That stone of Charles M is absolutely gorgeous. That Dexter Mosoleum.......astounding beauty. Burnet Stone, beyond words of such beauty, and I love angel statues/stones such as The Weeping Angel
Just been watching your Goonies and E.T filming locations. Brilliantly done. My favourite thing about your videos is the camera work and your knowledge on the subject at hand. Keep up the amazing work 👌🏻
This reminded me of my grandfather's funeral, he's one of the main reasons I love SpongeBob, as a kid I would go to his home hours away from where I lived at the time just to catch a new episode with him. At his funeral I placed a SpongeBob figure next to him, I'm still broken without him here, that was in 2013. He was just like a father figure to me after my parents divorced. I was an angry kid, and Papa was the best friend I never knew I had until he was gone, I was just too arrogant to see that.
I used to wander through Spring Grove now and again - it truly is a 'city of the dead'. It is the only cemetery I've ever visited where I actually saw a ghost....
That mausoleum looks like a mini Hogwarts. even with the little island in the pond. Really cool. The Sponge Bob monuments should be kept. That lady served our country and died a horrible death by the hands of her boyfriend. She deserves what she wanted.
Great cemetery tour! I had a friend whose child died, and they purchased a small Mickey Mouse tombstone. The cemetery allowed it, but the family got legal notice from the Disney company. In the end, the stone stayed -- under the agreement that the family didn't try it again for the other 4 children.
Did my research on the Dexter family. Quite interesting family. Found what they did for a living. They owned a liquor distribution company. Their bourbon is still one of the top 20 in the US. One of the granddaughters,I think Annie, had an interesting request in her will.
The white trees are Bradford Pear. Thanks for the vids. I’m actually from Garden City KS and have some familiarity with Holcomb and the Clutter case. Thank you for the respectful film of that. Kansas is windy for sure!
Another great one! To your question about “being on display” for famous or well known it is called, “Lying in repose”. It’s very similar to “lying in state” which is reserved for politicians and heads of state literally lying in repose in a state building usually with an honor guard. This was a gorgeous cemetery.
That beautiful white flowering tree may very well be a Star Magnolia. They bloom very early in spring. When my daughter was little, and before I knew what they were called, we would drive around to see the "Daisy Trees" as she called them. Glad the SpongeBob headstones were returned to their rightful place. I'm sure the family had been through enough without having to deal with such BS.
It's not the only one. It was the source of minor controversy at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati a few years ago. Some families thought it was inappropriate but it was one family's way of addressing grief and it remains. There are many interesting stories about the place including a crying monument.
It has been years since I've been there and don't remember much. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful cemetery. And thank you for visiting Cincinnati and attending Horror Hound. Meeting you two is the highlight of my year. Thank you so much for being you. Happy Halloween!
That angel detail was incredible. And, who expected the little updo with also long curly cascading long hair?! Beautiful. The eye details, the wing details. You wonder how much these cost when purchased. Anyhow, so many beautiful details in the cemetery. Thanks for taking us.
Very nicely done a beautiful tribute that celebrates what she loved. Another alternative would have been just to etch a life-size SpongeBob on the back of the original front memorial stone
Well, if you ever make it to quaint old England, lol, you are both welcome to stay with us, in Stratford-upon-Avon, we have the oldest buildings, the oldest ghosties, several ghost tours, obvs, and, erm, Shakespeare... Happy Halloween, loved this one!!, 🦇 👻🦉🕷️🎃❣️
This is actually a VERY tragic, but beautiful story. So sad...The cemetery should never tell someone what kind of memorial they can have. It's historic yes, but each one shows how unique we all are. Great video. 👍🏻
How freaky would it have been for the Angel's statue's eyes to have moved with you as you went around it? HeHeHe! Great video as always. Love and Hugs to you both. Take care and welcome to Ohio where I live.
A really lovely place to explore. The sphynx was stunning and the Dexter mausoleum a charming building. As an explorer of local graveyards here in the U.K. I can tell you we have some beautiful stones and statuary and the yards are often very, very crowded. though most of our graveyards are dwarfed by the American ones you show us I'm pretty sure you would love them and love the small, ancient hauntingly atmospheric ones and all the stories that go with them even more.
A Very beautiful cemetery, GriMMs--- incredible mausoleums, for sure.... A downer bad call on the the Soldier, who was the Sponge Bob fan--- so glad they at least put the field stones up, anyway.... It is very important that a cemetery has tolerance, not only for the Living, but also for the Dead.... Thanks, again for taking us along, GriMMs...Oh, and HaPPY BiRTHDaY, Jessica..... :^)"""""""""
I live in Cincinnati and didn’t know about that SpongeBob tombstones. As a veteran I’m glad they worked it out and put them back up to honor the soldier. Rip sister, you are not forgotten.
Your streams are getting better and better Michael and happy birthday Jessica hope you enjoy your big day you both always be my favourite one of the best on UA-cam keep up the great work love you guys ♥♥♥
Props to the employee who made the original executive decision on SpongeBob! Those beautiful trees we have here in Seattle. They are Magnolia trees! And ironically, I live in a neighborhood called Magnolia 🥰
The detail and artistry of that angel statue is absolutely amazing! I am with you, the cemetery should have not made a big deal about those sponge Bob statues. Thanks for sharing these neat things.
Really enjoy your posts - I like taking pictures in cemeteries I admire the monuments and wonder about the individuals buried there. When we visited Spring Grove i noticed that our GPS would not register so we tried to use the in car compass to avoid getting lost. There is an arch you drive thru to get into the cemetery - as we followed the compass it didn't matter what direction we drove, we ended up back at that arch. I would like to re-explore there but it is a 5 hour drive to get there from our home.
What a beautiful cemetery, the Dexter mausoleum is so huge, too bad it's locked up. The angel statue is lovely, she draws me to pray at her side, too bad I live so far away. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic video! I kind of understand the cemetery's perspective. For example, Historic Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Sleepy Hollow, NY wouldn't be the same if they allowed new grave sites to feature anything modern, especially cartoon characters. So, from a historical perspective I understand the cemetery's position. Old historic Cemetaries in general should keep things looking historic- to fit in with the vibe of the cemetery overall. Just my thought.
I think that the spongbob headstone is odd, but it is not easy to get the public to care about cemeteries and in the end it would probably be good for publicity.
No one has right to tell who where or what to have on anyone’s grave . With that in mind I want bugs bunny with mine. 7:34 the mausoleums ,churches , stain glass church windows are beautiful and such detailed.
Very interesting detailed weeping angel and huge museoluem and those huge SpongeBob SquarePants too thank you for sharing this with taking all of us along with both of you happy belated birthday wishes to Jessica hope you had glouish day stay safe and safe travels

