That GTS is sweet! I was waiting for the part where you show off the Cayennes' strength: Rallye!! The Cayenne is actually the MASTER of racing, it does high speed broken pavement and baja trails at EXTREME speed; the factory air suspension is capable of heavy duty use. I notice you guys DITCHED the Lexus once you got to the Cayenne's native environment. My 957 has air plus PDCC; supreme Porsche magic! NOTHING is better for all-around use!! When you engage the low gear (it's 37:1 BTW) the PDCC unlocks the anti-roll bars completely for full articulation. There is nothing softer than unlocked sway bars and active damping, no jarring, and no bottoming out!! Then once the pavement is in sight...put it in neutral, switch off the low gear (while moving!!), hit the SPORT button, smack the shifter back into drive...BAM as soon as you're on the throttle the suspension has dropped 3.5 inches and the active sway bars lock the car down FLAT!!! THAT'S CORRECT IT IS THE BEST CAR EVER. Right now it's on OZ Dakar 20s with 265/50/r20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers (just like the GTS). So happy to see the GTS tearing down that busted up road!!!! I'm trying 265/60/r20 to see how much they slow the car down on the pavement...HOWEVER I have to say I've blasted 500 foot sand dunes on the 265/50s at 10psi! AND, love the Sherpa Rammstein!! I'm running a Rammstein and Rigd swing-out tire carrier, plus rear valence and muffler delete. Only major mod I'd like to do is add the rear locker... CAYENNE for the win!!
Got one. Same color, same 955, same 2.5 lift and 33's. Same fun. This is my 4th off roader (S10 33's, XJ 33's long arm, Sequoia 35's). Have no need to get anything else. So much fun!
I just got a 955 Turbo for $600 from Copart after fees lol. Minor front end damage I already repaired, working on replacing the radiator. I'm not even into offroading but I've found myself watching every offroad Cayenne video I come across. These really are amazing cars. All I need mine for is to haul my son around and get to hiking trailheads, which I can't do in my lowered JZX100 hah.
I have had/ built mine over four years ago. I have 197xxx on my od… 08 cayennes s I love this car rollin 33’s sub drop drive train support and larger lower arms. (Do need the spirical uppers (money) to complete but love love love this car.
Coolant lines replaced New vacuum lines New upper control arms New lower control arms New rotors New brake pads New secondary air pumps New throttlebody Trans Flush New Rear hatch struts New rear door lock actuator
I have a 957. Can anyone guide me to tire/rim selection? Want to see what off road tire I can cram in there without doing a lift but not opposed to it. Online Porsche people don’t know much of anything… I’m just going on the beach with it. Looking to do 17” for more sidewall so when I air down I’m good. 18” is fine too. Not looking to dump a lot into fancy rims.
Ultimate Aura of what? VW Touareg from 00's ???? Those are great cars, but there made to go on the road and then given some off-road ability. If you want a Porsche you need a 911, the END.
@@TheCarTakes yeah I agree, they are good proper suvs, frankly new once are so much better and I wish they had L4 as an option or something. I owned 4 LCs and now second cayenne in a row and love it so far. But nothing…. Nothing can compare to LC200. The end :)

@@JewelCity1 🫶 Huge thanks comin from King Jewel himself
@EverydayDriver hows the rubi-cayenne coming?
👌🏾❤️👌🏾
What model is ? What tyres model you use ? 😮
Did you guys use the low gear on the trail? The 957 had huge improvements to the traction control simulating locking diffs.
yes we were switching between high and low a few times, a real locking diff is planned to be installed on both!
What did you do to refresh it so far. I read coolant pipes are main thing to replace?
Coolant lines replaced
New vacuum lines
New upper control arms
New lower control arms
New rotors
New brake pads
New secondary air pumps
New throttlebody
Trans Flush
New Rear hatch struts
New rear door lock actuator
some done by current owner and some done by previous
The white and green oneisn't a second gen Cayenne, it's the facelift first gen
How did you get Falkens for $400?? I just got a set of 33" Nittos used to test the size and it was $700.
used off of Facebook Marketplace

Can you fit 33s on a 2” lift ?
I'd probably go with a 265/65/18 or 265/70/18
What's the tire size on the GTS??
im not sure I think they are roughly 31s
265/50/20
This is temucula?
kinda? Not quite… It got very burnt up from the fires recently so would be curious to see what it looks like.

but why not have BOTH!! and idk something about the Cayenne is just so much more aggressive than the rounded face of a Touareg

The value proposition is quite good, that's why
