I've been curious as i watch your videos as not familiar with the systems but I'm assuming its a gas and brake pedal akin to a car to drive the tram? Always enjoy your vids, good relaxing content after a days work!
Curioso é o que se dá com os trilhos ... antigamente e ainda hoje ( como por exemplo acontece com os tram's de Lisboa, Portugal ), quem estivesse dirigindo o tram e devia desviar para outra direção, tinha que manejar manualmente o trilho e mudá-lo de direção, ou para a esquerda ou para a direita. Os tram's da Holanda não necessitam disso. Parece que a coisa é accionada através de algum dispositivo eletrônico que faz o cambio nos trilhos.
Line 2 and 17 are probably my favorites. 2 is nice because it is quite relaxed to drive and it goes through the tunnel (which I find cool). 17 is a beautiful line going through the narrow streets of the city center and some of the wealthiest neighborhoods of the city.

Voor mn gevoel reageer je vrij laat op 3:55 op de voetganger achter de RegioCitadis, en dan ook vrij heftig, alsof je in 1x je voet op de rem zet. En dat terwijl het heel voorspelbaar was dat daar iemand achter zal oversteken, op 3:48 was de voetganger al zichtbaar, maar toen was je afgeleid door het raam te openen links van je. Zo zie je maar hoe belangrijk het is continu de aandacht er bij te hebben.
Hij was al aan het remmen voordat hij bij citadis dit zie je wellicht niet maar je hoort het aan de tractie motoren. Op het moment dat hij haar zag reed hij al rond de 30 wat prima is aangezien je met 25 door een halte mag. Het kan zo zijn dat hij uit schrikreactie iets harde bij remde waar door de wagen ging slippen. Ik rij zelf ook avenio en citadis en het spoor daar is wat gladder. Mijn collega heeft prima gehandeld

It looks like these light rail lines were originally built as heavy rail?
Line 3/4 (between laan van noi and leidscheveen) were coverted to lightrail (tram and metro) in 2005

Would it be better if the level crossings had gates installed so that vehicles and pedestrians don’t run in front of your tram
