The tactility of an analog camera is a pretty big reason i invested in Fujifilm for digital photography. (the X-T4 in this case.) There's nothing bad about a Sony A7 or Canon R5 (they've easily proven their worth after all) but the experience of using those just wasn't quite as good feeling thanks to Fuji making use of dials for SS and ISO, and an aperture ring on most of their lenses. Everyone on YT seems to say that there's "Something about a Fujifilm camera." (Usually in reference to the X100V) and i can happily agree. That said, i still enjoy film more than anything. i really wanna try medium format soon.
Nice!! I have only heard great things about Fujifilm cameras as well and I see they've been incredibly popular options for people that also enjoy film photography! I must say I'm incredibly interested to try either the x100 or gfx system in the future :) Yes, film has been so fun to shoot for me as well, I've had a Canon 6d for years now, and never really had much interest to go out and shoot, but as soon as I got my Bronica ETRSi, I look forward to taking it out with me! You definitely should!! I got into medium format specifically for the modular camera bodies and Waist level finder options and it does not disappoint!

I started shooting film in late august ! It’s been a blast! Started with a 35mm film camera and now cause of you I picked up a broica etrsi camera literally two weeks ago and I love it! Before that I have a Rollieflex . Shooting film has been so much fun and I shoot often with my girlfriend and it’s Just fun being creative and big risks but when you get that right frame and shot the reward is so worth it !

I like the film „look“ a lot, but for me it is too expensive. So my way is to create the feeling is to shot with the fuji x100v or an old analog lens on a mirrorless cam. I know its 100% not the same and it will never look like real film but its the right way for me. Thanks Vic for ur Video ✌🏻
Hey Fabian! I agree, it's definitely quite an expensive process, and film prices are only getting higher unfortunately. That sounds like a great workflow, I've seen some really great film simulations on fujifilm cameras, and yes the vintage lenses can really contribute to adding that great film look! I definitely want to give a fuji a try in the future whether that be an x100 series or gfx series :) Of course and thank you for watching! 🙌
I like film for all of the same reasons and then some. This may only apply to me but I find that film does a better job of capturing and conveying the emotion of the scenes that I photograph (mainly landscapes). I can't quite put a finger on why this is-it just is.
I definitely agree with you on that!! Idk what it is either, but I definitely do feel like film adds an extra element to the photos, and some landscapes can almost feel like paintings to me!
Same for me, but for me, I think it's because we are totally in the moment or the scene. With film, I take photo slower, I focus on the scene or moment that I want to capture more than the camera itself. Idk why, when I shot digitally, I focus only on the camera and the result it gives, shoot rapidly even tho it's a landscape, scroll through the result, not satisfied with the result, and do the whole thing again. But with film cameras, I take the photo once or twice and am done, and I'm back to observing and enjoying the moment or the scene.

I think not being able to look at the photos right away as compared to digital, it takes us away from that hyperfocusing, you take the photo and enjoy the scene! That actually happened to me yesterday, I was shooting and take a shot of my girlfriend and once I got the frame, I put my film camera away and just enjoyed the moment :)

I got into film for the “medium format look” or large sensor look. But when I got my GFX, I barely shoot with my Hasselblad anymore.
