@@Cliffhanger_MFC Yeah but come on Mad Max....how many colors and pairs of shoes does she have in her closet? You up with that? Who has your back? Spider on man!!!!!
My old T. vagans had a major attitude, and I still miss him! I got threat poses and ground slapping galore from him. RIP Pickles. (ding dong doodilly doo.)
My T. vagans was a sweetheart, super chilled. She was my first T. and died of old age long ago. I would love to have a B. emilia or hamorii. So, a care and husbandry video about emilias will be helpful for me.
I was expecting the C. versi on here for the actual red hair mixed with purple. Also 90% of these Ts were orange and not red, but great video anyways! Love your channel!
I miss my sweet T. Vagans. He made it almost two years after he matured and I just lost him two weeks ago:( I’m waiting on the ground to thaw so I can give him a proper burial. My m. Robustum I feel like is taking twenty years to molt and seems to be crazy 😛 My b hamorii is sweet now. She used to run at me when I first got her, but now after a few molts, she’s chillin’. My g rosea is my first tarantula and I’ve had her 6 years and I have never seen her molt! My b. Emilia is one of the slowest growing species I have. It may be 1.5” after two years.
the Tarantula Collective I first got introduced to the hobby bout 11 years ago shortly after I was medically retired from the Army due to injuries sustained in 2 tours of combat in Iraq and Afghanistan i recently started watching ur channel and im a fan keep the great work up man!!
No red tarantula list would be complete without the B hamorii. I actually got my first barchypelma a few weeks back. A B smithi sling along with a copy of the CITES permit to prove it as a B smithi. Couldn't let the opportunity slip me by even if it'll take forever to start showing those stunning colours.
I only have 5 T's, but have 3 from this list. My T. Vagens was my second, and must have come from the same egg sack as yours. He never flicks hairs but if I look at him he rears up in a defensive stance. I love his jet black body with the bright red abdomen. My H. Chilensis was my 3rd. Talk about small, sling was about 1/8 in. (from Fear not). Going on 2 years and only about 1 in. In size so far. And finally, I just picked up a B. Emilia. I have been looking for a while and actually found it at my local Petco (yes, yes, I know). I couldn't pass it up. Great video!
Rich, you should do a video on ts that DONT kick hairs. I have copd an would hate to catch those in my lungs. So I was curious and figured it's a new topic
Have myself a juvenile b.emilia and she molted recently and her colouring is magnificent, doesn't like being handled at all and is very quick to flick hairs, cranky little girl so she is but very beautiful!!
My favorite Brachypelma got #1! 😁 Wooohooo! It’s the little things. These Top 10 videos mainly teach me that Richard and I have a lot of the same favorite Ts. 😂
My red rump is also very defensive she’s a really sassy girl. She loovvveees to kick hairs, ever since I unpacked her she has been kicking hairs at me ever since haha.
So glad someone is acknowledging that t. vagans can be little devils, mine slaps and drips venom every time I do enclosure maintenance! Definitely my most defensive T - very happy she’s slow moving!! (Great video! Thanks for your work 💕)
First time owners. Wife wanted one for her bday. Wife got a curly hair and I got a mexican red leg. Your channel is the reason why we got them(I was a no at first lol). Can't wait til u come out with a mexican redleg care and husbandry video.
I final got my Mexico Red Knee sling. It molded about 4 days after I got it. So cute will enjoy watching it grow and getting its adult colors one day. Great video on the red tarantulas enjoyed it so much. Glad to hear you will be doing videos twice a week. See you Friday. GOD BLESS
I had Grammostola Iheringi quite a while ago. 'Rosie' was my first spider and because of her I fell in love with these gorgeous animals. Also it has great coloration and mine was realy calm, alowed me to handle her and display her (usually) on my chest like a medal 😊
My G. iheringi is one of my FAVORITE tarantulas. Even as a less than 2” sling, it’s SO spunky. And when it molts that red is so vibrant. Would highly recommend!
Hmm, this list needs more Phormigochilus sp. rufus. One of my favorite "red" species. Love the slate bluing on the carapace. Glad you included T. sp. Panama though, definitely on my must haves, kicking myself for not getting one when I could.
I recently got a B boehmei and it does not disappoint with the hair kicking. 😂 I have only had one other T which was an Avic avic and it was super chill. Having this fiesty thing has been a learning curve for sure. It is so active though and I love watching it. It's always on the move.
Your positive and enthusiastic delivery is awesome. I encourage you by watching full content and most adds that are not to long haha I hate where there is as much time to see your videos and there is as much or sometimes longer time for commercials. I have been known to fall asleep with those really long 60 minute spots. I figure I want to support my family and hope you stop in for something to watch I have many types and am currently painting acrylic abstracts. Thanks again Ricky 💃🏼🕺🏼🎸🍷🔥
I got a little B. Boehmei from my dad, when it was adult it was the most aggressive spider i ever owned. When i was feeding it, it constantly flicked hairs at me , so bad that i had my arms often irritated by them, also it tried to jump on me and attack. So i sold it to a friend of mine who asked me " what the heck i did with it?". Lol, i raised it like my other spiders and i guess she was having godzilla-syndrome.
My first tarantula was a rose hair too, in '92. It was all they had. I can't imagine all this back then. I remember seeing a P. metallica and an H. mac in a book and wanted both, I thought I would have to physically go there and get them 😂 My second T is whichever of these slings I got that needs a rehouse first I guess, looks like it'll be an OBT lol, or P. pulcher, growing like weeds. My B. bohmei took one look at me and has been burried for weeks, I call it Brachypelma bigbaby. It still looks plump though. I don't even think it has hairs yet, but whenever I peel the tape back to check on it, it's kicking them at me.
For red, I really love H. longipes and B. cabocla. they're very similar looking spiders, but on both of them the body shape and the iridescents are really something else!
Well it has already been written but.... Caribena versicolor! I have 4 of them! I only have 8 tarantulas btw. The Brachypelma boehmei is also part of my collection. Fantastic species, loves to donate hair, and a great eater! Slowest growing T in my small collection. Fantastic work on these videos. Keep up the awesome work!
I loved this video a ton! I noticed fossorial species don't get really much love on this channel. I assume it's because they are always under substrate and are difficult to film. With that in mind, can we PLEASE get a Top 10 Fossorial Species video going? It would be really awesome to give these species some Tarantula Collective love!
Omg I just found out I own a Mexican fire leg lol they said it was a Mexican red knee at the store I knew it looked different from the photo but never found a photo or anything online til watching this videos ending thank you so much 😭
I have a little sling of the t vagans and it’s starting to get a bit of gray coloration for being about an inch in size, definitely the aphonopelma is on my list but not because of the colors, I just really love that genus. The b. klassi or one of the grammostola species that I can’t remember the exact name to would have been great choices, I don’t personally have either one but they’re all gorgeous tarantulas

