Bama, I didn’t see this earlier… found some success sizing brass with a few repetitions. I took some .277 fury sig mil brass and stretched it to 7/08 and .308 with an unbolted Redding t-7 press. Moly really helped out a lot.
The tapered expander on my RCBS 35 Whelen die allows me to resize once fired 270win cases in one step !! I make sure to coat the inside of the necks with powdered graphite & the rest of the case as usual . Can't remember the last time I had one split . Been doing this since 1976 , yeah the Whelen was still a wildcat & I still have it . 6.5 to .30 should be an easy one step process with a tapered expander in your die . Cheers
Nice press! 😂😂❤😂😂 I'm converting 270 to 6.506 as I watched this !! Yes, kneeling is pretty much required. Anytime you're changing diameters of a case. And it's a benefit regardless.
I was the one that said concert 30 tc from 6.5 cm I convert 30/06 to 280 rem , moves the shoulder 50 thousands For 280 I nick up to 338 then back down from 30/06/ then to 284 leaving a fauls shoulder Then fire from with light load
Propane torch, deep well socket, and a cordless drill works great as an annealer for me! Great video though keep ‘em coming
