Brilliant quick comparison, very similar top MCN’s conclusions. I’m erring towards the 525 simply because you get so much as standard for a simply astonishing price compared to all the competitors. This developing mid weight ADV market is going to dominate in the future with ever increasing fuel costs and general cost of living. Incredible to think you could buy 4 of these 525s for the price of a fully specced 1350GS! - 4 x the bike, don’t think so.
I don't know what those lads would pick but, I'm an more 'mature' rider scaling down and I went for the NX after looking at it, and the Chinese alternative. I think I made the right choice but, who knows. I like the classy simplicity of the Honda and its long service intervals. I'm close on 10K kilometres on mine now and it's been a joy. Not one hint of a problem. That being said, I'm a lot more on than off-road. I do long days in the saddle though and the NX is plush. Here's the sort of rides I do these days. Hope this'll help with your decision. ua-cam.com/video/JNQz1BV11EI/v-deo.htmlsi=OyR5GlOrV9ifNIz7
Just goes to show you don’t need a huge expensive ADV bike for a UK adventure- Great little video folks.
Thanks! 👍
