This place and history is beautiful and beautifully shot and edited! It's like a film for someone I 've been a fan of since I was a kid.. even got in trouble singing My Ding A Ling in elementary school lol! At least not at home because they knew it and that I listened to my grandma's Chuck and Elvis records. 😀 Great collection brings back so many memories.. wow.😊 Thank you all!
This guy is a legend himself and what a collection he has WOW. It would be too cool to have a few drinks with him and listen to his stories. I'd like to thank him for all he has done to preserve history and share it. They'll never be another Chuck Berry not now, not ever. Thanks for doing all that you two do I'll be donating soon. God Bless
I like this guy so much, Chucks best friend. What a sweet guy to show you around like that. I live here in St. Louis I ought to go down there. I went and took a picture of Chucks statue after he died.
My best friend Mikhail, who made the Chuck Berry statue on Delmar passed away unexpectedly last Monday. He was a sculptor, a ballet dancer, artist, the life of the party, and a great father. He would’ve been tickled to see this on your channel. Love ya guys ❤️
I’m from U.K. London , I have friends in St. Louis and stayed many times , Delmar is awesome and been in the record store , I will always bleed blue and St. Louis is so so dear to my heart
I live in Canada but next trip to the US this is definitely a priority. I would love to see Blueberry Hill. What a fascinating place, I’d love to tour the whole city. Chuck Berry was my idol from when I was a child. I wish I could have seen him perform
Hey, my neighborhood! I live in that area just off Delmar, right behind that Starbucks, Fitz’s and Chuck Berry! The Loop is a super cool area, glad you got a chance to visit! 😃
This by far is absolutely one of your top 10 best videos!!!. I love the rich history and I enjoy seeing the statue and more!. Important I love the fact that you are bringing this to your fans thank you so much! ❤️🌹❤️
I have always loved Chuck Berry, great musician and talent, what a collection this fellow 😍 has, what a great life, I collect cat things anything cat so I understand his passion, I have collected all my life, would love to build a display case to have my glass things in
I’m so glad I found your channel! I love your videos and enjoy seeing all the sights that you see. Thank you! Love all the history of chuck berry, it was great!
Much love and respect always from Australia!! Thanks for sharing, knew little bout Chuck Berry prior to this and left after not only knowing more bout him but feeling the true spirit and energy of the owner and venue, Blueberry Hill. This gentleman reveals himself to be an amazing man, friend, fan, historian and custodian of some of Rock n Rolls earliest days. ❤✌💯
There was so much love in this video. I appreciate how much you do in telling the story of these people and places, not just showing us where an attraction is and moving on.
BUCKET LIST! Godamn that was a fantastically edited and moving video, I'm seriously putting Blueberry Hill on my bucket list. I literally have a lump in my throat, thanks guys for brightning up my day.
Yeah, this one was extra special. This is definitely where the Ghosts of St Louis go to congregate, whoop it up and raise the double hockey sticks 🔥🔥🔥 👻
OMG! That place is phenomenal. Rock 'N Roll heaven for a person like me who is a Music Historian. I need to go and pay my respects. Just amazing. Thank you guys for posting this vlog. LONG LIVE ROCK!
You guys make very good and interesting videos. I’ve just found your channel and I’ve watched loads of your videos already and I’m looking forward to watching the rest. You’ve got a lot cool sights to explore there. Certainly a lot more than we have in the UK. Keep up the great work guys.
Totally loved this video, definitely a Chuck Berry fan. I am always into good blues and rock music. Pretty sad that so many of the greats have passed away, so happy Buddy Guy is still active and making good music
Great video! Joe Edwards, having worked with him on a couple past projects is a super nice guy who happens to own just about all the Delmar Loop! It's awesome you included him in this video, as he'll tell you just about anything you want to know. His celebrity gallery is something else. I saw Chuck 3 times in the Duck Room, and twice at The Pageant down the road. Was very lucky to shake his hand and say a few words to him. In his later years, Mr. Berry was spotted at local casinos just chilling and playing slots. He was like an everyday guy who just happened to have songs covered by the Beatles, Beach Boys, the Dead and others. Next time you're in STL, I'll be watching for you. Glad you enjoyed your stay in the city.
Wow I really enjoyed this video. Blueberry Hill is amazing. I enjoyed seeing all the pictures and everything that man collected. It was absolutely awesome. Thank you for doing this video so we can see what you see. It's absolutely breathtaking
What a cool dude. His down to earth personality is why he, his business, and his friendships are so successful. I'd bet you, Mike and Jessica, that he'd talk to you for days. Very cool interview and tour of this place. Thanks.
Blueberry Hill is my favorite haunt in STL. Joe is a great guy - very down to earth. If you want to say hi, he often grabs lunch there at the end of the bar (say hi, but let him eat!). Thank you for this video - so good. You two are a treasure yourselves. Keep on truckin'
If you’re in the KC area, consider visiting 18th & Vine Jazz District where you will find the American Jazz Museum, and the Blue Room. There’s a TON of history, including some remaining setting for the movie “Kansas City.” Best wishes from Kansas. 🌻🎶🖤
What an amazing place! I live only a couple of hours away.. I grew up listening to Chuck Berry.. and Blueberry Hill was one of my fav.... I grew up in Upstate New York.. And every summer my mother, grandmother and I picked blueberries on... Blueberry Hill... not far from where we lived.. it was state land civered with wild blueberry bushes!
Wow guys, I thought your video about Robert Johnson was great but this one tops them all. I was very young hearing Chuck Berry on my sister turntable and all the other greats from that era. Chess Records, blues and rock n roll, so many memories for me with this video. Joe Edwards has met the most important people in the world that literary change music, first man on the moon, etc., are you kidding me !!!! Bravo on this video !!! P.S. A&W Root Beer is not to bad either but I don't know if they are around anymore.
The owner of blueberry hill..wow the duck room you created is Uh-mazing. Absolutely awesome job on the duck room. This place is definitely on my list of things to do and places to visit when I go there. You must be so proud.
So was my parents they were in their teens like if you went back to the future like the movie you'll see my parents as teenagers 😊 but really they were and the music I learn to hear of the kind they rock to.
Blue Berry Hill is certainly a place I will visit, if I ever get up that way... Chuck Berry was the man, in the early days of Rock N Roll---- too much of a legend, but good!... The owner's collection is not only extensive, but the public can see it as well...WoW, what a deal!... Thanks, again, GriMMs for taking us along... Hail, Hail RoCK N RoLL!!!!..... :^)""""""""""

