Great video Brian, keep up the good work.
Thank you Chris!
I ordered one of these. Waiting for it to get here so I can try it out. Thanks for the information.
Thanks for sharing! Let me know how it works for you! - Brian
@@disablemycable got my antenna yesterday. Hooked it up today and I got 107 channels. Antenna is indoors next to a window. Works very well. Thanks for your information.
@@sowhat599 Awesome, glad it worked well for you!
Do you know why we can't just stream local TV channels for free? I can stream my local FM radio stations to my phone for example.
It probably has something to do with them getting paid by services like UA-camTV, Hulu with Live TV, etc. for the rights to stream local channels. They'd lose that money if they just streamed them for free.
@@disablemycable Yep, "follow the money" almost always works. I'm trying to use my old rabbit ears from 1997 or whenever, but not having much luck. Even put them in the attic with coax going up the wall. May need to try the Leaf or other. Been using Fubo for quite awhile, but CBS is still 30 fps rather than 60, and watching sports this way is almost unwatchable. Not to mention the $100/mo for basically the 6 channels I watch regularly.
@disablemycable The broadcast companies make most of their money through retransmission fees that they charge to the cable companies and streaming services. They're not going to give that to us for free. They'll keep the power low on transmitters to force people to buy cable, a streaming service, or a more expensive outdoor antenna if they live farther away from the transmitters.
