Question: Our home is unencumbered. She filed for an order of protection first, sobbed in court, and I got ejected for 1 year. The year passed, and the judge let the order expire. However, he also gave her exclusive possession of the home during the divorce proceedings. The divorce hearing is 2 months away. In the meantime, my wife and I have made it clear that neither of us wishes to sell or move out of the marital home. But my wife is adamant that she does not want me to return ever. We have a 15 y/o son. My suggestion has been that I stay in my apartment, but that she lends me $100K using my share of the home as collateral. But now, she is refusing to borrow money from her very wealthy parents. So, I really do not know what she wants, except that I think she's delusional that she will somehow receive the entire home. However, the judge has twice said that he will force the sale of the home if we cannot come to an agreement. If the judge rules that the home will be sold, I think she and her family may panic and offer to buy me out. How will the judge rule in your opinion?
The people at these courts in massachusetts go off of personal judgment and don't care about facts. I hate massachusetts and the probate court here is horrible.only the children suffer what a broken system.
The worst court system, very easy for narcissistic parents to get custody, since it's not clear what's "best for the child". Thousands of families per year are damaged by the same court system in Norway. It's not based on the law and facts, but on manipulators description