The owner of Blueberry Hill has an amazing collection. The Delmar Loop (the Loop is what the locals call it) is a great place to visit in general. I have not been in years. Growing up in STL, I have a few cousins that live around the corner from the Loop and one summer, we would hang out there almost every weekend.
I was born one day before the moon-landing (19 July 1969). My mother said that she was holding me in her hospital room while she watched the televised coverage.
That was an awesome!! Video. Chuck Berry is an icon hands down. Amazing rock n roll legend. Thank you for doing this piece on him and that place blue berry hill was it? Fantastic to see all the memorabilia he had inside. Such memories 🎃❤️
Thank you for coming here and showing some great history of St. Louis. I lived here my whole life and didn't know about Vincent Price or where he or his parents even lived. I'll have to pay a visit to his parents' grave. I really enjoyed the St. Louis Vlogs. Thank you so much, and as always , Happy Halloween 🎃
I love what you two have accomplished together. Your channel is amazing and I'm a huge fan. Thanks for covering Chuck. His music was very influential and instrumental in creating rock and roll. Pun intended. Thank you both and be safe. Hope to see you in the Philadelphia area soon.

Next time you come into town go to Lemp Mansion, the Fox Theater, the Peabody Opera house, the Bissel Mansion, Zombie road. I'm sure Jessica filled you in on these since she is a native.
Chuck berry was a flawed person with a lot of demons but man, he sure did leave a mark eh? The duck room is one of my favorite places for music as a patron and a musician. The green room is just setup for people who've been on the road a while with showers and everything! Now, I might be a bit camera shy in there but if I were a stinky drummer after weeks in a van, i'd be on it like jam on toast. Great sound, great staff, HEAVY POURS, and the burgers are some of the best in the city as long as they aren't swamped. Wish delmar still had the local places it used to when i was growing up, all the money from WashU def. changed the area for better and worse. Also a great street for boba tea, there's boba within spitting distance no matter where you are on the strip! What a long way they've come from nothing but biker bars and tattoo shops haha
I was fortunate enough to see Chuck Berry play at Blueberry Hill and meet him afterwards. I still have my signed ticket stub.

Joe Edwards certainly deserves his own star on the Walk of Fame!
