big b ya that is brutal kind of. Here big trucks are used out in the oil fields so you won’t see snow tires like that, they wouldn’t last haha. But I get it for show and shine type reasons they are cool looking in a sense
I am a dying breed with my 17x12 on a 39.5 tire, I will never get used to the look of lifted trucks with these 26 and 28" wheels. Sorry but I still like huge side walls and not huge wheels. Just when I start getting used to the 22" wheels here come 28". But I know I will never get used to tires sticking out of the wheel wells 12" these trucks are starting to look like roller skates, plus god forbid you drive your truck I could only guess how often you would have to rebuild the front end from all that stress on the parts!

If that's the case and it was my truck, I'll pull those wheels off right after SEMA and do a UA-cam video of having them ground up into little pieces at your local metal recycling center and once the last wheel was reduced to little tiny pieces: "That's what I think of Dropstar Wheels."

Couldn't agree more abou the wheel and tire combos. I'm running 37s on an 18 inch wheel and there is enough sidewall that the wheel doesn't take damage on hard hits.

I've always hated sema most of the stuff there looks terrible everything is overbuilt and border line stupid.

well most of the builds are done by people not builders I've been once a couple years back and will never go there again to much fast and furious stuff for my licking. I love trucks have a 2500 myself but the trucks there are the worst things to look at nothing there is functional pretty much all mall crawlers and that's when they work and not fall apart from all the ridiculous lift kits.
But Adam LZs S15 is built the right way and fire. Sema trucks are usually junk with bluetooth driveshafts built for instagram likes.
Most of it is pretty unoriginal too, all the lifted trucks look the same, all the imports and modern muscles are practically identical lol

These trucks were built to do exactly what they’re doing in this video. So they function 100% perfectly. I do agree though I don’t want a $200k truck to go in the mountains with either. That would be dumb when you can bust a few grand on a 4x4 without worrying what happens to it.
These trucks were literally built for the purpose you've just witnessed. I don't agree with it especially the small tires on big rims ,but I wouldn't mind having one either. I wouldn't take it to the mountains. I would show it ,but also have me a little beater on the side like a little Toyota.
In 1990 I had an 86 Scottsdale, lifted, Micky Thompson white letter 35's, 2 tone red and white with chrome bumpers, diff covers, drive shafts, brush guard. Beautiful show truck and every day driver. You'd catch me at the car wash Friday nights doing everything up and by 8pm 6 or 7 of us would meet up and go play in the mud. I'd spend Saturday cleaning it back up only to be found in the mud again that night. I wanted a show quality truck and that's what I got but I wasn't afraid to play in it either. If it's for nothing but show or going to be a "Trailer Queen" then I don't want it.

The normal public never is allowed as it is a right to see what is hiting me market not a requirment. A lot of what is shown is one off products never to hit production. Also, a lot of what is shown is products that will be produced. You heard it yourself, those 42s are not even released, yet she has it on her truck currently.

just got back from king of the hammers. why would you do this? cant handle dirt or rocks so its not a off road truck. if anything it decreases tow potential, mpg, handling, basically everthing that matters on the road. what is the point of these?