I used to visit this cemetery a lot for work. It's so big that there are three cottages located within it for people to rest while walking. They also have there own nursery and greenhouse where they grow their own plants. And the big Gothic building is actually a private mausoleum for one family.
Who would love to live in the White Pine Chapel? I certainly would - after some renovations to cozy it up a bit. Thanks for another interesting walk through a classy cemetery!
Those are well made!!!! To me the cemetery had no right to remove them. The stones were the families. They could have asked them to remove the stones. If the family refused to remove them, then yes the cemetery had the right to touch them. I Love looking at old headstones & mausoleums!!!! Thank You for the Tour!!!! Amazing stuff!!!! 🥶💙ed💯👍😎😁🤘
You guys made it out there!! Awesome!! George Reeve was there temporarily. Looking forward to a Romania episode!! Looking forward to the Horrorhound videos too!
Hi guys!! I’m back! I seriously! Can’t wait to see what ta hell I have to watch next ! P.S. I’m 65 years old grumpy as frack! I may ask rude or inappropriate questions. Please continue on with this tour!
Your videos are so great! As a history fan I love the information you are sharing ! I hope you do get to visit Europe! So much to see and learn! Thanks again for all you both do to teach us about interesting people and the history of their lives!
If you guys ever get the chance you guys should visit Elm wood cemetery in centralia IL. There is a really famous grave there, her name was Annie. Her dad built her a huge monument of her and her violin. Everyone calls her violin Annie. Centralia is about an hour outside of st.louis. The cemetery is HUGE!

