    Yes, I too went to the end. I received my HC-V777 today, as I live in Europe and am going to use this camera to livestream. After watching this video I also purchased the MYPIN capture card. Also using OBS. So your videos are perfect for what I am doing. I want to thank you for your entertaining but very informative videos. For us not so techy beginners, these workshops are priceless. You are a blessing.

    You are a God to me. You have explained this camera setup so simply. I have been using this camera since Nov. in the IA mode and my videos show the light changing
    and I hate it. Today I said I would find someone to help me solve my lighting problems and you are fixing everthing.Thank you. You are getting a shout out in my next video. Now I'm working with streamlabs and this camera only thing is I have Elgato HD60S. I'm going to watch part 2. Thanks again.😀😀😀😀😀👏👏👏👏👏👏

    This is the best video I have seen for my camera. I did watch the entire video. I purchased another camera about two years ago because I couldn't get my V770 to work for our streaming. Now that the settings are correct, I'm ready to use it again for streaming. Thanks. This was extremely helpful.

    Thank you, sir. I've been dealing with a grainy/gritty look on my camera for a good while. I'm not using this for streaming, I'm using it for podcasting. This was helpful for me to use in the field tomorrow as I have a podcast that I can try this with.

    First of all thank you for this. I've been holding onto buying this camera for so long because I wanna make sure it's the right one for my little video interviews. Definitely gonna bring it outside and (w an external mic) record live shows and what not, but besides this, I wanted to say that your EYELASHES ARE BEAUTIFUL!! I was mesmerized while watching this video and needed to say something.
    Anywho, thank you for this video and I am so grateful to have found your content!

    I have a Panasonic HC V380 that I have been using as a webcam for at least 7 month. I will say this is the absolute best video that I have seen on UA-cam explaining how to use a camcorder for obs or zoom. Also what you have said about the Elgato capture card was right on point. I was debating on it. I also have Logitech web cams. Thank you so much for this video. I will like and subscribe to show my appreciation. Excellent excellent excellent, for emphasis.

    First video where his studio concepts seemed to be along my lines, but of course there is vast knowledge difference. I just purchased this V770 camera, I brought it in to add to my 'tried and true for what they do' Avaya HC020 (which is a 4K camera outputs 1080 as both USB and HDMI). This camera is great, just set it up and then use the remote to Pan right or left, and up and down. One thing is V770 has a normal wide angle lens and I am using "ultra wide angle Conference cameras', that extra physical distance was a little surprise, ...but I look better

Would appreciate hearing what you don’t like about it used in that function.

      @@LegacyStudio Actually, my remaining issues have to do with the rather cheap capture card I have been using. Nobody local carries capture devices (live in rural Iowa), so ordered online, but all I could get quickly was a very cheap (($60) USB capture device. Camera is just fine, but running it through capture device, image is very grainy (image directly when plugged in to TV, or recorded on SD card is much better). YOu are right, more light helps a lot, since the better the camera image, the better the image into and out of the PC that I'm using OBS on. But, a better (well, hopefully, at least brand name and well rated) capture device should arrive early next week. Hoping that will solve any lingering issues. FYI, we are using EasyWorship (our presentation software) as our "mixer", and feeding the camera image, through EasyWorship, in to OBS. That allows us to put song lyrics over the video feed ,for example, or put in slides/etc. Audio from our church sound board also feeds into OBS. This is all running on a single laptop. Setup actually works really well, based on tesing I've done. Just waiting for a better video capture device so I can put all the pieces together.

      Larry Hall excellent! Thanks a bunch for your knowledge on that! I strongly suggest the mypin capture card. That one is a brick and has a great output. If you go more expensive. ATEM mini seems pretty interesting. I want to review that board.

      LOL! Few do what you have done :0) My "hate" video is a format I dont use much. It was more meant for comedy "with a hint of truth" But usually my reviews of stuff are pretty gentle, and lean heavily on the side of positivity. It definitely got the attention I was hoping it would get but yes I do still own that camera and use it daily. Its a good camera, just has a few things I'd like to see get a firmware update. Hope the constructive stuff shows me in a better light! Now I am developing a character named MOSS that I hope will play the role of my "Brutal" reviewer and make people a bit more aware that its COMEDY with that hint of truth.

