Try moisturizing and Moisturizing then color correcting, eyeshadow primer, concealer in a slightly darker shade than your skin, next a thinner consistency concealer to brighten, last light dusting of powder. Less is more with each layer. Hope you try this.
I love that you're embracing the nature of your face. As someone who has had dark circles since I was a child it's refreshing to see someone who isn't trying to entirely cover up all signs of life in their base routine
This concealer look really speaks to me. The more concealer I use, the worse my under eye area looks. In fact, it looks worse than when I am not wearing any concealer. I would much rather have my under eyes look less flat and perfected, than covered in makeup. Thank you for this video!
I had to learn to "like" my undereye hollows too. Apparently can be an attractive sexy trait and is symbolic with empathy to others. Gina Shkeda (underrated stunner) is so underrated as well with her style and way of seeing herself. She embraces her undereye shadows and even amplifies it at times which is a great example. Now I only cover up the darkness of a bad night's sleep. I leave my genetic darkness, because it's just my face. :) And there's nothing wrong with that.

I agree and notice because she talks about her 'man hands' and I always say, "What???" because they look great. I saw Dalidollface with inch long claws and just cringed. I thought she was going to gouge her eye out. It's not a pretty look.
Tried this technique today. It works!!! I’m 38 with lifelong extreme dark circles and deep tear troughs. Short of getting filler (not gonna do), I thought I had tried every product and was resigned to not being able to cover much now that I have borderline mature under-eye skin. Thanks to you and Wayne, my under eyes look amazing for the first time in a very long time and best of all, I didn’t need to buy anything new. THANK YOU.
Totally agree. But it has to be the legions of 10 year olds that follow them. I was never too sure about this but my 10 year old that loves trying makeup tutorials thinks JC is the end all be all & does not understand why I don’t feel the same. 🤦🏻♀️
part of James' brand is entertainment. they're light hearted and energetic to showcase makeup as a fun hobby. alexandra's videos are purely instructional. it doesn't really make sense to compare them.
Thank you for posting about how your skin has changed. I have many of my own challenges with how my skin has changed as I have aged. Your video has addressed many of those and I am excited to try these techniques on myself! Our skin and face shape are similar in many ways, which makes your videos feel very tailored to my challenges. Thanks again beautiful!
And I'm sorry I love her and usually love every makeup style she does.., but unless this is for an occasion .... It's awful. I'm so over the way way way over done eye makeup looks . It's heavy and unconformable too wear. She's beautiful still and everyone style is different it's jmo and I'm nobody so who cares what I think anyways😁
Well, I tried this and IT WORKS!!! my dry aging under eye skin appreciate this technique 👌 And it held up for hours, when I look up in the mirror just before washing up my makeup, still didn't crease. Thank you Alex, and Wayne Goss!❤
embrace the darkness! maybe i’m just weird but i find that i’m drawn to eyes with a little extra shadow and “baggage”, lol. (think lizzy caplan and mila kunis). they’re just more mysterious and sexy to me for some reason...
Wayne Goss’s concealer tricks are GOLD. There are some peach tinted setting powders that I’ve used verrryyy lightly over regular setting powder to deal with the little bit of the cast. Bobbi Brown has one. I’ve done this routine with a teeny bit of light satin foundation powder on top to add more coverage as well, as you’ve done in one of your videos. If I end up with too much powder after knocking of the excess, I spritz over it with a moisturizing facial spray and it’s chefs kiss perfect
I have recently been watching Wayne Goss tutorials. I'm 46 and I've started noticing that my usual techniques are looking terrible with my more mature skin. So I've been on the hunt for some good advice and tutorials. Which is how I stumbled across his videos. Thank you for trying out his technique and sharing it!! I feel much more confident to give it a go! BTW, I love your honesty and your videos. 😉
This 100%! A few years ago I ran out of concealer and used eyeshadow primer to cover my dark circles instead, and I’ve never looked back. Despite that I sweat a lot at work, live in the tropics, and smile/laugh heaps, eye cream + primer + powder stays perfect all day. I’m lucky my primer matches my skin really well though. Thanks for explaining how it works and sharing your ideas. Great video, gorgeous!