Check out pictures of the Cologne Cathedral. I love going there and the unfinished Mausoleum looks a lot like parts of it. If you ever visit Germany and Cologne, I will be more than happy to show you around
I really like the SpongeBob headstones. I can see both sides on that issue. It makes me wonder though if SpongeBob is the twins favorite too? The weeping Angel has such great detail.
Just recently discovered your videos and I am happy I did, you do an impeccable job of telling the story of each thing you visit. It makes me feel like I am there with you both! Love it 👻
Awesome, there is a cemetery here in Illinois that is very interesting, there is a grave of 7 children buried on 1 plot. All 7 children were decapitated by their mother "Julia".You can read about it on Google, look up (Death curve ,Cambridge Illinois)
Such a beautiful video and such a beautiful cemetery. Well done. I so enjoyed this. Seeing the statues and the buildings. Everything was absolutely breathtaking
I can only imagine how much this video means to the family of Kimberly. Seeing this video helps her memory live on... and the Dexter Mausoleum OMG its beautiful.. I hear people are dying to get in there(dad joke) 😁.. happy Halloween ... grimm life & love to all
Loved watching you guys video lots of fun to watch you guys go from one place to another....keep up the good work guys ...😉👍👍. Take care and safe travels and have a great day!!!!,,😊

That stone of Charles M is absolutely gorgeous. That Dexter Mosoleum.......astounding beauty. Burnet Stone, beyond words of such beauty, and I love angel statues/stones such as The Weeping Angel
The cost Kim’s family must have spent on both markers must have been insane. So sad

We live up the road from Spring Grove Cemetery. We have family buried there. Beautiful place. It's also haunted. The white trees are dogwoods.
I used to wander through Spring Grove now and again - it truly is a 'city of the dead'. It is the only cemetery I've ever visited where I actually saw a ghost....
That young lady bravely served America and the people, she deserves to have what ever she wanted. Rip soldier and thank you for your courage.
The Weeping Angel and the church bells coinciding for your vid, I love it 🖤
SpongeBob SquarePants tombstone? Pretty interesting and pretty cool. Rest In Peace beautiful Kimberly 🕊
That mausoleum looks like a mini Hogwarts. even with the little island in the pond. Really cool. The Sponge Bob monuments should be kept. That lady served our country and died a horrible death by the hands of her boyfriend. She deserves what she wanted.

That's pathetic on Disney's part to do something like that to a child's grave is just as low as you can get are they that greedy?
@@ladynikkie i agree 100%. They're all about money.
I think it's do to with the fact Walt disney came up with the character so other people can't use it which is stupid

Spring grove is the second largest cemetery within city limits in the nation . It’s huge . Sponge Bob should have been left alone …
The eyes of that angel looked almost real through your camera lens, I kept expecting to see it blink.
So glad the cemetery put the Spongebob tombstones back up!! Another historical triumph by Grimmlife!!!🎃🙏🏽❤️🔥
I saw this title and thought oh no, not Norm and Sponge Bob in the same year.
You guys are prolific! Thank you for including us in your adventures. Happy Halloween 🎃
Awesome to see you guys got some footage while you were in town! Great meeting you two at HHW! You two are in my most recent video! 🤙🏼🖤
A really cool huge old cemetery in Dayton Ohio you should visit is woodland cemetery
Another great one! To your question about “being on display” for famous or well known it is called, “Lying in repose”.

beautiful cemetery, luv your narrative Michael and Jessica makes the cemetery walk so mysterious
Beeeautiful resting place 💚 Gorgeus trees and landscape

Had to do a double take at the title to make sure I read it correctly lol
Spring Grove is a beautiful cemetery. My grandparents are entombed in the mausoleum.
It's not the only one. It was the source of minor controversy at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati a few years ago. Some families thought it was inappropriate but it was one family's way of addressing grief and it remains. There are many interesting stories about the place including a crying monument.
You were standing very close to my sister Corinne Morgan right behind spongebob statue😢💞 Love you guys were there
It has been years since I've been there and don't remember much. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful cemetery. And thank you for visiting Cincinnati and attending Horror Hound. Meeting you two is the highlight of my year. Thank you so much for being you. Happy Halloween!

