  • POWERTRAIN
This 4/5-scale Jeep replica is powered by a 196-cc, four-stroke, air-cooled single that was factory rated at 6.5 horsepower and 10 lb-ft of torque when new. The seller says that the engine starts fine when cold, it doesn’t smoke, and there are no leaks or weeps. It has direct drive, so there is no formal transmission, and this one includes a mechanism to enable both forward and reverse drive. The power goes to the rear wheels only on this Mini-Beep.
    EXTERIOR
This Mini-Beep was built from a DIY kit and is mainly made of plywood with a metal front hood; accordingly, the seller states that it has “no rust.” The company literature states that this Mini-Beep kit could be built out of five sheets of plywood and could be made amphibious with proper undercoating. The dark green paint is reported to be in “above average” condition, but he says that there are some scrapes on the leading edges. There is no top, and there are no windows, and the seller states that the headlights are functional.
    INTERIOR
The black textured vinyl seat coverings appear to be in good condition and there is no carpet. The gauges are not functional, as they are said to be for show only, and there is no radio. There are three floor pedals: one to go forward, one to go in reverse, and one for the brakes.
    CHASSIS
The floors are painted plywood and they appear to be in good condition with some light wear. There is visible light surface corrosion on some metal parts underneath. The seller says that the manual steering system tracks straight and there are no bushings or shocks on the straight-axle suspension. The brakes are said to function well.
    DOCUMENTATION
The selling dealer states that this homebuilt kit vehicle, for off-road use, will be sold on a bill of sale for the proper transfer of ownership. This unique 2013 Mini-Beep MBA80 Jeep Replica, for sale at no reserve, is a fun and eye-catching alternative to a standard ATV and one that affords many opportunities for modifications. The next owner will almost certainly not see another one in the neighborhood or on the trail.