girl THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I cannot tell y’all how nervous i was when she was saying what type of concealer works best because i never have the “right” makeup, but then she literally held up the EXACT concealer I have and it made me so happy🥺❤️
@@AlexandraAnele i'm 19 and when i first saw you I assumed you were the same age! i heard you speak and you were just way more mature so i figured mid-twenties max. never would've guessed 30 (not that that's too far off from mid twenties lol)
I used this method today and it did work really well. I'm 48 and I'm never happy with the look of my under eye concealer just lately - it does tend to crease or look a bit patchy/flaky after a while. However, using this method it looked better from the outset and looked pretty good after I'd been shopping and wearing a mask. I didn't have any face powder and it still lasted well, so it gets a thumbs up from me.

I saw Dalidollface with inch long claws and just cringed. I thought she was going to gouge her eye out. It's not a pretty look.
Beautifully natural!
It’s nice seeing someone with shorter nails. Neat and natural looking while still well maintained.
“I’m just trying to get this even” as she taps her ring fingers together is literally me every day putting on product for my eyes 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wayne is a freaking god. Period.
He just has a good and effective trick for everything when it comes to makeup, I love him
Tried this technique today. THANK YOU.
I love Wayne, simple and effective tips. You, Wayne, and Jaime French are the only beauty peeps I watch
WANYE? RELATED TO KANYE?
God dammit 😂 Thank you for pointing that out
From now on, he will forever be WANYE GOSS!
That’s literally what I’m gonna call him from now on and I’ll know the people who get it were the true early birds 😂😘
😂😂😂
Oh no
How does she not have 5 million subs already?? more of this and less js, james charles etc...PLEASEE
Totally agree. But it has to be the legions of 10 year olds that follow them. I was never too sure about this but my 10 year old that loves trying makeup tutorials thinks JC is the end all be all & does not understand why I don’t feel the same. 🤦🏻♀️
What a judgemental thing to say
@@tishjanuary7379 I swear UA-cam is mostly children so I bet that's why such big ppl have mostly children audiences
@@person7407 how?? They thrive on drama constantly, they are bad rolemodels and not even that talented ....ijs
part of James' brand is entertainment. they're light hearted and energetic to showcase makeup as a fun hobby. alexandra's videos are purely instructional. it doesn't really make sense to compare them.
I also don’t get how Wayne Goss isn’t more talked about! I love his content and tips and tricks!! Love this
YES!!! IM NOT WEIRD!!! I do the same exact finger thing with my eye cream because, yes, they DO have to be even!
You and I are dark circle sisters. I feel you every time you discuss this. I’m super pale and my circles are super dark, therefore LOVE your tips ❤️
I'm living for the ear piercing and the cuffs everything looks stunning on you with that black shirt oh my God
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
😭 Thank you love 🙏🏼❤️
@@AlexandraAnele Where do you get all your earrings? Love them all, especially in combination with each other!
@@evilxcookie2 Her last video, “Lash placement” she mentions them I think. Half are from Etsy.9
Whenever I'm in doubt, I search through Wayne's videos. He has the answer for everything!!!!!!
"my make up is morphing more natural" she said with cirque du soleil eye makeup. lol!
And I'm sorry I love her and usually love every makeup style she does.., but unless this is for an occasion .... It's awful.
I'm so over the way way way over done eye makeup looks .
It's heavy and unconformable too wear.
She's beautiful still and everyone style is different it's jmo and I'm nobody so who cares what I think anyways😁
the quality of your camera is insane & so satisfying
I adore Wayne. And what are the chances this popped up as I’m sitting here cursing my lil lines and feeling 90 at 31. 😩
It’s like you just...know
Love Wayne Goss!! He's so darling and he really knows his stuff.
Well, I tried this and IT WORKS!!!
my dry aging under eye skin appreciate this technique 👌
And it held up for hours, when I look up in the mirror just before washing up my makeup, still didn't crease.
