Great video. Hopefully I can get a hold of one of these Antop antennas for my apartment. I will be using mine on a 6th floor balcony railing. Also, you said you get some signal cut out sometimes. I would try a LTE filter. They filter cell phone signals that mess up your lower bandwidth and weaker channels. I had to use one on my ONN antenna and I live in a city. But good luck.
Only the antenna needs to be near or in a window. This system comes with 15 feet of cable, it sounds like you may need to buy a longer cable. Also remember. this antenna will work BETTER as a line of site device. (Antenna pointed towards TV Towers but it still should work, also don't forget to adjust your booster box this will make a big difference. Thanks.
Great info, thanks a lot. On question, does it need to be near a window, I wonder if it was 30 feet from a window how would the signal be? I know every house is different and location to the transmission is another issue.
Good question This and most antennas are line of site, which means for best results it should be facing the signal source ( Broadcast Tower). But to answer your question Yes it will work. Also the adjustable power booster can be a big help in this situation. Thanks
How come you don’t place the antenna outside the window on an object or something?
Awesome video. This is exactly what I needed. Thanks! Also, GO LIONS!