I just love and appreciate you guys so much. Thanks.
Very cool old cemetery. You have to love the detail of the older headstones. I do like your narrating of your stories that you tell.
The thought and appreciation you two put in your videos is what keeps me watching. Much appreciate the efforts!

I went to college in Cincinnati. Lots of people get married in Spring Grove because it's so pretty there.
The mausoleum- wow!!!! It’s so beautiful.
I live in Cincinnati and didn’t know about that SpongeBob tombstones. As a veteran I’m glad they worked it out and put them back up to honor the soldier. Rip sister, you are not forgotten.

I live in Cinci, and come here pretty often! It’s a beautiful place!

Im glad you got to film in Cincinnati while you were in town. Also glad I got the chance to meet you both.
The Weeping Angel statue is so beautiful and creepy at the same time. I´ve never seen a statue make me feel like that !!!

That mausoleum was giving me Harry Potter vibes especially too with the pond behind it. I'm not religious, but I love the sound of church bells
The cemetery where I live in Manchester UK does look like that! Great video guys..
Very interesting detailed weeping angel and huge museoluem and those huge SpongeBob SquarePants too thank you for sharing this with taking all of us along with both of you happy belated birthday wishes to Jessica hope you had glouish day stay safe and safe travels

Love Spring grove cemetery! The dexter mausoleum is my favorite out of all the cemetery. They have a great night tour to go on.
I used to visit this cemetery a lot for work. It's so big that there are three cottages located within it for people to rest while walking. They also have there own nursery and greenhouse where they grow their own plants.
And the big Gothic building is actually a private mausoleum for one family.
Glad they got Sponge Square Pants resolved. The Weeping Angel statue is beathtaking.
Who would love to live in the White Pine Chapel?
I certainly would - after some renovations to cozy it up a bit.
Thanks for another interesting walk through a classy cemetery!
Glad you are enjoying Spring Grove Cemetery, the white blossomed trees I believe are apple trees. I live farther up North in Canton.
Remarkable how her hair matches the color of the moss on the stones.
This is my favorite cemetery to visit. I'm so glad you both got to enjoy it. 🖤💚

WOW! This Cemetery is BEAUTIFUL! The chapel and mausoleum were really NICE!
I want a grave so beautiful, goths and UA-camrs are drawn to it to take amazing videos and Instagram pics!! 😂
I just found your channel about a month ago. Your videos are so detailed and so much back story. Thank you.
We really appreciate you and Jessica Michael, I know the research that is put into all your videos, thanks so much.
Love it! You'd enjoy the Brompton Cemetery in London.
Your videos are so great! As a history fan I love the information you are sharing ! I hope you do get to visit Europe! So much to see and learn! Thanks again for all you both do to teach us about interesting people and the history of their lives!
That new song was FIRE! And this was a really bad ass vid, you make everything so interesting
YOU BRING OUT THE BEST VIDEO'S!!😈👻👍👍
In Scotland in the town I live in you and Jessica would love the cemetery here. It’s very cool and picturesque
That was very neat to see SpongeBob markers. Very unique. 🎃❤️
Hope you enjoyed your stay in our Cincinnati! The trees that you saw are white forsythia trees. We have some along the lane near our home.
I love Spring Grove, but they are pretty strict about tombstone design and graveside decor. We often hear of feuds between families and the cemetery administration.
So glad you and Jessica got an opportunity to explore during your short visit. It's very pretty this time of year. 🖤
Check out pictures of the Cologne Cathedral. I love going there and the unfinished Mausoleum looks a lot like parts of it. If you ever visit Germany and Cologne, I will be more than happy to show you around

Loved watching you guys video lots of fun to watch you guys go from one place to another....keep up the good work guys ...😉👍👍. Take care and safe travels and have a great day!!!!,,😊
It would be really cool if you came to the cemetery here in Eastland, Texas. You'll find the grave of Josiah "Doc" Scurlock there, who rode with Billy The Kid. There is also an historical marker identifying the location of the Santa Clause bank robber hanging, which was the last public lynching ever in Texas. Also, you can do a cover piece on the Legend of Old Rip, the horned toad and official Eastland mascot. It's a very interesting story.
What do you think?
