I purchased the 3P. It seemed like a good balance of size and ease of single person set up.
I set it up in my living room yesterday just to see how it went together. I must say, I’m very impressed at the quality for this price point.
The total price paid was $108.99. The 4P was only $10 more but I didn’t need to spoil myself that much. 😂
I’ll let you know when I take it out! The weather is hot here in Florida. So I’m just waiting for it to cool off a bit. 😅

And I thought that was already a great deal 🤣 yeah I totally agree!! The quality is seriously superb for the price. I’m glad you had a chance to set it up and take a look at it! Let me know when you actually take it out camping! ☺️ and take your time! Its super hot over here in Asia too 🥵 I’m waiting for it to cool down too.
Very detailed review. Are stakes necessary or can this be a freestanding tent without them?
Hey Rob thanks for the question and the comment! I'm glad you liked the review 😊 This is a freestanding tent so if you're not expecting any wind, you can use it without stakes 😊
Although single-person hiking tent is not my thing, still enjoy the video a lot. On second thought, maybe I should consider getting one of these tents just in case my wife kicks me out of the large tent. 😁 Good job.

@@CampingGuidance I think getting rid of the mask can be very beneficial for your channel. To be outdoor enjoying nature with beautiful tents deserves an expression of happiness on a person face. The mask promote scares and insecurity to what surrounds us I think. Best wishes

Is there room for a backpack inside?
Hi there! Yup there's definitely enough space to fit a backpack in the vestibule, it's pretty big 😊 As for the inner tent itself, probably not, especially for someone taller than I am!
I wish it would rain that much where I live so I can camp outside ☹
Aww I’m sorry to hear that! :( Are you waiting for the weather to cool off first before going camping? 😊 It’s super hot where I am now as well, but I filmed this video back in November/December last year 😅
@@CampingGuidance No the weather is hot but I like camping in the rain. I like relaxing inside the tent while its raining, very soothing.

Hi Liz, this time you are not wearing a mask ☺️. The tent seems to be of very good quality but since the 2s appeared I have stopped using those so I don't have to put the irons together 😅.

Thanks so much for all the comments and support on my videos 🥰 and yes I decided not to wear a mask anymore cos I was getting some hate for it 😨 figured it might be better to just not wear one. Hahahaha and I totally understand!! Now with your new and upgraded 2s there’s even less of a reason to get these types of tents 🤣
@@CampingGuidance This type of tents are ideal for trekking and overnight camping, waking up and going on your way, but in Portugal wild camping is prohibited, you can only camp in campsites or festivals that have a license to allow camping 😅. You always have to have a base. It's sad because when I was a teenager it was possible to go wild camping and I loved camping on the beach at night, this tent would be great for that 😊
Omg it’s the same here in Singapore! Wild camping is illegal too and we only have like 3 specific beaches that camping is allowed. Nowhere else to camp if I’m not wrong 🥲 I had no idea Portugal was the same as well! I kept thinking Singapore was just extra strict 😂 that’s why I wanna go to the US or Canada one day to go camping and hiking! Maybe you could consider that too? Lots more options to go camping. And yes waking up in the beach is lovely. I love falling asleep to the waves! Did they change the rules about wild camping since you were a teenager?
@@CampingGuidance Ohhh that´s great, US and Canada are a must for camping lovers. Yes they change the law or for be more specific they create a law about camping, I think the reasons for creating rules about camping had to do with the lack of respect for nature, people leave garbage which can lead to serious fires. Another reason is because it was common, especially in the Gerês mountains, for people to get lost. On the one hand it's good to have rules, on the other hand the spirit of adventure is lost a little. But I think we have about 240 campsites in the country so we minimize the problem 😅

Yikes fires and people getting lost definitely makes sense. I sometimes watch hikers getting lost on UA-cam and when people find them they're usually not alive anymore :( Really sad. But 240 campsites is awesome!! How many have you been to? 😊
