@@DoesntPayFullPriceimo pappys and bogarts are the best stl bbq places ive had
@@DmoneyS44 I heard good things about both of those. I saw too many videos at pappy's so I opted to go some different
@@DoesntPayFullPriceMy favorite BBQ is out in st Charles county called heavy smoke. Salt and smoke is also great.
@@mattschmitt9924 I appreciate the recommendation, added to the list!
Pirrone’s Pizza is THE BEST!
Thank for the rec! I'm always looking for great pizza 🍕
Steve's Hotdogs (gourmet hotdogs and treats), My Marie (Caribbean soul food), Menya Ru (rated best ramen in the U.S.).
Thanks for the recommendations! Those sound right up my alley
Went to alot of places on Hampton
Seems like it's the place to be
IMOS is not close to the best pizza in St. Louis. Too gloppy (that's what my wife says) Our favorite pizza is Saullos in St. Charles and Red Oven in Hazelwood. Both are small, family owned.
I'm adding these to the list. Imo's was just a late addition because my wife hadn't had it in years lol. Thanks for watching!
@@DoesntPayFullPrice Great! Let me know what you think if you visit.
@@bolt4694 will do!
Press Pizza… maybe be good… but that’s not pizza….😊
Never heard of press pizza. I'll add it to the list, thanks for watching!
It’s not that great. I wonder who voted it number 1? They should have tried MonteBellos.
Mayonnaise on pizza? NOPE! A travesty! Sounds like chicago influencers! That just can't happen!
Like the first cup of coffee EVERYTHING in STL is “generic, mass produced and not at all what I am looking for”
I thought the same, you have to hunt for 'em, but there's some really cool stuff popping up
What about narrow gauge?
Narrow gauge also makes great beer!
Im sorry press pizza im sure you pizza is amazing but this isn’t California pizza kitchen. If your pizza looks like a vegan pizza taco im not eating there.
Hahaha, it was pretty dang good tho
BEST zoo ever!
I may have to agree with you
Adams is not known for their ribs...they are known for their Hot Salami
Dang I shouldve tried that too. How is it?
That was not our number 1 pizza. That place just opened not long ago
Which one? Press? It still has 4.9 stars on Google
you forgot the pork steak
Haha I actually made some a few weeks ago. Pork steaks are classic stl
Mocha bees on grand best coffee
Thanks for the recommendation!
For people who don't like provel on their pizza (not me) I find that getting a mix of provel and mozzarella, which most places will accommodate, will make them happy. Provel is an acquired taste.
It absolutely is an acquired taste, lol! That's a good pro tip.
Provel is the ONLY cheese to put on a real pizza, St. Louis style or not! The taste of Provel is fantastic!!!
@christopherrlayton8335 I agree with you but I know many people who refuse to eat it and this is a compromise. When I am with like minded individuals I always get provel only.
It's not so much the taste, but the texture that's all wrong with proven. Then the taste hits you. Combined, it is nasty.
@@thnksno it's an odd one for sure!
Should have went to Zia’s on the Hill
@@andrewwaltrip8552 do they have a dish that they are known for?
Imos is good but for a thin crust gets expensive. Sausage and Bacon is a staple as they put bacon strips on the pizza instead of bacon pieces, or bacon pepperoni and mushroom is another area favorite. Its not st louis pizza but honestly my favorite places are Joes Pizza and Jets Pizza.
There is a place in st louis called twisted ranch and its known for all the types of ranch sauce and you can dip fries in. Its really good.
Crown Candy for their monster BLT sandwich and Ice Cream/shakes/sundaes.
Lotawata Creek across the river into Fairview Heights IL just 15 miles across the river into IL is really great sit down restaurant and they give so many fries you'll think they made a mistake but they have a whole potato room just for potatoes to cut and make into fries every day. (Fried Mac N Cheese burger and the Heart Attack Burgers are great)
Great Thai / Asian Fusion place in Fairview Heights called Tong Phoon. and a great Sushi place called Sushi Tatsu (the traffic on the IL side is easier to navigate lol.
Never thought it’d run into a comment about sushi tatsu on UA-cam lol. I’m gonna have to check out that Asian fusion place sometime soon! As far as traffic is concerned, it is definitely more manageable on this side of the river, but Fairview may be my least favorite places to drive in the whole metro east 😂.
All these places sound 🔥. I'm glad to see the food scene in St Louis is finally taking off! Thank for the recs.
Bogart's is the best without question
Next time I'm in town I'll have to check it out and see who comes out on top
What do u get there?
@@DoesntPayFullPrice They have the best ribs in Saint louis
Talking pizza? Shout out to guffeys.
Added to the list of must try places
Also, Walmart, Price Choppers, and HyVee in Kansas City Now sells IMO’s Pizza. That is the best pizza ever. One thing though is that Price Choppers also sells the IMO’s cheese. So you get the cheese from Price Chipper and a cheese IMO’s pizza from Walmart, because it’s cheaper there, add more cheese to the pizza and let it get cannery yellow
Thanks for the pro tip. The cheese is so hard to find outside of st louis
Glad you got around to StL style pizza eventually! Give Cecil Whittaker's a try. That is my personal favorite!
Never heard of it, I'll definitely have to check it out!
What is your favorite St Louis food?
Easily Beast BBQ, their pork steaks are the best! Up Late also has the best late night food in the city and is open until 4 am!

Lol
There is a hole in the wall Thai restaurant on Delmar that is awesome
I love a good Thai place, do u remember the name?
I can also vouch for this hole in the wall place that I can’t remember the name of 😂
There’s a chain called BJ’s but the western burger or peanut butter something like that is SOOO GOOD. I got one in San Jose Cali but not nearly as good
They do a PB burger?! I'm in, that sounds awesome
That coffee shop was new there is a other shop on one lock down on Shaw which better.
Do you remember the name?

The Charley Murphy 😅🤣🤣
It lived up to the name
Don’t sleep on Choquette.
You didn’t pick the best places I can’t lie. Brotha goes to the Lou and he ain’t get a St. Paul or gioas and you didn’t even go to Anheuser-Busch.
Anheuser Busch 😂 = 🔥 🗑️
AB is garbage. 4 hands brewery is the best beer in STL.
If you're looking to go to the hill this is not the video for you first stop the hill
Just to prove exactly why you don't go there lol
I was actually just in Denver. Got myself some Blue Pan Detroit-style. Pretty good!
In my opinion, Pie Guy Pizza is the best in STL. I also live just a few blocks from Coffestamp. I love that place.
Oh hell ya! I love blue pan, very good choice. It's between them, outside pizza and redeemer for best pizza in denver
Fortel's is better than Imo's
I'll have to check it out
"We aren't going to the 'touristy places like the Hill'"...First stop? THE HILL
@@EricaYurgec but it kinda proves why not to go there, right?
I suggest you get on I-70 and go west for 250 miles. KC is a much better culinary town, in my opinion, than St. Louis.
Kc is a great town. Love it there
If you like toasted ravioli, then you should try Bella Milano's next time.
I love toasted ravioli. Added to my list, thanks!
pizza champ is up there for sure if ya want quality new york pizza in STL
Oh nice, thanks!
You poor guy!!!! I feel so sorry for you!!!! You were subjected to the EXCREMENT that is Imo's!!! One of the WORST pizzas on EARTH!!!! I get so triggered by saint louis pizza. It's absolutely disgusting! Trash cheese and you have exactly 2 minutes to eat it before it's cold.
