I have always been a huge fan of his since watching him on the heirs and I am happy he's recovered and back in kdrama land. He is such a talented actor and I wish the best for him in the future
I feel that its not Just Kim Woo Bin who stayed strong and got through this but Shin Min Ah played an equally mature role in handling the situation. People generally don't help each other even if they are close but she did accounting for the fact that she accompanied him to the hospital and remained positive about the situation. Theyre literally the definition of a perfect mature couple.
She also took a break from working as an actress to support him during his time of treatment. She is supportive and so much more. She didn't hesitate to sacrifice her own career and commit her entire self to him so he can get well. What a testament to who she is and what they are as a couple. ❤

Black Knight was an amazing series! Let’s hope there’s a sequel, already!! Like as quickly as possible.
Woo Bin portrayed his character brilliantly, as did the other actors. His character in Our Blues was so different, yet he paid full justice to both.

@@IntoxicatedGhost1 Hmm - I see from your comments that you don’t score the series highly … but even if you can’t see the need or potential for a sequel, perhaps their writers and creative directors could see opportunities. Black Knight didn’t end with the world a-right and the drought, desolation and shortages completely tackled. Writers could easily create more crises there to contend with. There’s scope there for more baddies to be baddies and heroes to be heroes!
I've been a huge fan of Kim Woobin since 'The Heirs' and 'Twenty' He has always been an amazing actor and also a humble human being. Above everything, what i'm most grateful and relieved for is that he found Shin Min-ah. I came to know her from 'My girlfriend is a gumiho' era. When i found out that they both were dating, i couldn't be more happier. They're like the best versions of each other. Till this day, i respect her for staying by his side and most importantly taking a break from her career too along with Woobin. Not everyone has the courage and heart to do that. I wish nothing but happiness for both of them.

As.a k-drama enthusiast, I have seen Kim Woo-bin's work and he's definitely one of my favorite actors, Korean or otherwise. So glad to see that he's in good health, with a great support system. A lot of people don't have someone who would care enough to stand by them through illness. Looking forward to seeing more of his work.

It infuriated me that the director and producers of Black Knight had Woo Bin's character smoke after what he had been through. I can't see how this added anything useful to the character but it did endanger his life and those of anyone who might be influenced by the character.
They usually use harmless fake cigarettes when filming movies and shows.

I think he is a great actor and seems to be a great person as well. I am happy that he is well now, no one should have to be dealing with that nasty illness. One thing that got me shocked was that (even if it was just for one scene, or whatever) he had to play the roll as a smoker. They shouldn’t make him do that, since he had nose and throat cancer. I was kind of disappointed with that.

I have been a fan of KWB science school 2013 ( still my favourite k drama). KWB is a fabulous actor who can manipulate his audience , in Heirs and in School2913, he was the bad ass who everyone hates, then sympathies with, and finally loves. Now I know that is a role written by the script writers, however, it is the actor who brings the character to life and projects the emotions- KWB does this in spades.
SMA , I haven’t seen her acting in many dramas, only “My Girlfriend is a Gemini”. None the less she has my vote because she is a kind, caring and loving person, who deserves my respect.
I am so happy that KWB is a survivor. I wish them both well.

@@TheProudWife515 would of like the show have taken place the moment when the world got hit and made it an actual survival show..building that place in 40 years while the earth is like that is just not possible. They should of kept it simple
