You definitely feel so alone in this, it’s good to know I’m not the only one. I’ve been dealing with Prodromal labor for a week now but with my last pregnancy I had it for 6 week.
3rd week into this. I've been in the hospital once and they admitted me once! They stopped both times. I have these contractions every night and have for 3 weeks since being admitted the first time. I need support. This sucks. 38 weeks and ready to just quit. I cried today for at least an hour when contractions stopped. I've been strong through this whole thing but today I just had to let go! Thanks for this video! Helpful and supportive!
Oh no! I'm so sorry! It is seriously so rough, so frustrating. You don't really understand unless you've been through it yourself. How are you doing now?
I had prodromal labor from 30 weeks till 37 weeks with my 3rd. I’d have contractions every 5 min lasting a min for hours and hours at a time. No matter what I did it never helped. They were intense, but never got more intense to go into labor. I was worried I’d never know if I was actually in labor. But luckily when I was in labor my water broke so I knew it was the real deal.
These are all really good tips. I had prodromal labor for 2 weeks with my son. And I feel like it does make your labor so much faster. I only had 8 hours of intense labor and an hour of where I feel like I couldn't handle it.
Girl, I am 3 weeks and 2 days into prodromal labor with this pregnancy, always starts at 4pm and stops around 4am. Holy crap I am losing my mind. Resting, sleeping, taking a bath... all those things just bring them on hotter and heavier. I literally cannot believe this baby is still in my body. Anyway, nice to know I'm not alone in being a prodromal labor long hauler. This is my third pregnancy so maybe that's it. Freaks me out because we live over an hour away from our hospital. I already have fast labors, I genuinely think I'm gonna have a car baby with this one :/
Oh no! It's just such a mind game! You get so excited to be in labor just to have your hopes crushed when it stops at night! :O But man oh man did it make my labor easier, so it ended up being worth it, that labor was a dream! I pray its the same for you too! And that you make it to the hospital in time. A car baby would be pretty exciting :D haha
I’m on my third pregnancy- third time having prodomal labor. I’m on week 2 of it. Started at 34 weeks yet again. I’m only 1cm as of last week. Will prob last until 39 weeks. All I did was the are minimum- rest- eat- drink- and relax. Only positive is my “real” labor is quick.
Yeah it can be rough to go through, and make you anxious to have actual labor! That's a good idea to keep things to a minimum! Definitely good to rest up beforehand! Hope it all goes smoothly for you! :)
I have had this with all 4 babies and expect it with #5. With the 4th, I had it for 3 months! It brought me only to 3cm and 80% effaced before I was induced.
I'm hoping mine isn't that long. I've been having non stop regular contractions (5 minutes apart too) for a few days now. They checked me at the hospital and they sent me home because its prodomal but its wearing me out 😅
Aww I'm sorry you're going through that. It can be really draining, and not just physical, mental too! Hopefully it doesn't last much longer and you get to see your new baby soon! :D So exciting!!

Yes it's comforting to know you're not the only one! It's pretty rough to go through!

So glad you found it helpful! It's comforting to know it's actually doing something and not just a waste ;)
I’m into my 3rd week of this. Your video was a huge encouragement to me in that I felt less isolated in how I was feeling. Thank you.
Oh I'm so glad it helped! It's always nice to not feel alone when going through something like that!
I’m going on my 5th day of prodromal labor and your bid was so helpful and informational thanks for sharing!!!!❤
Wow that you helped. Its so amazing how you accepted this process.
Aww thank you!
