Ouuuuu........hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah........amen, amen,amen..... Ye-egziabhire legi "Jesus christ " yebarik. How a wonderful revelation! Howw wonderful teaching! What a truth, I never understood in this way ever before. Wengelawi Yared, I always honered and blessing GOD, to having you.
I thank God through Christ about your timely effort in bring this truth to God’s people. I went through all the lessons of Hebrews what has been presented there depicted the beautiful works of Christ as a High Priest. Understanding the messages in the book of Hebrews literally take the believers through the veil into the holy of holies where Christ is officiating the segment of His saving work before He removes His Priesthood clothes and puts on His Kingly Robe for the second coming. But Hebrews 9:22,23 made to revisit the shadow lesson given through the earthly sanctuary and found these phrases: the day of atonement and afflict your souls. So, few verses came to my mind from the Old and New Testaments, here they are.....
I thank the Father though Christ about you again and again!!! For a very long time, I have been waiting a spirit filled teacher on the area of Hebrews, Romans and Corinthians. Finally, the time has come for me to feast on timely messages on these books. I am greatly indebted for the service that you are rendering. The writer of Hebrews tells that "...it was necessary for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these." Heb 9:23. This verses has been for a very long time was like a splinter in my mind. I had no courage to accept it for what it says. It is says that the fixtures in the true sanctuary which is in heaven requires to be purged. But purge out of what? nothing else but exactly from what the earthly sanctuary used to be cleansed, sin. Naturally, the follow up question would be how in the world the heavenly sanctuary is defiled by sin? The answer to this question requires a study by itself; however, I would like to put my question in the form of discussion. So, how did our sin transferred to the heavenly sanctuary? How and when does the cleansing process begins? At least to see the transferring of sin in the type, it was done through the blood of the sacrificial lamb as a sin offering. When a penitent believer bring a sin offering for the sin he has committed, the lamb would be slaughtered and its blood would be taken by the priest and sprinkled on the curtain (symbolizing as the flesh of Christ) that divides the holy and the holiest. This process lets the sinner temporarily free from being accused till the day of atonement. In the same way, what was practiced in the earthly sanctuary, it will be performed in the same manner in the heavenly sanctuary. As question giving birth to another question, at this point it is imperative to ask what the curtain on earthly sanctuary would represent in the heavenly? This question will lead us to investigate Daniel 7:9,10,13 and 14. in here, we see in verse 10 in which the book of record opened in which the sin of the penitent believers are recorded, just like the curtain on the earthly sanctuary.
Dear Evangelist Yared, God bless you . I really enjoyed the video. But I have some questions, I hope you will help me to get the truth. " For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins." (Hebrews 10: 4) Why can't the blood of bulls and of goats take away sins? ( difference between blood of Jesus and these animals' blood) And the second question is the people in the old testament were sacrificing animals which cannot take away their sin, so how could they be saved, as blood of Jesus was not shed by their time? God bless you!
....continued from my previous comment. While l was listen your message, l paid close attention to these two phrases: the day atonement and the affliction souls. It seems these two things are inseparable in the setting of a sanctuary whether in the copy or in the original sanctuary. I saw a beautiful truth you pulled out from what has transpired on the cross. We see Christ on the cross presenting His body as an ultimate sacrifice through the eternal Spirit, where the sacrifice and the presenter is One! I am okay up to that point but it requires a little bit of explanation after He left to His Father. We see that after the cross, He enters into heaven to finish the rest the segment of the day of atonement which He has started on the cross. Right? This thought is supported by Hebrews 9:22,23, which talks about the cleansing of the fixtures in heavenly sanctuary which appears to be defiled by existence of non other than sin, just like in the shadow (earthly sanctuary). Here is where the affliction of souls becomes problematic. We have already ascertained that Christ, our High priest went to heaven (Heb 9:24) to finish the rest of the segment of the day of atonement (Matt 10:32,33). If this is the case, how do we, as believers afflict our souls, for the shadow(type) to meet the antitype? Could you say more in this area? Thank you!!!
God never left His people without a guiding light since the fall of man. In fact, if the people of God are destroyed, it is because of their rejection timely truth for that generation, for it says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that you shall be no priest to me:......” Hosea 4:6 KJV Hence, it is not God refused to give us our timely food (present truth) rather we refused to eat when it is made available. I went ahead listened again the study on Hebrews 9. It says “And almost ALL THINGS are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. It was THEREFORE necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.” Hebrews 9:22-23 KJV When it says “The heavenly things” that must be cleaned by a better blood than Abel is definitely talking the fixture of the sanctuary, right? If so, then what must be cleansed in the heavenly sanctuary must be the fixtures. But what are the fixtures in the heavenly sanctuary? The service in the shadow or the service in the copy tells the story which fixture would be subjected for cleansing, almost everything except the glory of God that appears on the mercy seat (Exodus 25:22). So, what are the the things considered fixtures that required to be purged by the law: the things in the holy, the veil and holy of holies. What has defiled these fixtures, nothing else but the bringing of the sun through the blood of sin offering. If the fixtures on earthly sanctuary defiled sin the same must have happened with the heavenly, right? What are the fixture of the heavenly? Let see the following verses: Daniel 7:9,10,13,14; Revelation 4:5; 8:3; 11:19 (these verses talk about the books (veil), the candlestick, the golden altar and the ark of testament). These are almost the similar fixtures found in the earthly as well as the heavenly. When l listened part 31, you seemed that cleansing is done from the mind of God, which is not part of the fixture of the sanctuary. Could you elaborate more on it?
The following verses depicts Christ as an High Priest and His work in the heavenly sanctuary. Let’s read the first one, it says “Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do YOUR WILL, O God.”......By the which WILL we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all......But this man, after he had offered ONE SACRIFICE for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;” Hebrews 10:7,10,12 KJV. And the other verse says “Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a MERCIFUL and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make RECONCILIATION FOR THE SIN OF THE PEOPLE. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.” Hebrews 2:17-18 KJV. And the next one says, “My little children, these things write I unto you, that you sin not. And IF ANY MAN SIN, we have an ADVOCATE WITH THE FATHER, Jesus Christ the righteous:” 1 John 2:1 KJV And still another one says “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall FALL AWAY, to RENEW them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.” Hence, falling away and renewal are two inseparable process even in the Melchizedek Priesthood. Though the sacrifice was done once and for all, it would only cleanse the conscience worshiper provided that the worshiper continues to be sanctified in it. In the same way, our sanctification process is a continual and progressive one which takes a space of time rather than a one-time deal like the sacrifice. This is indicative of the work of Christ as a High Priest in the day of atonement is an extended one comparing to the earthly one as it includes the dead’s and the livings. So, my point is that in Aaronic priesthood, the day of atonement was just a single day; however, in Melchizedek Priesthood, the day of atonement is the service that has started when Christ entered into the holy of holies and will continue in the future till He leaves the most holy place. Hebrews 9:22,23 are a proof that His service as a High Priest would cover a space of time rather than a single day as it was in the type.
Amen praise God