@@jajrafgani7352 I already have, you can watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/62kVqYlrz2A/v-deo.html
i tought the davus pentaloris would be in the top 10
What do you feed your juvenile tarantulas ??
Since when was the red rumps genus name changed? Abs why?
I've been trying to get over my arachnophobia and seeing all these cool tarantulas is actually helping.
That's awesome. And I bet these videos might help you: ua-cam.com/play/PLjBrtja7Q8uhos5c0u-GRVIydAnPnNd6t.html&si=xj-kzqg-GsfFTHz9
i've had a rose hair tarantula for thirteen years now and i still have minor arachnophobia.
Cant believe you didn’t add davus pentaloris!
Now we wait for the white, green, yellow and purple tarantulas
Don't forget the blues
You forgot Bumba Cabocla... That red carapace is outstanding. I love watching mine when she graces me with her presence!
Now known as Bumba horrida. I really like these tarantulas. Besides it bright red carapace, their sleek body shape looks more spidery.
You should do this for all the colors. I want to own all of these!
I feel the same way but my girlfriend of 21 years would leave me if I get anymore than the 4 I have now.

Show some love for the beautiful red fuzzy butt G. iheringi ❤️

I don't have any red spiders in my collection yet. Plenty of blue ones. 10/10 with the photography as always.
