Hello Armando, i think for standard range, there is still different trims, like if you have the SR + with the upgraded options, you get OEM fog lights, then you probably have the oem wiring harness, otherwise, you will need to use the aftermarket harness provided, to run it behind your front bumper to the fog lights and oem power source. I have not done that part before and dont know how difficult it is. You can check if you have fog lights by going to your menu, to see if there is a fog light button to turn it on and off, or just step out of your car to see if the fog lights turns on or not
I am extremely impressed with these! I wasn’t too happy with the rear ones, because you had to give up the reflectors that enable your car to be seen when parked on a dark street.
"It's very safe because.... it's called the safe jack." 🤣 Nice one haha! Really cool video again, very helpful to those who want to install these lights. Always enjoy watching these install videos, even though I might not even get these. 😋 It's at least good to know the bumper doesn't have to come off to get to the fog lights.
@@TeslaDIY I really like using them too. Just when lifting the front only or rear only it's a bit sketchy sometimes. But it might just be the slightly uneven floor here. My jack can't really move on it so it basically pulls the car while jacking it up. Wish I had a proper floor in or nearby my garage, would make things much easier for sure.
Just added these, they look ok in the day, but night time performance vs the OEM fogs is weak. I'd say the OEM fogs are 5x brighter with a wider throw on the corners
After installing these in my MYP, I lost the fog light icon. The button is still there to turn on and off and it works, but the icon is now gone. Any clue on how to get it to return?
Great step-by-step how to video! Now that you have had them on your vehicle for a while any insights? I know you didn't need it, but I can't find wiring diagram or instruction anywhere on where/how to plug the extra harness to make the lights work. Can you or anyone else on here help? TIA......BTW.....REALLY appreciate your vids.
Thanks a lot for your support on my videos! I have not done an install on a car without factory fog lights but I have friends on my Instagram who told me how they went about installing. This is what he said. He did not remove wheels, nor out the car up on jack stands, he removed front bumper instead. At first, He tried to tap power from the headlight but the fog lights stayed on even after he locked the car so that was a no go. Then he used the cable and tap plug it at the rear deck speakers...that was a PITA to work in that area. Good luck 😅
Glad i was able to help! I am also interested in disabling the OEM turn signals in the headlight, but i have not looked much into it. I will make a video if/when I figured it out, or just make a quick post about it. In the meantime, you can let me know if you are able to figure it out =D

I don't understand the need to remove the side cameras and hook up a wire to them for just installation of fog led lights. What does the side cameras have to do with fog led lights??
These aftermarket fog lights also work as sequential turn signals, so the wire to side camera is to get signal from the turn signal indicator on the side camera

@@mitchellbarnow1709 haha thanks man, i tried
Your car looks bad ass bro, you have IG?
Thanks Edwin, peekaystudio
Where did you get the front splitter?
Can you run them with the headlights of?
Yes
I mean the white lights
@@m.meyers2511 yes you can, just go to your light menu and switch to driving and make sure you have fog lights turned on
or parking*
I have a SR+ so no foglight button
Thank u
Cant get my side cameras off. Watched 3 videos and they all seem sus and sounds like people are breaking the camera holder. Sucks.
Its only held on by 3 "hooks", reach in from the back with one hand to try to pull them pass the metal cutout, and try to pull the camera downward at the same time...you can also try to carefully use a flat head, but maybe tape all round it, even tape the flat head screw driver to prevent any scratching or damage, but do it at your own risk
@@TeslaDIY lol yeah went for the flatheat, broke and popped off the camera casing lol... just ordered a new one on ebay.... glued my camera casing back on until the new one arrives, used the T splitter on the yellow wire on the first connector and it works fml... Im going to do the otherside as well without removing the camera..... fml lol
Will this light work on a 2021 sr+?
Hello, I can’t really speak for other models, but I have a 2018 long range with premium upgrade (mandatory upgrade from back in the days) and it works for mine. It does however comes with a wiring harness for those who don’t have factory hardness connected to their fog lights, but I checked with my friend who has a standard or standard plus, he doesn’t have the fog light button in his screen, so not sure how that would work
Thanks for the reply. i bought this and didn’t realize it doesn’t work for me. So now I have to either mess with the wires or go back to stock.
@@NewEraNErd Hello, were you able to install them? on your SR+?
@@nefilopez8761 yes the connector that it comes with didn’t work so you have splice the wires. Black to black and red to the other outer wire. I recorded some video that’ll post soon. Just finished the installation yesterday
If you’re from the bay, I can pay you to install it for me. I’m not handy enough to attempt. Let me know
I am in the Bay Area, however, I don’t do any installs for people, I simply don’t have the time and don’t think I can justify the amount of time and effort I spend to do these installs, also don’t want to be responsible
Did you paint the front spoiler? Or is it just a wrap?
Wrapped

Don’t watch the video if you are not interested in learning about Teslas, even if you will never install this product.
What do you mean bro?
@@TeslaDIYYou we’re talking about whether people liked your content. I should’ve put my comment in context, because it makes no sense now that I’m reading it. People should watch your videos if they have the content that they are interested in it.
Let me know if I am making any sense, because I would delete it all if you thought that it would be better for your channel.
@@mitchellbarnow1709 no worries, I appreciate you and you are a great support of my work! Thank you
@@TeslaDIY Thank you Perry.
Does this void the warranty?
If you're going in for service on faulty fog lights, yes, but if you have suspension issue, they won't void your warranty for having aftermarket fog lights