    I thought there was a way to stream through this camera's wifi feature? If so, can you skip the need for a capture card? Also, with this camera I assume you can record with DC connected, correct? We are looking at using it to stream a church worship service. We are at the "entry level" so we aren't into investing thousands of dollars, but wanted decent quality. We need to be able to zoom from the back of the room (the 20x optical should work for that), we would like streaming capabilities, and we would like to be able to record 1.5 hours without it shutting off - would this camera work for this? Thanks.

    • @LegacyStudio
      @LegacyStudio  4 роки тому +1

      Unfortunately none of these entry level cameras can “stream” on their own. There’s a gimmick or a monthly service to some of them that is deeply outdated that makes it sound like it. But the cheapest option you have for the best quality would be this direction. Capture cards can be as little as $60 and the software on your computer is free because it’s open sourced. So this direction would truly be the best I would suggest to you. I bought another camera that promised to have streaming. Only to learn that was through a service asking $60 a month for that ability. They are all unfortunately just not quite there just yet.

    • @makingwisethesimplewithdustyd
      @makingwisethesimplewithdustyd 4 роки тому

      @@LegacyStudio Thanks so much. I'm pretty new to all of this. Does it have an auto-shut off at a certain time or max length of videos? Can it record while connected to DC power so that it's not relying on the battery?

    • @LegacyStudio
      @LegacyStudio  4 роки тому +1

      I believe it does, but I think that auto shutoff is several hours long. Unlike DSLRs and mirrorless cameras, it’s sensor doesn’t overheat nearly as quickly. If it does it’s because of “outside influences” like being in direct sunlight.

    Thanks, I was watching the hole video. I‘m still torn appart between this camera the vfx11 4k or canon m200. But the ability to record more then 30 min is a great plus for camcorders.

    I subscribed, liked and watched the whole clip. With all my pausing it took an hour. Still it was nice and concise.
    I am used to 2h nutrition science videos so there was no need to speed this one up ;)
    I am going to search why my hähnel MK200 mic does not work with my lesser HC-750 Panasonic. Tip ring sleeve stereo plug should not be the problem because I can use a similar stereo 3.5mm line input when recording my live DJ sets. Maybe it is a set-up problem or the mic never worked in the first place.
    Will be back here.
    Thanks. Since you helped me, I will help you. The most important single piece of information in my 54y life, is ... Nutrition science is a huge and ugly SCAM! Watch out for excessive ingestion of LA (linoleic acid) it is deadly stuff. Look into it. Do not search the standard care. They do not care if people stay healthy. Seriously.

      I would wonder if your microphone requires some sort of phantom power that the camera doesnt provide. That would be my theory.

    I watched the whole thing... and noticed that digital cinema settings do not work if you choose the mp4 output format. That's fine. Just a comment.

    Can you tell me the best settings for filming live theater. I film for our local community theater. Any setting tips will be helpful, especially for spotlights and dark scenes.

    Got any good instructions or links for how you set up your top down camera. For some reason that seems to be my biggest struggle!

    I wash the whole video and is very helpful. I am willing to buy a camcorder for both, streaming and recording in a home "studio", both to the computer. Will the HC-V770 do the job? Thanks and blessings!

    There is something very important you did not mentioned (probably you didn't knew about), when turning Wifi On the HDMI output will STOP! I have the HC-V800 and main reason I got this cam was because of the Twin Cam feature, however since the HDMI signal will stop when using Wifi, this will completely negate the Twin Cam feature as well using the smartphone as remote. So frustrating! I wanted to use this for Fb streaming and so far I didn't found a solution. This camera can do Ustream, however atm I am not familiarizad with that.

    • @LegacyStudio
      @LegacyStudio  3 роки тому

      The USTREAM is a gimmick feature unless your willing to pay the premium for the monthly access to USTREAM. It would be a pretty cool feature if it wasn't for that.

      @@LegacyStudio Yeah I kind of found out that. I decided to return the cam, it doesn't do the only feature I purchase it for. What a design failure from Panasonic. I am now looking at other options, I need to add a secondary cam to the one I am currently using, so I will probably need a either HDMI wireless video transmission system or a SMTAV cam

      You know what, I use it so often literally every day on the power cable, I didn't even think about that... But I do have the battery on the camera now so I will keep an eye on it.
