Ya know I quit Oreilly’s last December but I do want to go back. The store in Lasalle/Peru #1233 was awesome. The manager didn’t really care and it was such a laid back job. Even raced the manager home lol.
Hey 👋 I know you posted this two years ago but, I’m about to go in any quick tips you could give a guy about the store
Go in and work for them*
Not the laselle peru store but
@@galensalatino7287 keep the inventory in check. My store I worked at said in the computers that we had 3 of one thing but really only had 1. Also step up and help other team members work easier and not harder. It’s a easy job once you get involved in it. I had the chance to run two different stores or become assistant manager at the store I worked for. I walked out on the manager one day and quit and that has screwed me for probably never getting my job back unfortunately because I’d go back in a heartbeat if I could.
I quit autozone 5 years ago and I still regret it. Now my arrangements have changed and I'm moving on to a second interview at O'reilly's soon. When I was a young wretch with my first car I lived a few blocks down from o'reilly's, and was a regular customer.
When I worked at AutoZone, I used to hear people say they liked AutoZone better all the time. Maybe that's changing to O'reilly's soon. Different strokes huh.
I always use O'reillys if I can. I know the staff does go thru bad times. I got stuck in line behind a guy that had bought some expensive part. He called and said it didn't fit and was told he could have a refund. His argument was he wasn't told to bring the old one back on the phone, so he wanted his money back with no return. The poor kid was on the phone trying to relay messages back and forth. The buyer whipped out a business card saying he was a "private investigator" and said "don't make me investigate this"
Another guy came to the counter and rang me out. They were still arguing when I left. Total BS and scam, but that's what happens at times.
Came to Pasadena California in 1956 , never heard of O'Reilly or had the opportunity to visit one . Ever auto parts store has it's pros and cons. I understand with so many models the stores can't stock everything .

GOD bless you all in the name of JESUS CHRIST and may his HOLY SPIRIT guide you all. Amen. John 3:16, Matthew 24, 1 Thessalonians 5:3, Revelation 22:20
ok
They suck, no cashiers so you just can't pay until you wait for the parts the counter to clear which can take forever, go to Walmart instead.
berglen100 Walmart stuff is crap. Order after market parts
Too many meth heads at Walmart...lol
Yeah jack nobody wants to go to methmarket for a part when it will fail in 2 days. Maybe that’s why your car runs like shit?
This company sucks period