Thank you Alex, and Wayne Goss!❤
I like how her video title doesnt keep us obnoxiously curious. I love that she told us the result.
The crossover I didn't know I needed in my life 🥺❤️
I was just watching a Wayne Goss video about concealer and this notification came! Thanks for uploading and helping me know even more! Love you!❤️

Yes, look at Jeffrey Star.

😆😆😆 damn, that's cold.
Embracing where your body is, while simultaneously caring about looking your personal best. You're doing great. And thanks for the tips
Dude this is like … the MOST natural makeup I’ve ever seen holy wow. So good!!! Looks like your skin that’s insane
embrace the darkness! maybe i’m just weird but i find that i’m drawn to eyes with a little extra shadow and “baggage”, lol. (think lizzy caplan and mila kunis). they’re just more mysterious and sexy to me for some reason...
Yes, it needs to be a trend
@@ojyochan It kinda is at least in the alternative community lol. I've seen a bunch of people use eyeshadow to have the dark under eye look.
It really adds depth to the eyes!
I love how you start each video with a very unimpressed "hey" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😘😘😘😘😘
😂❤️
It doesn’t even look like you’re wearing makeup
Wayne Goss’s concealer tricks are GOLD. There are some peach tinted setting powders that I’ve used verrryyy lightly over regular setting powder to deal with the little bit of the cast. Bobbi Brown has one. I’ve done this routine with a teeny bit of light satin foundation powder on top to add more coverage as well, as you’ve done in one of your videos. If I end up with too much powder after knocking of the excess, I spritz over it with a moisturizing facial spray and it’s chefs kiss perfect
Wayne is the first male MUA I started watching. I LOVE HIM!!!
I was making the facial expressions along with you involuntarily 😂😂😂
I do that too! 😂😂😂
I really felt that "I just look like one of those people who doesn't have dark circles" chuckle
The video has barely started and I just liked it, cause you always give quality content! I love youuu
😭 Thank you Cindy 🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️
I wish everyone just got to the point as quickly as you. Myself included 😂
I actually love that there was no intro and she got straight into things
Wayne Goss is amazing. Very "a matter of fact" & down to Earth. He is a pleasure to watch. Wayne is always educational and informative
Man Wayne Goss taught me everything I know. I remember watching him when I first started watching makeup videos. He's AMAZINGLY underrated
I've always used UD eyeshadow primer around my entire eye area I'm glad I was doing something right 😁 i also put it on my smile lines 🙃
Omg does it work well on smile lines?! I never thought of this... genius!!!!
@@lydias6335 the creasing in my my smile lines has gotten significantly better sometimes no creasing at all. I do also set my primer.
Oh my gosh!!! I’ve been searching for this very answer. Thank you!!!!! Also, I freaking love love love your eyeshadow 😍
I love her. She just gets to the point.
has this method been working well?
You can’t be 30. I’m 24 and look like I could be your grandma.
😂😂😂 Not possible
@@AlexandraAnele Yes it is, I'm 20 and I agree wth
Sleep is everything gurl
@@AlexandraAnele i'm 19 and when i first saw you I assumed you were the same age! i heard you speak and you were just way more mature so i figured mid-twenties max. never would've guessed 30 (not that that's too far off from mid twenties lol)
Why y’all acting like 30 is old 😭😭😭it’s what I’m coming up on fml
Best application & results I’ve seen out of many videos!! Thx!!
Can we get a full extreme high glam look from you please? 😩 & I mean BEAAAAT lol
😂 I've been feeling this lately, we shall see 🤔😘
Wayne really is one of the OGs
I'm turning 34 this month, I nailed my under eye routine and now the texture has moved to the inner corner of my upper lids. It never ends, man!
His latest video about where to apply even made this process better!! I love Wayne he deserves so much more credit!!!!! 💕💕💕💕💕💕
I love Wayne! He was the UA-camr that taught me how to do my makeup. I use all of the techniques he taught me to this day.
