to get him outside? Is it because a god would have been able to withstand the radiation? We saw Thor take on the full force of a sun's radiation in Infinity War and he survived it!
18:37 You don't remember the larger temporal aura scanner they used in season one to scan Loki? Temporal Aura scanners are the only way to know who a variant really is, looks alone are not enough. It's better than blood, DNA and finger prints, but for it to work, they need to have a living variant present.

20:31 "Timelines" don't exist outside of the Sacred Timeline--branched timelines are part of the Sacred Timeline. The TVA and the Citadel at the End of Time exist outside of time, thus not a timeline. I think the reason that the TVA was capable of experiencing time earlier because of the excess radiation coming from the temporal loom, the TVA is experiencing time dilations because of it.
20:41 The TVA was policing the Sacred Timeline, erasing Nexus points--the whole point of the TVA is to stop Nexus Points, as they create branched Timelines. He Who Remains removed himself from time so that THIS wouldn't happen again. But now that no one is watching all of time, branches are growing as they once did. Victor's variants exist on those branches! Time isn't leaner. Like branches on a tree or blades of grass, universes grow at different rates and are of different lengths, so are farther ahead and some are farther behind. Nevertheless, as we've seen with Loki's variants, or Peter Parkers they are all experiencing the same story though they are all at different stages of their lives.
Victor is likely the origin of Kang, since he's actually from the Sacred Timeline! He's also very likely responsible for the first branching universes, which likely happened when he built his first time machine and visited himself in the past. All Variants are the same and have the potential to end up in the same spot in their story, but where they are in their story will dictate how they'll act in the moment, as we saw with Sylvie during last season's finale--that was her Battle for New York Moment.
