- Union delegates at Labour’s annual conference have staged a noisy protest ahead of a debate on the Government’s controversial decision to cut winter fuel allowance.
Members of Unite gathered outside the conference hall, shouting: “Save the winter fuel”, alongside the union’s general secretary Sharon Graham.
Conservative commentator Benedict Spence joins Talk’s Julia Hartley-Brewer to discuss this further.

Then 8 Million gas boilers changed to electric heat exchangers, 2 million cars are so far electric or hybrid, We have a total of 30 Million petrol / diesel cars which need converting to electric, So please tell me Mr Milliband where the extra electric going to come from ? to supply 1.5 M Houses, 8 M heat exchangers and 30 M cars let alone what else needs adding to the list.
